This is probably an unpopular opinion but I was actually not a fan of this anime. I can objectively acknowledge why people like it, but these types of anime are honestly tough to sit through. Why? Because the main character is supposed to be relatable in that she's a quiet girl who's misunderstood and suffers from severe social anxiety. Buttttt of course... she's actually cute and doesn't realize how likeable she would be. It's tough to watch in that it's relatable but it's not - because the social anxiety part they have correct. But they essentially took WataMote (not the one with all the guys, ...

Mixed Feelings
This is like every other isekai anime, but then they make the main character EXTRA unattractive in real life, from outer image to personality. He's reborn as a good-looking kid and since he has his past adulthood in memory, he's kind of a child genius (since he has the brains of an adult from a more modern world). What does this teach us? That + the H-scenes (they really had to put those in there) make this the ultimate show for any incel. Genuinely, if you enjoy this show to the point where you sympathize with the main guy, you're the person the producers purposely ...

Mixed Feelings
This one took a little bit for me to warm up to. I will admit the ending made me kind of a little bit more interested to looking forward to Season 2, but otherwise, it's hard to see what exactly the focus of this show is. Yes, there's a backstory clearly about the main character we haven't seen yet, but it just feels like a normal slice of life high school show and the only thing you can really base your feelings off of is how you feel for the characters none of whom are THAT particularly interesting. There's nothing particularly exciting, until you start ...

Vinland Saga (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
The sad thing is while the backstory is interesting (it's an anime about Vikings, that's pretty cool), the main character is just so laughably frustrating, it's hard to like him. The whole premise of the show is him vowing to kill the man who killed his father, but also... it was his own fault that his father died. I don't know why that's never really brought up in the show, but how does he not feel guilty that he held his father back which was why the father died? (Should note this was like episode 1 or 2, so this isn't a spoiler).
So yeah, he ...

Dororo (Anime) add
The only reason I'm not giving this a perfect 10 out of 10 is because I watched the original old one first and honestly I preferred that one. First of all, WHERE WAS THE DOG. That dog was one of the best things about the show and he got like one blip of a scene in the first episode and we never saw him again. Secondly, I was somewhat surprised they reveal Dororo's secret so early on in the show. In the old version of the show, the secret is revealed in the last episode. Maybe I'm sounding too much like a fuddy duddy but ...

I'm going through the Violence Jack shows just to clear them out since they're supposedly related to Devilman? I saw the connection in an outside theory but otherwise, there's nothing indicating how they're related in the shows.
Now, that aside, whether it's related or not, Violence Jack is, as the name suggests, violent. It's just pure violence and cruelty and torture and I guess it's good for people who want to indulge in some blood and torture (think horror movie level torture of splitting people apart via motorcycle and raping women). Otherwise, it was gross to watch and everytime I saw a woman in the show, ...

Mixed Feelings
Unfortunately a show is only as good as its weakest character, and the weakest character of this show is the main girl. She brought nothing to the development of the plot and only serves to make you angry. She's a bullied victim at the beginning so at first, I thought maybe she's the kind that can at least stay calm in any situation, but she's weak, cries, can't cook, and constantly stumbles into things but still maintains that "I'm so innocent and cute so you have to love me eventually" image. I hate shows like this because they have a serious / genuine plot, but ...

I'm a fan of forbidden romance anime, so when I heard there was a student-teacher anime, I got excited to watch it. Also moreso because this is one of the few ones that is an actual relationship (not just sex) and it's not a female teacher. At this point, it's such an overused trope for there to be a busty, gorgeous female teacher and a somewhat stammering, awkward, average looking male student so I got excited to see there was a flip and that the teacher was male. Unfortunately, the execution and delivery of this show is terrible. While I understand from the girl's point ...

This was enjoyable to watch if you're into old-style (like, Edo-period) anime. The music was gorgeous and I really love the clothing and hairstyles. But due to that, it's not everyone's cup of tea. I didn't find it hard to follow but I've read some of these stories when I was younger so maybe I'm used to it? I expected it to be more horror, but it might just be too old (in comparison to today's jump scares and gore), so I appreciated the more subtle classic horror of it.
It's pretty quick so definitely worth a watch if you're into historical Japanese plays and stories.

Seriously surprised at how much I enjoyed this (but I'm a sucker for OP characters). I've watched my fair share of isekai anime and I usually get bored of them because it's always the same sh*t (the main guy goes to another world where he mysteriously attracts a lot of attractive women and ends up being really strong to everyone's shock) but this one is definitely different because... he's a slime. LOL and when he's human, he looks like a young girl so there's no way. The story is fun and cute and even though I know people say it's overhyped, I do see why ...
