Mizuno to Chayama

Both of these are yuri that involve highschool girls who meet when they skip class. Mizuno to Chayama has a more mature feeling to it and starts with the characters already in a relationship unlike Adachi to Shimamura. Mizuno to Chayama does a good job of building up the small town atmosphere and is definitely worth trying out if you like Adachi to Shimamura

Here U Are

Here U Are is a romance meanwhile Shimanami Tasogare is just a slice of life, however both of these stories have a heavy focus on the challenges LGBTQ+ people face in life as well as themes like self acceptance and homophobia. I highly recommend either of these stories if you want something cute and sweet that still contains depth.

Here U Are

Both are bl that don't feel super sexualized and take place in a realistic setting where being gay is not always easy. Both of these stories also feature characters at different stages in accepting their sexuality as well as both gay and bisexual characters. One of the main differences is that Here U Are takes place in university and everyone is over 18

Sayonara Rose Garden

Both of them are historical yuri and both show very sweet and caring relationships between the main characters. Both have a lot of the same themes but Her Tale of Shim Chong goes deeper into what life was like for woman and people of different socio-economic classes and focuses less on LGBT issues compared to Sayonara Rose Garden.
