Slightly concerned if this anime only exist to promote the light novel...
I've noticed a lot of changes in the anime that did not happen and change some events but not sure if those will even make sense later if they make season 2...
And I feel like I need to point this out the age gap between Duke and Alicia is not that bad they are only 3 year gap, cause in the novel Alicia is 15-16 and Duke is 19-20 and plus this ain't our world and the setting is during the old times... And also Jill is 12 if I remember in the

Another wasted potential series suffered from a unfaithful anime adaptation.
Seriously what is up with this, do this anime only exist to promote the original source material? If they are this is a horrible strategy they are going for... It will only have the opposite effect and backfire on them, like no lie I lost my motivation to try read this manga after learning it was so different from the anime... Again I am getting tired of these kinds of anime trying to be different when it's really hurting their own product THIS NEEDS TO STOP. In conclusion pls stay true to the original story next time ...

THIS SHOW WOULDN'T BE REMEMBERED UNTIL TO THIS DAY IF THEY DIDN'T CHANGED KAEDE'S SWEET CHARACTER INTO A COMPLEX YANDERE.
And that's exactly why I have mixed feelings about this like a part of me wants to rate this only 1 but then the other side wants me to rate this almost 9 because I always do not like it when an adaptation changes the plot and the characters. But I ended up rating it 9 for it's unforgettable crazy moments and unique turn of harem. In conclusion they accidentally made Kaede as one of the most arguably realistic and well written yandere character it's kinda funny ... |
