When reading the description, I thought it was a very good anime to watch, especially the 'fictional town, in a fictional country, in a fictional world'. At first, it confused me but still made me want to watch it. About the 'boyfriend' thing, I was sure it was connected with the 'old loves behind', meaning that someone in the past was going to come to the future. (Me and my theories.)
