Yeah, I totally agree with you! That won't change anything. Besides, people should be thankful that the LN even gets animated. It's a shame though, because it's exactly like you said. He may have gotten better, but VE is just too much for him to handle. I mean, he barely has any experience when it comes to directing a series as a whole. Sure, KnK, but we all know how that one turned out.. That's why I am a bit confused. Violet Evergarden means a lot to KyoAni after all, because of all the praise the LN got, winning awards and stuff. So why let someone with less experience handle it? I mean, he's doing what he can and it's definitely good, but then again, it could have been much more flawless, if someone else handled it. Lke the ones you mentioned. I personally think that Tatsuya Ishihara easily would have been the perfect guy to go with for this series.

Hello! just read your comment regarding the director of Violet Evergarden. I'm one of those people hated the show from episode 2 and 3 because of the background art and the pacing but then suddenly every week, it gets better. I'm not biased or a hater, I fairly criticize every show. I don't understand tho why other people still hating the show up until now. The show isn't perfect but the quality of the show is getting better every week, the pacing improved, the background art was fixed, the detailed backstories of side characters and how Violet consistently having her character development. I'm a bit skeptical about Ishidate, Taichi, he might be a rookie but man, he really worked hard on this later episodes. from 6/10 to 8/10

11 Episodes are already out but still too much hate, for me atleast I think that is biased, I'm not that blind to see if a show is bad or not.

Hey! I read about what you said regarding the director of Violet Evergarden. While I get your point and somewhat agree with your opinion, I also understand the frustration from others, because I am one of them. Violet Evergarden is by no means a bad anime at all, it's actually good and is getting better. It's just that a lot of people (me included) were hoping for such a huge project like this one to be in better hands than the director of KnK. It's good, but it could have been so much more you know. Also, most of what we have seen so far is anime original content. We have seen nothing from what they teasted us about on the first PVs yet, and we will definitely not see everything in these last 3-4 episodes. I am hugely disappointed because the director got way too distracted about the anime original content, like the pointless episode 5 for example, when they could have provided a full episode from the LN instead..
