The Gundam Seed became popular to the fans and its natural for the series to get a 2nd season. Expect most of the characters from the 1st season to be included with some new addition. Seed Destiny introduces a new protagonist to the story named Shin. Of course Kira and Athrun still plays a major role to the story. But in comparison to the 1st season, the story became a little bit of dull on the 2nd season. The story is straight forward and the plot is something you would expect. It feels like the Seed Destiny was forced to be made just to please
...
the fans. However, I do like how the characters developed. There are some changes made in regards to the love interests and the relationship between characters. I pay less attention to this kind of stuff. But I a lot of people are affected by this.
What I like best about the Seed Destiny are the battle scenes and the new gundams. Each fight is full of intensity and excitement. It takes the gundam fight to a whole new level. There are a lot of new cool gundams such as the Akatsuki, Destiny, Legend, Infinite Justice, and a lot more. But my favorite gundam of all time is the Strike Freedom. My favorite part of the show is where the Strike Freedom made it's first appearance and wiped out an army of mobile suits in just a few seconds. It's a lot more powerful than the Freedom. Everything has been fully upgraded, from the mobility up to the weapon system. I consider the Strike Freedom as the most powerful gundam in history. As for the other gundam, you have to see for yourself on what their capable of. Aside from the battle scenes and gundams, another great thing about the 2nd season is the music. The background music and sound effects on each scene fits perfectly, especially during dramatic moments. The opening and ending songs are good. But not as good as the songs from the 1st season. These are just some of the good qualities on what the Seed Destiny has to offer.
Overall, I like the Gundam Seed Destiny. It's one of the best gundam series I've ever watched. I admit it's not that perfect. Like any other series, the Seed Destiny has it's own strong and weak points. The story isn't great compared to the first season. But the fight scenes are definitely one of the greatest. I love all of the gundams and I've grown attached to the characters. That is why I was so affected on how things turn out for each character. Having a 2nd season is really worth it, since the Seed Destiny ends the series with a grand finale. If you haven't watch Gundam Seed Destiny, then I highly recommend you try it out. As a gundam fan, I gurantee you'll love it. It's one of those series that you don't want to miss. This concludes my anime review on Gundam Seed Destiny. Thank you for reading and I hope you found my review useful. Check out also my other anime reviews.

Crossbone Gundam is a great series and it really deserves to have a sequel. Actually, the Skull Heart isn't completely a sequel. It's a combination of past and future events that weren't shown on the first manga. It also features side stories that are not related to the original storyline. Consider it similar to an anime's filler episode. I do believe that side stories are a great way to make sequels. It's not something you would expect from a typical manga and they add new twists to the series. Too bad the Skull Heart only has 7 chapters. It would have been better if the
...
sequel had atleast 15 chapters. For those who are wondering on why Skull Heart was the title of the sequel, it's named after Tobia' new unit (Crossbone Gundam X-1 Kai). You will notice on the X-1 Kai that the skull on the crossbone crest is heart-shaped. The manga focuses on Tobia and how he matured to become a great pilot. Of course expect the other Crossbone Vanguard crew to make a special appearance as well.
The artwork definitely improved compared to the last manga. I was finally able to appreciate the battle scenes a lot more. You will also notice the characters and mobile suits became more detailed. There's no real story in the Skull Heart series since the story changes on each chapter. There's no plot either. It's just a side story telling manga. Everything is straight forward. But you will definitely like each chapter and learn a lot from the Crossbone history. Since it's a filler manga, it also introduces new characters that are irrelevant to the original story. Look forward also to new cool mobile suits other than Tobia's X-1 Kai.This are the only things on what the Skull Heart series has to offer. I know it's few. But what can you expect, considering it's just a 7 chapter sequel manga.
Overall, the Skull Heart isn't really that great. There are only a few chapters that I like and the rest are already boring. The previous manga is definitely much better in terms of storyline. Although, other people might find this manga amusing. The only thing I love about this sequel is the improvement of the artwork. I'm not going to suggest the Skull Heart manga unless you like side stories. Only a big fan of the Crossbone saga would appreciate this sequel. If you have read through the whole Skull Heart manga, then you might as well read the following sequel (The Steel Seven). This concludes my review on Crossbone Gundam - Skull Heart. Thank you for reading and I hope you found my review useful. Check out also my other manga and anime reviews.

This is my first time reading a gundam manga. The only reason I read this is because the Crossbone series was released only for the manga and didn't get any anime version. When I heard the title, the first thing that popped into my mind are pirates. I was right. This series is all about space pirates. It's quite obvious once you see the crossbone emblem on the gundam. This gundam has three distinct features that makes it unique from the other gundam series. First are the boosters. The boosters on the back are arranged to form an X, and is directly connected to the
...
cockpit. Meaning, the cockpit can easily detach from the gundam during emergency situations. The second one are the cloaks. Your wrong if you think their just for show. Just like a beam shield, the cloak can protect the gundam from beam attacks. But these are much efficient than beam shields, because it gives the gundam more mobility. Lastly, the sword. You will notice that the beam sabers are identical to a pirate sword, which is kind of cool.
The setting takes place 10 years after the F91 series. So expect most of the former characters to make a comeback, with the addition of a new protagonist. Our new hero, Tobia Arronax starts out as an ordinary 13 year old boy who will later become a great gundam pilot under the teachings of Kincaid Nau. The story this time is about a group of space pirates known as the Crossbone Vanguards, fighting against a corrupt empire lead by Crux Docatie. At first the story starts out slow. But little by little it will get interesting as you progress through the manga. Expect shocking revelations and surprising twist of events. When it comes down to the drawing, I could say it's pretty decent even though it was made last 1994-1997. You will definitely feel the classic gundam style of artwork. Although it was hard for me to appreciate the battle scenes. But most probably the fault lies on my end, since I'm not accustomed to reading gundam mangas. Well that's about it for the Crossbone Gundam's main points.
Overall, I like the Crossbone Gundam series. The gundams are cool and the story is intruiging. But I would have liked it better if I was watching it in animation, instead of reading it in manga. I recommend to all the gundam fans to read the Crossbone Gundam manga. It's a series you dont want to miss. If you happen to liked the series, then you should also try reading the sequels: Skull Heart and The Steel Seven. This concludes my review on Crossbone Gundam. Thank you for reading and I hope you found it useful. Check out also my other manga and anime reviews.

What does it take to stop war? Is it through peace talking or by force itself?
When I first watched Gundam 00, it reminded me a little of Gundam Wing, mainly because it focuses on 4 main characters and their the only ones who has control of the Gundams. But in this series, it still came out differently which makes it interesting. It sets in the future world of our own.
Story - Aeolia Schenberg is the founder of the Celestial Being. Their goal is to eradicate war. The chosen 4 called the Gundam Meisters, along side with their Gundams,
...
use force interventions to stop war-inflicting elements. Then there are 3 factions who each take control of the solar energy which not all are getting any benefits from.
At first, it may be such a drag as you begin taking a glimpse of political conflicts again. I usually get bored in this part but good thing it doesn't take that quite long before the action begins.
The interesting part is that the Gundams may look like heroes who will stop war once and for all, but then it makes you think, isn't it through their way of intervention may look like a contradiction of their goal? As you go along the series, you wanted to seek answers yourself. What is the Celestial Being's main purpose?
Aside from that, you also get another side story of two civilians popping up as the story goes. Lovers? Friends? Are they really an important part of the story?
Art - Well-detailed design for the Gundams, adding those GN particles make it look like it has godly powers. For the characters, well, you can't missed 4 good looking guys although the other one can be mistaken as a girl.
Sound - I didn't had that goosebump feeling when I listen to Gundam music. But there are background music in the series that gives you a dramatic feeling though, which I can't helped but be teary-eyed.
Character - Setsuna F. Seiei, a character that always gives you a flat affect no matter what situation there is. But despite the lack of personality, he's a well dedicated pilot of Exia. Tieria Erde still remains a mystery, aside from having a direct link to "Veda". It seems that Lockon keeps the group together. The development takes midway in the story. Just a small glimpse of what their purpose is in becoming the Gundam Meisters. Also it's not just them that you'll focus on, there are background/extra characters that are quite something to. Like Graham Acre, amazing Flag pilot.
Enjoyment - What I really love in this series, the battle fights. It's so exciting to watch it really. You feel like shouting right at the screen just when you think the 4 Gundams will be caught. Also let me just say, hands down to a series that made me teary-eyed, almost cried actually. One thing that I'll never expect will happen especially if your somehow attached to a character you like.
Overall - It's a great series and how it ended will make you curious for the 2nd season. It's an action packed series that even a newbie gundam fan would love.
I enjoyed the series because there are surprising twist that I never expected, that makes you grit your teeth in frustration or anger towards certain characters. Always be ready that in every organization, there's betrayal. If you're open-minded towards such political views and you have questions as well, then try to watch this. At least, the gundam fights will keep you entertained while you're at it.

This anime is a great way to introduce the gunpla to the new generation. Too bad its only a short ova. It would have been better if it was a seasonal anime. Also, the show should have focused more on the gunpla building aspect rather than the gunpla battle. There are only a few scenes where the anime features some tips on gunpla. I guess its only natural to exaggerate the gunpla since its in anime. The anime also features some of the popular gunplas such as Hi-nu, Red Astray, Zaku, Forever and many more. Despite the fact that its a short anime and lacking

on the gunpla building aspect, I still like the anime. Its a good combination of the gundam hobby and gunpla hobby. I recommend this anime to the gundam fans and to those who are interested in gunpla.
