Aldnoah.Zero, how fascinating really is to have another Mecha anime. Sure are very hyped and disappointing for some. Why? The Sponsor are damn confident they can take-over Gundam and other mecha anime. Heck, every well-know mecha anime seems to be a long-runner, though.
Now, into the real question. Did they done just that? Or they fail... quite miserably?
Story is mediocre at best, 5/10
"Let Justice Be Done, Though The Heavens Fall."
The premise, raised us some bad things from the past. Now, humanity are separated into two; Terran, people of the earth. And Martians, people of the mars. We saw a glimpse of the after-math between their wars,
...
and the (maybe) important Heavens Fall.
Then, things just became more and more downhill from there...
Our cute princess who adores the earth, and her lecturer of earth, a Terran who also happened to be the Woobie. One fateful day changed everything. As the princess visits earth, she was assassinated. Wat.
Enter our main protagonist, a tactical child soldier from Terran. And his army to fight off the Martian's super-powered mech. Then, there's the plot-twist... and the ending.
Art is beautiful with flaws, 8/10
The art of Aldnoah is well polished with nice detailed backgrounds and very nice design overall. Their character was drawn as uniquely as possible (in-universe lol).
Flaw is the Mech itself. What's with the CGI? I can't friggin tell. The Terran's mech is especially meh, justified as it's for war and they didn't care as long they win.
The Martians mech in the other hand... is vague? They are shaped from... things. And named from... something on their planet.
Fortunately, the animators are smart enough to hide it with camera angle, lighting, etc.
Sound is very good and bombastic, 8/10
The voice of the characters is well-done. OR rather i don't care at all, as long it remains good and not silly-milly.
The music– is great. Hiroyuki Sawano sure is a talented composer. Still they used it extensively over-used which means its also became an epic ear-hurt.
Special mention to the greatest of them all? Ending theme of the season's cliffhanger.
Character is alive but not kicking or vice-versa, 4/10
Heh, i'll only mention six.
First, Inaho. Very complex, "who's the real him, what made him like that, and why he is so calm?" is probably every person reaction to him. He's a Gary Stu according to some, it means he is overly-idealized, perfect, etc. Me? I'm the minority that thinks he's not. He is VERY flawed. Not going to describe more. Hey, he's badass and calm, and i like that.
Second, Slaine. Just what the heck is he doing? He takes action by emotion and act like the Woobie, just like certain ninja clan. Like Inaho, he is DAMN flawed. Not going to describe more. And hey, he's Bad Luck Slaine, he's interesting but extremely annoying.
Third, Asseylum. Wait, Saylum? Essaylum? Ass–Eylum? Kinda hard to describe. Cute princess is cute. But brave, pacifist, and actually do things. Still, cute princess is cute. And being her is suffering.
Fourth, Terran. Hmm...
Fifth, Martians. Well...
My enjoyment and not yours, 7/10
Mm-hmm... Definitely as a lot of flaws. But, great nonetheless.
Gotta love the music and the action.
The overall and closing, 6/10
Aldnoah.Zero is very flawed, i can at least recommend it to action lovers. But sure it doesn't deserve bashing and hate. Really anime-watchers is scary. By the way, don't you think Goddamn and Gundam sound alike?
Ha, edited: I think i need to make Awkward Seal meme, or maybe Herp. (5+8+8+4+7):5 is 8?
C'mon, brain. You can do better.

"Asada-san! ASADA-SAN!"
- Not Asada.
My second review, is the sequel to Sword Art Online series: Sword Art Online II, it's gonna be short. Because SAO II is imho, better.
Unlike in my first review, now I'm calm and definitely not high.
Let's just jumps to the pros of SAO II:
1) The same Art style is used as in SAO. Still awesome
2) Mother-Rosario is a tear-jerker. But no tear were shed, because the cyberpunk arc is funny.
3) Character has a very goddamn little bit tiny development. Which is an improvement.
...
4) In my humble opinion: it's more enjoyable than SAO.
and its cons:
1) The goddamn hell Gender-bender.
2) The goddamn hell loads, loads of fanservice, they did not even trying to reduce it.
3) "Asada-san, ASADA-SAN!"
4) Middle-finger episode Caliber, and Frejya/Thor!.
5) The goddamn Kirito, harem, and his void of a character.
Story: (1+0.1+10.9):3= 4
> Arc: GGO, Caliber, and Mother-Rosario
Wow, huge improvement. That is development hell.
Nope, they are all from Mother-Rosario. GGO and the filler is laughable.
1) GGO
Don't bother to elaborate how disappointing this arc could be. Gender-bend, Sudden-trauma, and of course, "ASADA-SAN!". The Star Wars reference is cool, though
Point > 1/10
2) Caliber
Kimochi warui.
Point > 0.1/10
3) Mother-Rosario
The Prominent arc, action, drama, and a real tear-jerker.
Point > 10.9/10
Art: 9
The style is same, but an improvement can be seen.
Because they didn't stress it, less fighting scene actually.
The art in the Mother-Rosario is simply superb. No, caliber is not.
To put it simply: Crisp, fluent, detailed, and very good for anime standard.
Sound: 6
Nope, just nope. The song here is definitely not for VRMMORPG styled anime.
The first OP, is a little fast and up-beat. The first ED was okay. Then comes the other ED,
which is as good. It ranks up as Courage is actually heartwarming.
Character: 2
Good job breaking every character ever, hero-kun.
There was a little to no development to Kirito and his harem.
But Asuna, oh Asuna. She at least gets more attentions which is good.
Her motherly character is shown in Mother-Rosario. She actually struggle, she actually can feel
(more than Kirito) for her friends, she actually wants to be free, etc. Her "flaw" at least make her
a bit more believable to be a character, not just a mime waifu of badass. And Yuuki, oh Yuuki.
Yuuki was the character that really is a character. But, she was... short-lived, literally, and maybe objectively for tear-jerker. I'll miss her.
But why two? Because two ten points and a no development harem is the same as a shame.
Enjoyment: 4
Enjoyed more than SAO.
The End:
Sword Art Online II is a decent sequel and overshadowed by the lame SAO.

Here comes my first review, oh, how dreadful. Why would i review this masterpiece so late? Because reasons.
1) I'm new on MAL
2) I don't care about your reaction to another boring reviews.
3) I think i should share what i have in mind...
4) Ok, let's go...
5) This is a bad joke, greycentipede...
6) Alright, moving on!
7) This is not that touchy review so gtfo or you'll hate me more.
7) Yo! *smack*
...
Sword Art Online; SAO
An anime that unfold the story of a teenager.
Who is hella-good at game. In this case, MMORPG
That one year has changed the living-way of gaming.
For better or worse. Virtual reality has became a thing.
There's that one dude: In Kirigaya Kazuto - We came.
The avid-gamer that do bloody good work at every goddamn thing, including gaming.
Ok, this premise is boring, just start the review already!
Story: 2/10
Sword Art Online:
"Why two out of ten? This is a masterpiece! Yes, masterpiece-ofbullshit-! It's not that bad, no not that BAD. So, why two then? because reasons.
SAO tells the story of our unfortunate protagonist, Kirigaya Kazuto. Yep, from his fame he should be that whiny-little-gay-bitch-nerd-shutin-socially-awkward-kind-of-guy. But no, in the world of games, he trust. What the hell, that doesn't make any sense!? Of course not! it's the reminiscence of the story, it doesn't make any goddamn sense in any goddamn context.
The story is your typical teenager boy who is always goddamn whining about what the goddamn hell is wrong with the "real" world. He wants to goddamn live inside the game world, which he is more goddamn comfortable with. He escapes to the world of Sword Art Online, a hyped MMORPG, just like this goddamn anime... but then the game turn out to be a goddamn survival game, with fridge-horror logic like when your in-game avatar die, you goddamn die, in real world, forever and goddamn ever because frying brain is just like frying fries. This Kirito now wishes he didn't play the goddamn game, alas he was too late. However, his wish is granted, his former certainly is... but then he goddamn whines, he wants to get to real world, again, with a certain girlfriend, and a guy, and another guy, and an AI, all of the girls, harem indeed. Goddamn goddamn goddamn Goddamn Goddamn GODDAMN Goddamn goddamn! goddam! What the goddamn hell you want to bring your goddamn bride out the goddamn survival goddamn game, you wants to survive, then stop the goddamn thing like love is a program! Straight to the end of SAO Arc is a POWER OF LOVE, ASUNA! Yellow eyes! Hiyaaaaah! Then the big-bad dies, the end!
No! there's another arc but it's shitty as hell. Now the boob... i mean Kirigaya Suguha is... yada yada... another game called ALO. Now, i would wish the big-bad's "i am god" plan success. But it's not. Because the anime would be adult-only from the mind to the rape. Imagine, those girls... those goddamn girls. Alright, now it's not the power of a program, but the bid-bad from SAO Arc is back, alive and kicking. The it turns out, he is just a program, goddamn hell. Then, he gave Kirito GM's right, which is essentially cheating. Nice job breaking it, "hero"-kun."
"Then...", grandfather said.
"Grandpa, please stahp.", as his grandchild goes to sleep, forever because the story. Ha ha.
Art: 9/10
Sword ART Online. Yeah. Very good job. Special mention to the special effects. Now that's what you call "Effect" it really affect the atmosphere and tension at fight, and only at FIGHT.
Sound: 7/10
Well, nice. But almost no RPG-ish. It's more like... Good
Character: 1/10
Character is simply flawless!
And Kirigaya Kazuto aka Kirito is, of course BADASS. His character is very interesting; funny, bubbly, innovative, smart, badass, cool, manly, social, cool, funny, unique, and almost perfect. And Asuna also interesting, beautiful, moe, perfect wife. Oh, and Sachi, poor Sachi. And Silica, moe, cute, loli, imouto, And Lisbeth, genki, tsundere, fluffy. And Klein, manly, funny. And Boobs!I mean Sugu, boobs, boobs, boobs. And Yui, cheating device. And Kayaba, smart, wise, the-one-who-never-forget-his-reasons. And Sugou, smart, manipulative. And that Skull Reaper before the final battle in SAO Arc, its character is well-developed; he has scythe and skull, and centipede like, and can one-hit kill many twats. BADASS
Ok, i'm high.
Enjoyment: 3/10
The whole episode make me high. In fact i'm writing this while i''m high.
Overall: (2+9+7+1+3+4):5= 4
This anime just got his ass-saved by the consistent art and decent sound.
The Closing:
No hard feelings, fanboy and fangirl. The concept are decent. In the end, the decent part is overshadowed by the most shallow part ever in MMORPG history:
"No girl would just threw her heart for something that doesn't make any sense."
Wat. This is so goddamn wrong on so many level, this review included.
