I will start by saying the fact that Yuki has hearing aids for show, and doesn't use them, bothers me more than it should.
I mostly don't get who is this for. To me, it just seems like a bog-standard romantic shojo anime with the gimmick of the main girl being deaf. A Sign of Affection doesn't play around with what it is like to be deaf in any real way. For example, their language barrier lasts all of 3 minutes. It would have been cool to see him show her how to spread her wings after being locked away because the world is not accommodating ...

We will keep this short and sweet. What makes this a 9/10 is the little details My Dress-Up Darling brings to the table.
The art is so great with all of the little details. Like in an early episode they are getting the main girl's measurement and as she sits they have her normally flat stomach have fat rolls to accurately reflect real life. I wouldn't be surprised if they digitally drew over 3d models/references to get many of the shots in this show. I also really love the fake anime and manga the show brings up. I really tried to give this a fair shot but it really falls flat. Mashle wants so hard to be One Punch Man but it doesn't have the creative character designs or the absurdity of One's writing.
On a positive note, I did laugh at a lot of the jokes. Even as the joke got old, there was a giant grin on my face. The problem comes from its place as a parody of the guy outside of the world's power system. It's one joke of a really dense guy who punches his way through weak wizards while eating cream puffs does eventually run dry. The ...

This is a very weird anime to review because the reason I like it is not like other anime. TDLR: if you wanna watch THE overpowered male teen power fantasy, this is the one to watch.
The biggest draw to this show is the protagonist who is the most overpowered character ever. His smug attitude towards others is offset for his desire to rule over his realm in peace.
