After looking at the MyAnimeList review guidelines, it appears I'm allowed to use profanity in moderation, so here it goes:
Reiji Miyajima, you fat fuck, what possible concussion could you have incurred to write this MC self-inserted, ground hogs day feeling, deus ex machina producing, embarrassment to the already ridiculously low bar set by ecchi harem anime.
The premise of Rental Dumpsterfire is straightforward and I'd even say the characters and plot lines have potential, but is littered to the brim with trash starting with the spineless emotionally regressed mc, continuing with the yandere ex-girlfriend that only shows up as an annoyance to "try" to move along
...
the plotline (she never does), the delusional girlfriend who misattributes a heart defect as confirmation for her love, an emotionally avoidant rental girlfriend whose avoidance and relationship with the MC promote parasitism, another rental girlfriend who honestly is probably the best character in the entire show (she says about 3 words every 12 episodes), and a neighbor whose SOLE purpose is to help the MC after Miyajima realizes he might've wrote the MC as too emotionally unaware.
This show is best watched when you are in a vegetative state and don't mind gold medal winning mental gymnastics Miyajima pulls off to keep the gravy train rolling that is this series-- it's a gravy train to nowhere and it's traveling reallyyyyyyyy sloooooow.
