It is a very difficult task to grab the reader's attention in short one-shots and still manage to develop the characters and plot all at once. But somehow Akizuki Sorata manages to accomplish these things.

I'll admit I was first drawn to this manga through her most popular work, Akagami no Shirayuki. But there is no doubt that Vahila no Hanamuko has the potentional to be a great manga just like it.

Characters 9/10
Let's start with the characters since that is what I loved the most about the one-shots. Simply put, the characters from all the one-shots are simply charming. Even though the audience is left with ...

Naruto (Anime) add
One of my fav ANIME. People say it's a long series but for the people who have kept up with it, u know how kool this show is. The story is funny, even without romance it displays a mature side of ninja (usually ppl joke about bein ninja and laugh at it) this anime shows the part of the pain of reality. The evolution of characters is like watching someone grow up. Touching, at some episodes it'll make you squeal, cry, laugh, yell, and many more. Honestly its like life in some aspects but the thing is its very different. The characters you'll fall in ...

Preliminary (62/78 eps)
There are a various reasons to why i love this anime. One, it displays the love of parents for their child with a mix of sci fi or outer space thingz (lol idk) and then it has the teenage love going on. The episodes have humor in them, some very dramatic. The cute moments of how two teenage kids live with each other is funny and top it all off with a talking big cat thingy, and flying cute baby, c'mon now. The animation might not be eye catching but overtime you'll learn to love this anime. ^^

Another one of Miyazaki's genius movies. This one HAS to be one of my favorites out of all of them. The story is very interesting, the animation is unique somehow and the characters will charm you. There are some humor moments, mostly its drama. There aren't much romance scenes actually theres only a few and they would hardly pass as romance scenes. Towards the end they cry with both hands entwined, then when Chihiro is about to go home for good Haku makes a promise to her that he will see her again, they show a short scene of them letting go of each other's ...

This movie is like a Miyazaki movie. The story is a very well thought out and creative, i think it might be enjoyable to most ages. The animation is very good and that just adds to it's charm. Not much romance but thats what makes it even more better. These days it's hard to get ppl to read stories, mangas, or watch tv shows, anime without romance involved. This one just has several cute scenes that just makes you say 'aww' or squeal a little. Recommend to everyone, if you see and dont like it then forget about it but i'd highly doubt anyone ...

The second season of La Corda d'oro has taken a new evolution i'd say. The music was taken down a notch due to only two episodes in the season (which suckz) but this season focuses more on the new characters. As always, as Kaho has done with all the other boy characters in the previous season, she helps Kaji one of the new characters, find his confidence or in other words inpires him to play the viola again. A little bit of romance can be found between Kaji and Kaho, but sorry for the fans of Tsukimori or any other characters, no association for the ...

I've heard rumours that there was a director's cut of this movie. I'm a big fan of Final Fantasy VII so i searched out for it. When i saw this i couldn't help but think, this 'director's cut' of the movie should have been the original. They finally fill in the gaps from the 1st, like how reno & rude got to the bridge. As the first one it's just as good if not better, in my opinion of course, it's out in english dub right now but very expensive, well to me. Any big FF7 fans out there, you'll love this movie, its just ...

This anime was very good towards the music area. They showed a very good display of instruments and classical pieces such as the canon or Salut' d amour. The animation was decent overall, at some points it was really well done, some werent so flattering. But the story line is very good and the characters you'll fall in love with! ^^

Fruits Basket (Anime) add
This anime is one of my favs although i am a bit disappointed that they aren't continuing the TV series anymore, the show was funny and cute. A little bit of fluff here and there both in the manga and tv series. The drama was intense at the very end of the 1st season but over all it was all great^^ i recommend to people who want comdey, cute, fluff, and drama. People who like yaoi, hentai, things like that i honestly dont recommend.

As most people have said, the creator of this movie really does create works that can be compared with Miyazaki. Although the animation is a bit different the overall movie was really good. A little bit of romance for this one but not so overdone that it feels mushy either. The plotline is maybe a little complicated to follow at first, you might need to watch it a 2nd time, who knows but this movie i thought was great^^
