In just the first episode, everything is uncomfortable. Anzu's mom, who nonchalantly got knocked up by her art teacher, doesn't bat an eye when Anzu says she got hit on by her teacher. Plus, she's barely scared when Anzu climbs up a gigantic tree and falls off it. Tsuchida, the teacher, is pretty unlikeable, since my entire impression of the first episode is 'he wants to get in Yamamoto's pants'. The characters suck but the art is cute. It would be a lot better if the kids acted like kids and the parents took everything a bit more seriously, I doubt it'll change in the ... future.

Edit: oh my god the kid has her moms blessing and her mom is planning on actually going through with this, too. Dropping.

I watched three episodes and I couldn't bear to watch any more because how absolutely PACKED this show was. The amount of dialogue and information given at once gives me a headache. They introduced like 20 different characters in the span of 2 episodes and none of them were given good shape, including the main one. On top of all this, this show tries SO hard to be funny and it's just not working. They jam pack gags and crappy characters and I still don't understand how the insane pacing doesn't give people headaches.

This concept was so cute and it's very disappointing to see that ... it was executed so poorly. The characters don't have a hint of personality to them.

TLDR; pretty boy has extremely fragile masculinity and stupid girl has only two braincells which both end up falling into his toxic relationship trap.

There's a gaping Sakura x Sasuke shaped hole in my heart, and I was looking to fill it up with some cold-boy-meets-headstrong-girl. This anime was not the one. This guy was no quiet and loving Kei, no cool and playful Usui, but a toxic and fragile Chad.

For the first few episodes, the story moves so fast, with him taking her as a plaything and her falling in love with some other guy in the first 3 eps. This is the first time ... that Kyoya's really, really fragile masculinity shows. Literally the first time he shows any semblance of real affection towards her is when he's faced with the prospect of another male taking his property.

This happens again when precious baby Kusakabe (the only reason I gave this show more than a 1) shows up and treats dumbass Erika like a princess when she genuinely just doesn't deserve it. Erika tricks herself into going on dates with Kusakabe. She doesn't realize that what she wants (Kyoya) is not what's best for her (literally anything else). So when Kusakabe shows her how humans should be treated, Kyoya gets all jealous again and says "ooga booga femoid mine" to poor Kusakabe, and Eritard falls for it again because she has no idea how to not be horny for this guy. After that I just... stopped watching. I'd rather watch Boku No Pico seven times.

I'm not even a guy but I understand how incels must feel becausse of this stupid fucking show. For fucks sake Kyoya, snap out of it and start respecting women, and Erika, if I was Marin and Tezuna, I would have kicked you out of the friend group the moment you started dating someone like that.
