Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken will remain in my heart as one of the best stories I've ever had the chance to experience.
The adventure of Dai was a story of a young boy starting from nothing in order to become the hero who saves the world along with a cast of really memorable characters.
With training and character development we see these characters grow over the course of the show, forming a sense of responsibility and overcoming their personal fears and desires.
Their goal is to stop the commander of demon army Hadlar along with his lieutenants. We're introduced to this conflict really early on ... in the story and we come to see it expanding and reaching its climax in an EPIC final arc. All the villains are memorable with their own personalities and developments and a few well-placed plot twists, that you won't see coming, keep the action going and viewer investment to the maximum.
The world is vastly expanded and helps the viewer immerse themselves in this fantasy setting.
It also helps that the power system is really well balanced, completely devoid of plot-holes, as all characters feel just as strong as they need to be and all of the power-ups make sense and are mostly achieved through training. It never throws the power scaling off the window for the sake of a fight being more spectacular than it needs to.
The Dragon Quest manga was one of the first shonen manga, establishing and solidifying the tropes we all know and love to see in today's modern shonen.
It is an underrated classic gem that everyone needs to experience once in their life in anime.

Now that Granolah arc is over I think it is the perfect time for me to write a review about the Dragon Ball Super manga.
Overall my opinion is very negative about it. The anime is far superior and better than the manga in every aspect, except from the character art. Many arcs are also missing that are canon to the story. But it has pretty clear that they're milking what's left of the Dragon Ball series. The fact that it is set between the ending of Z and Buu Arc ultimately means that nothing impacting the DB storyline will happen, as we all ... know that everybody is alive and well by the end of Z.

God of destruction Beerus Arc:
The manga begins with a REALLY short version of the God Of Destruction Beerus Arc that even the 2013 movie: Battle of the Gods managed to pack more detail in, only lasting 4 chapters. Many details are left out which were covered by the anime and we only get to see the MAIN MAIN part of it. The arc itself is good though the manga is inferior compared to the other 2 versions.

Resurrection F Arc:
Well... there isn't a Resurrection F arc, as the manga decides to completely skip the "Resurrection F" Movie, leaving readers with the question of :" When did Goku, Vegeta (and Frieza later on) get a new form?" A question is never explained in the manga.

Universe 6 Arc:
A small arc that has nothing going for it except for the introduction of the Super Dragon Balls and a few cool characters. The readers will be left confused because of the skip that I mentioned.

Zamasu Arc:
My favorite of the bunch. It introduces a really cool villain in the form of Zamasu/ Goku Black and fan-favorite character Future Trunks returns. The setting is dystopian and the plot is high stakes. It has some real world ramifications and philosophies about how humans/ mortals are destroying the world and only exist to create violence. But it ultimately failed and underdelivered as it created many plot holes and the ending was just rushed and too sudden, leaving a really sour taste and ruining what used to be a very promising arc.

Tournament of Power Arc:
A decent arc, had some pretty good fights in it and the most meaningful power-up in DBS in the form of UI. It did feel a bit tiresome at some beginning fights but the final ones are really good. But that was when the anime caught up, even with its slow pace.
That was when the anime surpassed the manga, as TOEI rightfully decided that they're not gonna go into fillers or pause the anime in the middle of the arc and wait for the manga and finished it themselves. For the first time we had to wait for the manga to actually reach the story point the anime was in.

Super Broly: Also missing, same as Resurrection F the manga skipped Broly. A fantastic movie that will never see a manga adaptation.

Moro Arc:
A typical Dragon Ball arc. A big baddie comes and wants to destroy New Namek, hero's gather and fight him but lose . The heros train and learn new moves and they defeat him when he comes for earth. A giant missed opportunity for Vegeta to have his moment. It had some bad decisions made by the characters and I'm pretty sure that Dragon Ball could easily do without it.

Granolah Arc:
Speaking of arcs Dragon Ball can do without why not add Granolah arc in there as well. The Worst Arc in Dragon Ball by far. Granolah was just useless, he was just there to beat UI Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta one after the other and then realize "rEVenGE iS bAd" and side with them to beat some useless crooks who just wished to become the strongest in the universe.
Bardock: Although good idea at first. He was really overused and with that we got plot-holes like what happened with his tail and the zenkai boost working completely differently.
Monaito: Just how can these super plot breaking dragon balls belong to a weakling like him, that couldn't even heal properly until the final chapter.
Elec: Was supposed to be the strategist/ mastermind of the heeters, ended up as stupid and weak
Battles: Tiresome
Frieza: The only bit I liked, his new form made sense, but it ended up rushing this arc to an end. (Though that could be a good thing)
Could easily have done with Goku, Vegeta and frieza of-screen training instead of this arc.

Normally anime is supposed to promote the manga they're adapting but in DBS case it's the opposite. DBS manga could not exist for long without Dragon Ball anime. And the fact that the complete removal Moro and Granolah arcs from Dragon Ball canon is being discussed, proves my point. Dragon Ball Super manga needs to take it seriously, do a time-skip to after the latest movie of Super hero & the DBZ ending and prepare to close the curtains on Dragon Ball for good this time, with one or two final arcs.

People where I live say '' Good things are slow to come'', and that is definately the case with Black Clover. It starts off weak, as it repeats the standard cliches in the shounen genre with an unintresting and annoying protagonist (for the first episodes). But then bit by bit it starts building and evolving the protagonist, the supporting characters and the world, introducing some cool villains in the procces. And it all culminates in an epic climax near the end of the arc ,that will have you at the edge of your seat. Then it makes a decline with filler but quckly gets back ... up with the final arc that made me want more after finishing it. Can't wait for the movie to come out to see how the story evolves!!

Bleach has its highs and lows, especially if you watch the filler arcs. At some times you have bad fights with irrelevant characters that go on for several episodes and other times you have fantastic fights that have you sitting at the edge of your seat. The main villain is simply amazing, the protagonist is ok and other characters shine too ( I won't say any names to avoid spoilers).Since Bleach is old the animation isn't perfect but that does not mean that there won't be good fights, especially towards the end when the animation gets better. It is overall great and, but can ... be a drag sometimes (mainly in the fillers). Can't wait for TYBW to come out to find out how the story ends.

I really wanted to like this. Coming from shippuden hyped about what is to come next I was dissapointed and had my expectations ruined by the first 50 or so episodes. Characters that I did not care about that weren't even canon to the story, uninteresting arcs and a dislikable protagonist were the bulk of my problems. After that there was a good arc with good story, top-noch animation and good fights and then about 80 more filler. That was when I gave up and dropped this anime and switched to the manga wich was better in every way exept the main fights which ... are perfect in the anime . Came back now to watch the adaptation of the kawaki arc and will drop it again when it ends.
