TLDR: The world has ended. Robots are somehow involved. Making sense of a post-apocalyptic world and what it means to be an individual and what it means "to live"

A lot of the crew that would go on to define the 90s Sailor Moon anime first worked on Goldfish Warning. The Sailor Moon shares the most similarity in its first season, with lots of light hearted, cartoonish episodes. If you're looking for something with that SM s1 vibe, this is a great pick.

There's a very good reason why these two casts in particular had a crossover movie: both seasons are much more notably cartoonish and silly than other precure seasons (when they want to be). Both have very goofy casts, memorable villians, and similiar enough pacing. All aside, I think anyone who likes one should check out the other.

If you watched one for the "Abridged Series" vibe early 2000s goofy dub, then you'll likely enjoy the other. Lupin III part 2 is an episodic series and it doesn't matter what order you watch it but know that only the first 79 episodes were dubbed!
