The art style is really pretty and this is actually really interesting psychologically.

I must admit, it is pretty bare-bones but I mean, it's like 20-something pages long. The characters aren't incredibly fleshed out or anything but I do think that they are still compelling. The main character is from a rural area and she accidentally speaks to people in disrespectful ways. She's lowkey really pretty and I wanna look like her... But anyway, the sheep character and her have two contrasting ideologies: her's is subservient as a means of survival and the sheep is the opposite of that. He saves her in the

end and she is now willing to fight and we see a pretty spooky and violent fight scene (which makes me a bit sad cuz they're dogs). I'm gonna choose to believe this is about cultural colonization and gentrification as opposed to something like replacement theory or xenophobic sentiments (which I wanna clarify that I sincerely believe this doesn't have a bigoted subtext) and with that analysis, I think this topic is explored pretty well.
Kind of reminds me of Promised Neverland because it also is a thriller centered around putting us in the role of powerless servants to other creatures. I don't think what I read was translated perfectly so there might be some stuff I'm missing (I'm pretty sure there Isn't an official English translation). But I might read the other translation online because I am genuinely interested. So in conclusion for such a short one-shot, I liked it and would recommend it to anyone interested.
