Casshern Sins is the perfect example of an anime with a lot of wasted potential. It's got a unique story. Great artwork, music and even interesting characters. Sounds like it should be rated higher than right? We'll get to that but first lets get into what the show's about.

Basically, Casshern is a robot who's lost his memory. As he travels around the world which has been stricken with ruin (A disease that causes a robots body to deteriorate slowly until they die) he finds out that not only is he immortal but he is the one who caused all of this. He journeys around the ... world trying to piece his past together and atone for his sins.

The art style is unique and makes all of the battles look awesome. The soundtrack is really good and each track fits the dark yet hopeful mood of the show.The opening song is probably one of the best I've heard lately and the lyrics match up well with the theme of the show.

There's a really good mix of characters. Some you may love and others you may hate which is great. My only problem is that sometimes characters will randomly dissapear and then reappear in the next scene without any explination. The best example of this is episode 4 in which Friender (A robot dog that joined Cashern in episode 3) dissapears entirely.

Now for the bad. The show seems to have some serious problems with pacing. One minute things are progressing at a slow, calm pace and the next things are happening so quickly that they feel rushed. I know they had a lot to pack into 24 episodes but they could've shortened certain scenes to stretch out the more important ones. Also, some characters don't get as much exposure as they should, leaving you to wonder what their motives were in the first place.

In the end, it's an enjoyable anime and I'd recommend that anyone who likes sci fi or action give it a try but if you're not into it after the first six episodes than it's probably not for you.

Okay not going to bother with a full review since I only watched 3 episodes but I feel like I need to say something about it. Maybe it's because I haven't looked into Romance Of The Three Kingdoms which it's said to be based on but from what I've seen the story's fairly bland. Seven schools at war and the main character is a decent fighter with a secret power which many other fighters recognize which leads her to have all sorts of battles.

I really expected to like this more ... since I always enjoy anime like Sekirei and Rosario + Vampire. Characters were pretty lame and the voice acting was subpar at best. The Art is probably the best aspect of this anime and it's not all that great. Sure some of the girls are hot but the fight scenes could be better.

I've seen some decent reviews for it though so maybe it gets better as it goes along but personally if it doesn't grab me after 3 episodes, I don't plan to continue. I wish I had more to say but I didn't see enough to review it any further. No offence to those of you that like it but this just isn't for me.

Noein started out great and made a strong impression on me with the first couple of episodes. Unforunately, after a while things started to rapidly go down hill. I'll make this short and to the point.

Story (7)
A group of Elementary school kids decide to go to a graveyard to investigate rumours about ghosts. Instead they meet a visitor from the future named Karasu who's after the main character Haruka.The story's definitley a unique and interesting concept but it seems like the writer purposely tries to overcomplicate things. There are several explanations that drag on far longer than neccesary and can be put in simpiler terms. ...

Art (7)
Most of the the time the Art style looks pretty good but it has a tendency to downgrade in some of the fight scenes. If it was consistent than I would give it a solid 8.

Sound (8)
In my opinon the sound is the best part of Noein. The voice acting is pretty good and the music is even better. I especially like the Shangi-La ost and the opening song.

Character (5)
The characters seem fairly interesting at first but it turns out that they're very forgettable. The DragonKnights (The orginization from 15 years in the future) all undergo drastic changes for no apparent reason. There's more I could talk about but I rather not go into spoilers.

Enjoyment (6)
It's good to watch when you just need something to pass the time but you won't be laughing uncontrollaby or on the edge of your seat to see what happens next.

Really I'd give it around a 6 and 1/2 but it's slightly closer to 6 than 7. It's a decent anime with some good ideas but it manages to fall apart by the end.

Sekirei truly suprised me. I started watching it just thinking it was going to be a pure fanservice show with a bad story (Like Queen's Blade lol) but instead I got a very enjoyable adventure. This is my first review here so I'll break each section down.

Story (8)
I was expecting poor plot but instead I got a story that actually really managed to get me involved. Sekirei are basically superpowered chicks and a couple of pretty boys. They select a human to form a bond with in order to bring out their full power. These humans are called Ashikabi's and for the most part seem ... to be clueless guys lol. The main idea is that there's a tournament that all 108 of the Sekirei will be competing in. The winner will get to stay with their Ashikabi forever. It seems simple enough but a lot of things happen that spice the story up.

Art (7)
I have mixed feelings about the art because it tends to change from time to time. Some scenes look excellent while others look like they're from a diffrent show. This doesn't happen enough to make me dislike the art though.

Sound (6)
I'm fairly neutural when it comes to the sound. The voice acting is pretty good but the music's a bit feminine for my taste. There's nothing really wrong with that, I just wish there was more kick ass action songs lmao.

Character (9)
This is where Sekirei really shines. The characters are all unique and it's practically impossible to not find someone you like. The only reason I don't give the characters a perfect score is because Minato and Musubi are the least interesting of all. That could be a problem for some people since they're the main characters. On the other hand others tend to like them so it's all a matter of opinion. Tsukiumi's my favorite because I love her attitude and her powers.

Enjoyment (8)
It's a very amusing show. Anyone with a sense of humour will be laughing every other minute as they watch this. The action scenes are also relaly good for the most part. I just wish they had fleshed out some of the background characters a little bit more.

Overall (8)
Anyone who doesn't like fanservice should beware because there's plenty. It is one of the better one's however because they actually work the fanservice into the plot. All in all Sekirei's a solid anime that I'll probably end up buying on dvd.
