The breathtaking artwork is what tell the stories of these children. You can see the depth of her emotions in a tearful glance or shadowed by fine lines around a semi-forced smile. Mangakas use expert placement and various levels of shading to showcase the realm of grief, anxiety, fear or simple and simple frustration and sometimes even joy and warmth. The narrative is in the details. Koe no Katachi and Kamisama ga Uso wo Tsuku are not just manga you can read to get the full formal or thematic power. It is something you must experience through its visuality and art.

Jonathan is clearly based on Kenshiro. Hamon works on vampires like Hokuto Shin Ken works on regular people, they both got marks on their bodies that's directly connected to their destiny, they're both famous for their rapid-fire punches. Jonathan, Joseph, and Jotaro's uncanny resemblance to the manliest man of anime. Essentially, it's become very clear to me that everything about Dio was based off Shin, at least during Phantom Blood and with Araki's own twist on it.

Mature, lots of blood and gore. The main characters have fairly similar dynamics in both manga. Both are Seinen with anti hero protagonist. Both protagonist are alpha. Dark gritty themes. The mature atmosphere and art is also phenomenal. They both fall in love with a woman. Also both are Berserk and also Vagabond..

They are both historical anime set in about the similar period (dororo is sengoku period whereas mushishi was around the edo period) with Japanese mythology as an underlying theme. "Both shows hold similar themes of overcoming/accepting ones painful past in order to move forward in life". The main characters have fairly similar dynamics in both shows. Both deal with youkai/demons/monster/spirits.. They are episodic and it's fine. Nevertheless, these two anime will give you a heartwarming feeling and even cry.
