this season seems to be fairly good, although the story, still seems to go nowhere concentrate now more on hayate and his relationships with friends and less on butler-master relationship, so here is a bit more detailed review.
STORY: 6
as i mention, its more about friends * and maybe girlfriends ;-) *.
Hinagiku and Ayumu get more screen time which i think is a good thing because as a result Nagi who is really annoying gets less screen time.
Also the anime quite became a love comedy which is also a good thing, cuz it makes it even funnier.

feel as though its not a story but a documentation of Hayate's life.
ART: 8
i liked the art, but i am bothered by it because they changed the colors from the first season what's sad cuz i liked the first season.
also the colors became even more strong than the first season and it really bothered me.
SOUND: 9
not much to tell, it really rythms with what happens in the show that it became less music and more the core of the scenes.
CHARACTER: 10
outstanding! every character has his own story, its full of different personalities and not just lame harem like in most of the comedies.
although some of the reactions don't seem right (what stands mostly in the OVA) most of the reactions are realistic and most important, the characters are all cute and cool in their own ways.
ENJOYMENT: 9
i enjoyed the 11 episodes i saw already although i recommend watching the first hayate no gotoku series (or season?) because the slim of a story we have started then, and it would be much more fun that way.
the anime is funny in an original way and not based on the ecchi related jokes even sadly its going that way.
CONCLUSION
hayate no gotoku S2 is a cool series that must be watched but in order to enjoy it to its full extent it is highly recommended to watch the first season which also contains the base of the story and the core of it.
