Suzume at its best is just its visuals. The story line is subpar with most things staying unresolved. The writing is shaky at best with no real reason given to the viewer for what is happening. There are multiple instances where something happens, and the viewer is just required to say, it is so because it is, since the movie does nothing to justify that happening. Breaking it down to parameters
1. Artwork: 8/10 The artwork is good. It is easy on the eye and definitely looks good on the big screen.
2. Music: 7/10 Music goes well with the overall theme of the movie.
3. Voice actors:
...
7/10
4. Story: 5/10
5. Enjoyment: 6/10

While others may argue that this season was a dip in quality I would say the very opposite. When we talk about Gintama we mostly talk about its gag part but what I like more are the story like arcs with humor and not all gag arc which seems like a filler. This season focused on that very aspect. This season of Gintama has a nice story line with each episode explaining many plot holes like why people call Katsura zura (No it is not some plain nickname, it has meaning behind it), why did Yoshida Shouyo suddenly become his beloved students enemy and it
...
also tells us more about Kagura's family. This season has sense in it which I particularly liked.
The story is well written and has been nicely executed. No complains about the art in Gintama (mainstream anime mostly have the budget for good animation too). I like both the songs along with the soundtracks used in battles and other scenes. You see a lot of character development in this season of Gintama. Overall it is a 9.5 for me.
I would really appreciate your views on the same. Drop a comment on my wall if you feel like it.
Thank you

Before you move forward and think of watching this anime, let me warn you this is not your typical anime. This is different. By no means do I mean it is bad different, it's good different.
The anime itself is paced like a book, like you are reading chapters of stages of life of Kiriyama Rei (The main character). The anime showcases the various highs and lows in his life and hence, how he develops from each of them. The basic premise of the story is that Kiriyama loses his parents at a young age and is adopted by his father's close friend who is a
...
shougi enthusiast. Although, the series has a lot of scenes showcasing shougi being played, by no means are you required to have basic knowledge about shougi.
In the 1st episode itself we see Kiriyama spending time with three sisters who are not related to him by blood but seem to be the only sweet little things keeping him together. As the story progresses we get to analyze his relationship with his colleagues both at school and at shougi, his father, his adoptive sister and other minor characters.
I personally liked the story a lot as it is very detailed and the viewer is many times given opportunity to think about the relationship of MC with other characters. Mostly the relation between the adoptive sister and Kiriyama has many levels to it. At once you feel that the two don't really like each other but there are hints showing that they are intimate in a different manner.
The are is specially good. The art itself reveals a lot about how the scene is going to progress. You are able to determine if it is the cheerful part, the serious part, the sad part or the many plethora of emotions that the show showcases.
When I talk about sound I talk about the voice actors and the music. I won't lie, I like that starting and ending songs. Although many people tend to ignore this since the studios almost never make a mistake here but the voice actors perfectly fit the art of each character. They sound exactly the way you would expect a character to.
As I mentioned earlier this anime is like reading multiple chapters out of the life of Kiriyama rei and hence, I love how the character of the MC has developed in the anime. You also see character developments for the adoptive sister and only a little of the same for the three sisters.
When we talk about enjoyment, I wouldn't say it's something that is happy go lucky. It is something that begs you to think. Hence, I would say enjoyment is 7 out of 10. Given that you, like me consider enjoyment to be something cheerful and funny.
I award the show an 8 only pertaining to enjoyment. Otherwise I would say it could easily be a masterpiece.

Have you guys seen barakamon or Amama to Inazuma? If you have and liked them you will surely like Udon no kuni. This is the cheerful anime of this season. Getting straight to the point the anime doesn't really have an elaborate story line. One thing great about that is this anime feels complete this season alone, so no waiting for a new season and wondering if it will ever be made.
Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari is about a guy called Souta and his chance encounter with Poco who turns out to be a shape-shifting tanuki. The story progresses with Souta remembering things about
...
his past (regrets and stuff) and gaining acceptance about the same and understanding them better thanks to Poco. Souta nad Poco develop kind of a father son relationship which helps Souta understand his father better which again is an important premise of this story, that is, Souta's relationship with his father.
Udon no kuni is a really cute anime which does the job of absolutely soothing you. Now talking about art, music and other also important aspects while reviewing an anime I would say the voice actors definitely suite the character designs and the art is just easy on the eyes. Not too much detail and not too little to make it look like a cheap production. Music that goes time to time with the episode add to the emotions that the episodes try to convey so that is definitely well done.
All in all this is the anime one should if they do not want to worry about continuations and just feel cheerful. That ends my review. Thank you

Kiss him, not me. The name suggests the series would probably be centered around Yaoi but thankfully that is not the case. The main character (female) is a fujoshi who loves pairing "ikemen" guys being hardcore at what she does. Through a miraculous weight loss she becomes the center of attention for these guys she so loves pairing. The guys try to woo her in attempts to get her to like them back.
The charm of the series lies in the fact that the female MC cannot fathom a scenario of a girl and guy dating. As I said a hardcore fujoshi she is. Despite
...
this the series does, at one point seem like it would make a decent romance anime. However, this is ruined by the end of this season. So if you are also like me and are suckers for love stories this might be a little harsh on you at the end.
All in all the anime is a good laugh. Although I would like to point out that I don't really like the voice actress behind the MC female. All the other characters are well represented and have a life of their own. Each have their own well thought out personalities which is good to see. However, it's generic in the manner that you have a klutz, a kuudere, a tsundere and others.
That ends my review. I hope I eased your decision on whether or not to give it a try. If you liked my review please click that helpful button. I would also appreciate comments if you have any about my reviews and how I could improve on them.

Shelter is more like a music video than an anime. It shows the life of a girl who for some reason is alone in the whole wide world which IS cleared in the end of the episode (Not indulging to avoid to spoilers). It is a six minute episode so I won't say the story is awesome or something but it did get me to develop a lump on my throat (It is emotional). The art and music is exceptional.
No character development whatsoever. Again a six minute thing you cannot expect character development.
However, I enjoyed watching it and definitely recommend you to too. It's only
...
6 minutes.
I am open for comments on my page for your inputs and interpretation of the episode.
Thank you.

Amaama to Inazuma is one of my favorites this season. The series is quite different from traditional anime. It's about a girl, her teacher and the teacher's daughter who through coincidences come together and start cooking things.
Although you don't see much of a character development in this anime but it is quite cheerful looking at the three working hard to cook good food and enjoy eating the same. It is quite lighthearted and easy on the eyes. I best prefer the anime because it's something that leaves you happy after watching. An anime that you would be satisfied even if it doesn't get a second
...
season as the story is not exactly progressive like other anime.
It's is anime that is definitely worth watching without worrying what will you do if it doesn't get a continuation. I know this review is quite vague. Please feel free to comment if the review was helpful or not and suggestions are appreciated.

Ok guys I will keep this short and hope I can influence your decision of whether to watch or not watch this series.
So, Orange is a story about a really sad guy whose wife is in love with a dead person and tries to change the past to get the dead guy back while still being married and acting as if she loves him. Sad guy truly. But the writers kind of ignores the guy and shows him as somewhat of a side character. So I guess not about the sad nice guy apparently.
Anyway so the story has a time travel kind of feel to
...
it as can be understood through the synopsis. The artwork is light and hence, has a sad and happy feel to it. It's easy on the eyes. The voice actors suit the character designs perfectly. It's like when you see a person and think he/she should sound like this, here, they do. Right now I am at the latest episode and the story line seems to progress pretty well. Though the story is a bit generic shoujo, the differentiating component being the time letter.
The story is about the struggles of Naho (Main Character Female) to make sense of the letter that she has received from her future self and somehow save Kakeru. I will not disclose what he has to be saved from as it might act as a spoiler. She is able to follow some of the instructions, others she is not and some barely. It is a journey to save the guy she is truly in love with.
Main thing I liked about the series is that they have managed to cover the loop holes and inconsistencies that are talked about when we talk about a series concerning time travel. I will not go into details of this so as not to give you guys spoilers. You probably might start wondering why the contents of the letter don't change as the MC girl (Naho) changes the past thus altering the future. This is explained in the series which made me like the series more.
Definitely a give it a try series. A very well thought out series I would say.
PS. The sad guy is a very likeable character. This might sound gay but I am falling in love with the character of Suwa.

Here is a short review from me on this beautiful series called Onegai Sensei.
I would like to start with the story. I say it is a 9. The story is about the romance a person with a disease that puts him into a near dead state for random period of time and an older women who is his teacher and an alien. Quite interesting, isn't it? Although I loved the story, one thing I felt about it was that it could have been a little more detailed. The story is slightly rushed, I would say. It could have been more intriguing is some parts were
...
taken slower. But all said it is beautiful.
Art: Well the character designs and all other stuff in the anime are quite well drawn. Only complain here is the initial look of the protagonist. Though it is not that bad so, well I would give it a 7.
Sound: The soundtrack of the show is truly fitting to it. Sometimes the sound is what moves you more than the story. This kind of a sound track is very well suited for a romance in my opinion. Also, the voice actors perfectly match the character art as well as behavior. Hence, the sound, I give 8.
Character: The characters of this anime are all lovable but as I said earlier that the story was rushed and hence, the same is the case for the characters. Their development is obviously rushed. But the brighter side of the characters is that all of them are quite distinct and seem original so I guess the characters get a 7 too.
Enjoyment is a 8 for me. Personally I loved the series. Frankly completed it in a day. I have exams going on you know?
That is all I would like to say. Overall I say the anime is a 8 which is pretty good. The benefit is that it is complete. Nothing has been left out so you don't have to feel the pain of watching a cliff hanger. Obviously, the review is from a critical point of view but I say watch it. Lovely watch.
Thank you. Hope my review eased your decision.

Where should I start with this series. Uhh yeah maybe "I will like for us to be friends". One week friends quite a weird name isn't it? Well the story is about a girl whose memories get reset each Monday i.e. she loses her memories of her friends every Monday so the name does quite fit the series. Hase Yuuki the male protagonist of the series asks Fujimiya Kaori(one with the Monday face) that he would like to be friends with her. Hence, the story is basically how these two develop their friendship while battling against Fujimiya's weekly memory reset. Hase Yuuki is a cheerful
...
and an optimistic person while Fujimiya is potrayed as an introvert who almost never smiles. But is this personality of Kaori her true self or just a facade? If a facade why does she have to maintain it? Well all these questions will arise and I don't want to offer spoilers. So let's go on point wise.
Story: I give it a 10. I have pretty much talked about the basic premise of the series in the earlier lines. I would like to add up that the story is really beautiful with all the innocent feelings of the two young people portrayed wonderfully in the series. The story is something that will really bring a smile on your face at times and get you teary eyed a lot of times.
Art: The art is actually something to be proud about. It is in perfect sync with the story as the story portrays innocence same does the art. Just by looking at the art you can guess what kind of a story is "One week friends"
Sound: The sound of the series is soothing. The voice actors match the characters perfectly. And we all know that sound and music can touch ones heart like nothing else does. It best complements the series. Also the beginning and ending songs are soft music best befitting the story.
Character: The main character's yuuki and Kaori develop at a very good pace. With every episode you get more attached to the character. Also other of the lead characters of the story are quite interesting each and every one of them with a distinct personality and which suits the series very well. A feat that very less are able to achieve.
Enjoyment: Well yeah! I enjoyed the series. The series always keeps you waiting as to what will happen next. When you anticipate this will happen something else happens and hence, a level of curiosity is maintained therefore maintaining your interest in the series.
Overall a 9 from me.
