the masterpiece for excellence, as well as the most recognizable of Studio Ghibli's films, Howl's Moving Castle is certainly not a film without flaws, with an extremely slow first half and little character development, the film proves itself as an authentic surprise during the second part. The characters of Howl and Sophie acquire value and their love becomes credible and extremely human. the animations are fabulous, the soundtrack is the best I've ever heard in an animated film, and the direction is excellent as always. The action scenes, although not very numerous, are animated in a very fluid and complex way, as are the character

expressions or eyecatch scenes. in short, despite some problems in the development of the story, this film cannot help but make us emotional, and it is a must-see for every fan of Japanese culture.
Plot: 6/10
Animations: 10/10
Drawings: 10/10
Score: 10/10
Enjoyment: 8/10
With the flower garden scene, this film has earned my heart, so if you're a fan of dreamy and surreal stories this movie is made for you!

Let's start by saying that, as a manga reader, I expected something more. The original ending, as we know, is very hated among the community, nevertheless I appreciated it and always believed it was fitting for the narrative and the themes covered.
War is a continuous succession, it cannot be stopped, and this is the key philosophy of the entire series. The years pass, people grow, society evolves, but the so-called utopia is all too difficult to achieve.
Complex and nihilistic themes are those that are exposed to us among the numerous internal monologues of the characters. In the final episode, we meet a

weakened Eren, a more human Eren, different from the monster we were used to see. He finally confesses his feelings for Mikasa to his best friend, Armin, and reveals his true plan. He didn't want to reject his humanity, like he did, he just wanted to save his friends. He knew he couldn't stop war, so he created distruction.
Mikasa, contrary to what fans say, achieves her true growth, maturation and balance in this last episode. with the choice to kill Eren, Mikasa renounces her feelings for the common good, finally departing from Eren's character. We see an amazing character development in the last 30 minutes, just for her to return a simp.
talking about the technical department, mappa studio managed to do a magnificent job with the animations, and the soundtrack is extremely impactful. My only flaw is Vogel im kafig that's missing.
Plot: 9/10
Animations: 9/10
Drawings: 8/10
Score: 9/10
Enjoyment: 10/10
From an objective point of view, the episode would deserve a 9, but my heart feels like giving it a solid 10!

"Arte" is probably one of the most beautiful, visually pleasing and meaningful animes I have ever watched. While reading so many negative reviews, I was surprised at how much this series was not well understood by so many people. "Arte" is certainly one ambitious project, which aims to entertain but also reflect.
Let's start with the plot:
Arte Spalletti is a young Florentine noble woman with a passion for drawing. However, she is hindered by her mother and by society in general, which does not accept that a woman of noble origins can become a painter. But Arte doesn't give up, and she finds work
...
in the workshop of a somewhat mysterious artist named Leo, where she will be able to learn more about her passion and work to make her dream come true. The plot is strongly feminist, mostly centered around the main character and her goals, and how hard they are to achieve, and I don't think I've ever seen such a consistent feminist depiction in an anime.
Arte is presented to us as an independent woman with a dream to realize, which however requires many obstacles. However, she does not give up, and continues to move forward so that her ambitions become reality.
Let's say that I found myself a lot in her character, since being an artist myself I can understand all the ambitions she carries. But Arte is not the only thing that makes this anime a true masterpiece; the supporting characters, starting with Caterina, Leo, Yuri and many more, are all perfectly characterized and realistic, and some of them also receive a solid development in the span of few episodes.
The historical Renaissance setting is incredibly accurate and includes numerous details and small curiosities that can be extremely educational for the viewer.
As for the pacing, the whole series is pretty light and never boring, also thanks to the fluid animations and the extremely soft and relaxing color palette.
The OST is extremely pleasant, especially the gorgeous tracks composed by Goro Ito and the relaxing ending.
The whole message of the show is to basically believe in your own art, and most of all, in yourself. Don't let other people define who you are or what you should do, make new experiences, never give up and live your life at the fullest. A truly powerful teaching!
Let's sum it up!
Plot: 10/10
Characters: 8/10
Setting: 10/10
Pacing: 10/10
Animation: 8/10
OST: 9/10
Message: 10/10
In conclusion, this anime absolutely doesn't deserve all of this senseless criticism. The whole work is criminally underrated and many people deserve to see it, especially those who, like me, and as Arte, dream of becoming successful artists.
Keep chasing your dream!
