Great continuation, which significantly elevated the anime in my opinion. This is where the story truly began to take off. Although it still remains somewhat "shallow" (which isn't necessarily a flaw), the anime fully embraced its identity as a new shounen focused on action, flashy visuals, over-the-top scenes, and powerful catchphrases—and it worked really well. It was highly entertaining, to the point of making me genuinely excited for a sequel.
Technically speaking, the anime was outstanding. Excellent work by A-1; the animation was breathtaking, and the insertion of the soundtrack was masterfully done as well. It greatly enhanced the overall experience.
Of course, it remains an anime

One of the most precious anime I've ever watched. It moved me to the point of making me cry right in the first episode.
It tackles a very engaging drama and explores it exceptionally well. Some storylines have already been concluded this season with mastery, while the ongoing ones are being very well developed. It's an anime with immense potential and has everything it needs to be long-lasting. May it be so. The characters, especially the two main ones, are of an extremely high level—deep and believable—and they complement each other perfectly. Truly, this anime did everything to win my heart. And it succeeded! From a technical standpoint, ... Mar 27, 2025

This is the typical anime that captivates me and hooks me right from its premise. Yes, I tend to enjoy sports anime and romance anime more easily, and this anime decided to combine the two. It was a guaranteed goal!
The anime tackles a very complicated theme, the famous love triangle, even though it clearly and quickly decided who would win the protagonist's love. However, even so, the anime manages to create dynamics that lead you to believe it might not be so clear-cut after all. In fact, it’s likely that, like me, you’ll end up rooting for the loser. The characters are really good, like, really ... Mar 22, 2025
Sakamoto Days

A very basic anime, but entertaining. Sakamoto Days doesn't say much in its first season, just that it's an action and comedy anime that will only provide temporary entertainment for 20 minutes. It's honest with its proposal.
The characters work for this proposal and everything is very easy to watch. Technically the anime is OK too, but it's not very demanding, nor is its direction. An anime by Jump usually delivers more, or at least tries to. Sakamoto Days is something extremely common and I honestly can't find any fault with it, but I understand those who watch it. There's not much to evaluate, it's actually difficult, ... Mar 15, 2025

One of the most profound animes I've ever watched!
I feel like I couldn't fully understand this anime. Completely philosophical, dense and with a very interpretative message. The portrayal of a real historical period of our world, addressing themes that are very attractive to me, astronomy and religion, made me fall in love with the anime right away. Full of interesting and profound characters, avoiding the Manichean side that is very common in this type of story. The anime has a special characteristic in its way of telling the story, which is the passage of time. You feel the time of the story passing with each "arc", it's as ... Jan 25, 2025
An anime accompanied by great hype. Not sure if it was justified or not, but the anime is very good, another great work by Science SARU.
There is absurd potential in this anime and the hype cannot have been idle, but I saw flaws and holes that made me take small points off the anime's rating, starting with the lack of objectivity. Clearly the story goes on too long with moments of stutters and jokes that, honestly, it didn't need and that's what ended up making the anime feel convoluted, at least in my opinion. I believe that the final moment of the season reflects ... Jan 23, 2025
It's even difficult to put into words what this anime was like, but here we go.
One of the worst anime I've ever seen in my life. I could end it here but at least this anime has something to talk about. It must be said that the production at least tried, but all they managed to do was ridicule the work. We're unlikely to have any decent anime from Junji Ito's works, unfortunately. Bizarreness was obviously the focus of the anime, but it was difficult not to find it just ridiculous. It didn't engage, it didn't hold, it was obvious and blatant. I even felt shame ... Jan 20, 2025

Unlike the first season, this one managed to hyped me up and captivate me a lot. I believe that because we finally have a real football match, the anime found its strong point. I don't know if it was intentional, but the idea of developing the characters in advance before a real match made a total difference. I've watched a lot of football anime and this season certainly has some of the most exciting matches of all.
Technically the anime is still very weak, especially in the visual aspects. It's not enough but it's compensatory in its keyframes but it clearly makes the anime lose some ... Jan 15, 2025

What a fun anime to watch.
Makeine is one of those animes that shows what it came from in its opening minutes. Its first episode as a whole is very well done and is already captivating to follow the story until the end. The anime very well subverts the clichéd dramas of standard romantic comedies, adding incredible comedy, breaking creative expectations and very well developed characters. There are special episodes in which the quality of the anime increases even further and these are precisely the "climax" episodes of the heroines' dramas. Technically, it's a sublime anime, an incredible work by A-1 Pictures (one more). It will hurt me ... Nov 23, 2024

This is a story with the potential of a Masterpiece, and which very nearly missed it.
This season was a spectacle, episode after episode. I will first comment on the technical aspects and then comment on the story itself. Technically it was a very well-done job. The animation along with the score knew how to elevate the moments of impact at the right dose and the direction itself was a spectacle. The telling of the story, the editing of the episodes, the form of revelations and the ambiance created were done in sublime ways. I'm blown away by A-1 Pictures' work on this anime. One of the ... |
