Love is hard...but do you know why?
[ENG] (TL;DR at the end)
"Sometimes it's better to have nobody, because that way nobody hurts you, nobody deceives you, nobody use you and nobody leaves you..."
Interesting phrase, isn't it? It's funny to imagine that we, beings who were shaped to live in a society, are increasingly inclined to deny this normality in order to live alone and isolated in this world. There are countless reasons why someone might think like that, and if you ended up identifying yourself with that phrase, you know very well what I'm talking about...
You probably have heard that relationships, trust and even love are
...
very complicated matters, but nobody explains why they are so complicated in the first place, since, if we stop to think about it, it is not difficult to trust something or love someone, but the problem is precisely when that pure and sincere feeling is destroyed in our hearts, and finally we learn how painful it can be, opening up wounds in our hearts that will be difficult to heal
Everyone goes through this in life, and some people do what is considered “normal”, which is learn from the mistakes, hold their heads high and try again, but for other people, this destruction is something so painful and traumatic that they end up isolating themselves from everything and everyone, preferring to live alone than risk getting hurt again. And the interesting thing, which is very well explored in the Anime, is that this “isolation” can happen in different ways, either physically locking yourself away from society, or even isolating the feelings inside your heart. This can be seen, in one way or another, in all the characters of the Anime, but let's focus on Kobayashi herself
Despite having “dead fish eyes” that are somewhat terrifying, she is an incredible, intelligent, kind, caring and very reliable person, whether with her colleagues at work or even with Takiya, who is her drinking buddy, and even with all these characteristics, she lives in the same way that we found her at the beginning of the Anime, completely alone
Little is revealed of Kobayashi's past, and even of what her life was like before Tohru appeared, but at various times it shows that she is someone that who got hurt in the past and who is afraid to try again, be the fact that she's only sincere when completely drunk, show that she is a very wise person about life, and that wisdom usually comes with pain, give signs that she had a very lonely childhood, and so on;
But the interesting thing is that, despite being hurt, she did not physically isolate herself from society, as she continues to interact with people and even made a good friend, but rather isolated her feelings, since she keeps all these people at a “safe distance”, that is, close to chat and interact, but never anything else.
That is explored further in the eighth episode, when Tohru realizes this on Kobayashi, gets sad and asks why she doesn't show any kind of affection for her, and Kobayashi finally reveals that:
“Tohru, I’m not used to being wanted, that’s never happened to me before, I don’t have a clue what to do about it...often I think human relationships are just confusing, sometimes I even put distance between mysef and others, I’ve had friends, but never close friends...”
TL;DR
And that is the main message behind the story, it is not to show all Tohru's effort to win Kobayashi's heart, but actually show Kobayashi herself overcoming this fear of getting hurt again, and allowing herself to receive all the love and affection from the people around her. That what's truly complicated in a relationship: isn't to love someone, but is to allow someone to love you

"How to Portrait a True Leader"
[ENG] (TL;DR at the end)
There is a quote by Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) that reflects exactly who this little bluish Slime is, saying that:
"A leader's greatest ability is to develop extraordinary skills in ordinary people"
We are used to this old idea of Good versus Evil, the noble hero on one hand, against the evil villain on the other, and it ended up repeating itself in so many stories throughout our lives that this simplification affected, in a certain way, how we think about this topic. But when we matured and learned the reality of life, we realized that this issue is
...
much more complex than we imagined, and that is what makes Rimuru such an interesting character
Throughout the story, he could have the power just for him, but he always shares it with everyone and everything, he doesn't do things alone, because he prefers to share the glory with his friends, and always gives a fair chance to each one, regardless of race , sex or even past, to have a chance to shine, reflecting on all the characters of the Anime, each of them ended up becoming their best version, they evolved and become better people, actually monsters, all thanks to Rimuru
All races, be the Goblins, Wolves, Dwarves, Ogres, Orcs, Lizardman and even Humans, they do not fear Rimuru because of his powers, but respect him for the person he is
Rimuru isn't just a hero, or an evil villain, but something much more complex, he is a leader, a true leader, and it is by being a great leader, that he has become a great hero
TL;DR
I could recommend this Anime for countless reasons, for its different story, incredible and charismatic characters or even for its great humor, but if you're ready to see what a real leader is, you will see that there is a bluish Slime waiting for you

"The Anime That Will Change Your Life"
[ENG] (TL;DR at the end)
What gets you up in the morning? What motivates you to keep chasing your dreams? What inspires you? As we are humans, beings that are shaped by emotion, this question has countless answers, it could be a story that touched your heart, a memorable situation or event, or a person who changed your life forever...a person...probably someone like that has already appeared in your life, so can you answer how did that person inspire you?
First of all let's present the Anime in question. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, or Your Lie in April, is an
...
Anime produced in 2014 by A-1 Pictures Studios, Naoshi Arakawa's original work, and countless messages are presented in its story in general, either in its plot or with its main characters.
Initially we have Kousei Arima, a boy with dark hair and black glasses that, in a way, highlights his blue eyes. Kousei is a calm, reserved person and, if it weren't for Watari and Tsubaki dragging him around, he would certainly live isolated in his little world.
Tsubaki Sawabe has a delicate and feminine appearance, with short hair that curls at the ends and bright brown eyes, but this does not reflect her personality at all, since, despite being a kind and caring girl with her friends, she has a temperament that is a little too aggressive, even being called “Gorilla” in her childhood.
Ryota Watari is totally the opposite of Tsubaki, because his appearance does reflect the person he is. Outgoing, friendly and always with a smile on his face, he is the captain of the college soccer team, and it is clear that, with all these characteristics, he is very popular, especially with the girls.
The three have lived together almost since they were born, Kousei and Tsubaki are even next door neighbors, and this dynamic between them is shown in the first episode. Kousei is alone in the classroom thinking about his life, until he is approached in a way, not so delicate, by Tsubaki. After a brief talk, Tsubaki invites Kousei to go out in the weekend, because as one of her friends has shown interest and wants to meet Watari, she is not in the mood to be alone while the two get to know each other.
And Kousei, very reluctantly, ended up giving in to this offer, and thanks to having arrived a few moments earlier at the agreed place, he ended up witnessing a scene that would change his life forever, because after finding some black leggings and yellow shoes hanging in a branch, he ends up listening to a sweet sound of a melodica being played and, following this sound, he finds not only some children, but the person responsible for such pleasant music, called Kaori Miyazono.
Kaori is a beautiful girl with blond hair, dark blue eyes and who has an almost opposite personality to Kousei. She is independent, unpredictable, explosive and even aggressive, but above all sincere, in her way of thinking and acting. This meeting is not a coincidence of fate, since Kaori is the friend Tsubaki mentioned before, and the reason they met on that specific day and place is because it is next to Towa Hall, the place where Kaori will perform in a violin competition, since she is a violinist.
Everyone is excited about this news, except one of them, Kousei himself, but before he refuses the offer, he feels a warm touch in his hands, which is precisely from this girl he just met, and she not only drags him like his friends always did during his life, but thanks to that little touch, for a brief moment, his world, which was always monotonous, ended up filling with color.
Considering everything told so far, and the questions addressed at the beginning of the video, you should already have a good idea of what will happen next, but things are never that simple, because as mentioned before, as we are beings that are shaped by emotion, it is very difficult to explain what can inspire us, since besides being something very unique, there are countless different answers to that, but it is right there that Your Lie in April becomes a memorable Anime, which is in the way it presents all these messages, and how it approaches this theme in a very human and real way.
TL;DR
Your Lie in April is a very special Anime for me, and after all presented, I hope you have an answer to the questions raised at the beginning, because I don't have one, and I probably will never have... the only thing I can say is, Kousei and Kaori, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, because you have inspired me in a way that there are no words to describe

How to talk about Suicide with maturity and mastery!
[ENG] (TL;DR at the end)
“You're a crybaby” "Everyone has days like this, this is normal" "You just want to get attention" "You don't know what a real problem is" "Why don't you do it and stop bothering us?" Yes, these are difficult words to hear, especially if we're going through a more delicate phase in our lives. I hope you never suffered from any of them, but if that's the case...let's talk about it?
First of all, let's present the Anime in question. Wonder Egg Priority is a Anime produced in 2021 by CloverWorks Studios, Shinji Nojima's original
...
work, and all of these themes are covered in its history, from its premise to its main characters:
Initially we have Ai Ohto, a girl with blue hair who has heterochromia, meaning that her eyes have a different color from each other, being yellow and blue respectively. In addition, she always wears a yellow hoodie with a large sunflower printed on the front, which in a way represents her cheerful and innocent personality
Soon after there's Neiru Aonuma, a girl with brown skin, dark hair and beautiful green eyes. Her seriousness is not only represented in how she dresses, in this case a gray dress with long sleeves, but in her own expression, rarely showing emotions or even a brief smile
Rika Kawai is almost the total opposite of Neiru and, although her surname actually means "cute", perhaps "eccentric" would be a more accurate description. With a more relaxed and even at times intrusive personality, it is possible to see these traits in her appearance in general, especially in the small pink streak in her blond hair
And last but not least, we have Momoe Sawaki, who despite being a girl, it is difficult for people to identify that at first, either because of her quiet and protective personality, or because she dresses in a more masculine way, almost everyone ends up confusing her gender, especially the girls around her
Even though they are somewhat different from each other, they all met and got together for the same reason, which is precisely the premise of the Anime. In a brief way, they were invited by two mannequins, Acca and Ura-Acca, to buy some unique and different eggs, when they sleep with these eggs, they are transported to their dreams with them, and if they break the egg within that dream, a girl ends up coming out of it, and from that moment, their mission is to save this girl from the monsters that will chase her, which may vary from Seeno Evils, Haters or even Wonder Killers...
A different premise, isn't it? But it all ends up making more sense when we closely observe the messages that the Anime conveys with its story, and when we bring them into our reality, we can understand that it is a delicate and even complicated subject to talk about. Wonder Egg is not just a regular and light story, it is not heavy because it contains things like death, blood or the like, but because talks about the century's greatest evil, called Suicide
It is nothing new that countless works try to explore this theme in their stories, but considering that it is a very unique feeling, rarely is approached in the best way, but the great idea of Wonder Egg was exactly how to incorporate that in its narrative, because instead of focusing only on one side, it ends up showing how this illness affects the world as a whole, whether in the despair and "mental hell" of the person who commits such a terrible thing, and even in the pain and resentment of those who saw it a loved one passing away too soon
TL;DR
Wonder Egg is an incredible Anime, and that is exactly how it manages to approach this topic with maturity and mastery, having the courage to talk about this issue in its entirety, showing that it is a more complex problem than imagined, and showing that, instead of closing our eyes and pretending that this illness does not exist, we need to stand up, get together and face it head on
Bellow there is a video link, entitled “The Message Behind Wonder Egg Priority”, which better analyzes the Anime and its premise as a whole, making this review even more accurate (Please turn on the English Sub for it).

Are you ready to accept your "true self"?
[ENG] (TL;DR at the end)
“I’m sure eveyone has a side of themselves they don’t want other people to see, as long as you don’t try to find it out, you may never see someone’s true self, that’s typically how it is, and, of course, it’s not like it’s any diferente for me” Interesting thought, isn't it? Funny to imagine that everyone is hiding something so important...but what about you? Are you also hiding something that you don't want other people to find out?
Before answering that question let me introduce the Anime itself, Horimiya, or Hori-san and Miyamura-kun, is
...
a Anime produced in 2021 by CloverWorks Studios, original work by HERO, or Hiroki Adachi, and this whole premise is explored in its history in general, especially if we look more closely at its main characters, like Kyouko Hori herself.
Hori is a beautiful, friendly girl with brown eyes and a thin figure, and it is obviously that, with all these characteristics, she is very popular at school, even receiving numerous invitations to go out and have fun after school, however Hori ends up refusing all of them, whether from the boys wanting to get to know her better or even those from Yuki Yoshikawa and Tooru Ishikawa, who are her closest friends in the class, always claiming she doesn't have time and that she needs to go home early
It turns out that Hori hides a certain secret in her life, something that not even her closest friends know the truth, as her parents work a lot and are rarely around, she is practically a housewife, responsible for taking care of all the household chores, be it cooking, washing clothes and cleaning the house, and especially Souta, who is her younger brother. Not that Hori is ashamed of this, but knowing how people see her in high school, she imagines that it wouldn't be well accepted by her classmates, so she ended up choosing to hide this truth and just continues to live like this
Everything went relatively well, until the day when Souta ends up having a small accident returning home, and is rescued by a boy with a look...let's say...different, or unique, if you prefer. As a thanks for the help, Hori and Souta invite the boy to eat and drink something and, after a brief talk, he says that he never imagined that Hori took care of the house and her brother like that. Of course she's confused and shocked by this information, but everything is cleared up when he reveals that he is one of her classmantes in class 3-1, named Izumi Miyamura
Miyamura doesn't draw much attention in the classroom, either because of his appearance in general, with long hair and glasses that hide his face in some way, or even because of his personality, since, for being a quiet and isolating person from the rest of the class, his classmates regard him as someone strange, weird and even somewhat dark. But outside of school his appearance changes completely, by fixing his hairstyle, exposing his nine piercings and wearing different and unique clothes, almost becoming someone else
And, since they ended up discovering their respective secrets, that Hori is a normal and plain housewife, and that Miyamura has a somewhat extravagant appearance outside of school, now the two have something in common, helping them to get to know and get closer and closer to each other
You should already have a good idea of how the story will end up going forward, since it isn't hard to imagine the next chapters of Hori and Miyamura, but the main point of this story isn't what will happen, but how things happen. We all end up hiding our “real self” from the rest of the people, whatever the reasons for that, perhaps for fear of ending up alone, ashamed of who we really are, or even disgust with our reality, all the characters have this idea, and this is exactly where Horimiya presents its main message, which is a magic word, called “Acceptance”.
Like Miyamura himself for example, he realized that he can't change the person he is, or his body, or his personality, if people think he is dark or strange, he can't do anything to change that. He accepted his side that he always tried to hide, accepted the good and the bad of his life, accepted who he really is, and from the moment he accepted his "true self", it allowed other people to accept the real Miyamura as well, allowing him to finally find his place in the world
TL;DR
Horimiya is incredible and was successful for a number of reasons, but for me what made the story so special is exactly that, although we all have a side that we don't want anyone to discover, the more we work to accept and embrace that side, the more we will find people and places that will want to accept it too, making life more and more special
Bellow there is a video link, entitled “How Horimiya Explores the Idea of Maturity”, which better analyzes the Anime and its premise as a whole, making this review even more accurate (Please turn on the English Sub for it).

“I’m always searching for something, this feeling has possessed me for some time, I’m not sure if I’m searching for a person, a place, or something more...I feel like I’m always searching for something, for someone...” Have you ever felt that? Like something inside you says to keep looking, even if you don't know exactly what or who? As if something is missing in your life? Good, let me explain that feeling, and show how lucky you are to feel it...
First of all, let's present the film in question. Kimi no Na wa, or Your Name, is a film produced in 2016 by CoMix Wave
...
Films studios, Makoto Shinkai's original work, and it presents us with very interesting lessons and messages, especially when we analyze its story closely
It all starts in Itomori, a typical countryside city in Japan, where trains run every two hours, stores close at 9 pm, and the only place to have a coffee is at a Vending Machine in the city center. One of the most traditional spots in the city is the Miyamizu Shrine, a shrine run by the Miyamizu family itself, which is cared for by the youngest daughter Yotsuha, grandmother Hitoha and the eldest daughter, and one of the protagonists in the story, Mitsuha
Mitsuha is a kind, organized, supportive and adventurous girl who lives her teens in a relatively normal way, going to school, living with her friends and always helping her family to maintain the Shrine 's traditions, but that doesn't mean she is happy or even satisfied with this situation, be tired of the peaceful life of the countryside, the complicated relationship with her father or how her classmates comment on her work at the shrine, Mitsuha hates the city and her reality, even going so far as to wish to be a beautiful boy from Tokyo in her next life
After exposing her great desire to the universe, she goes through a situation, at least, unusual, because the very next day, she ends up having a very real dream, waking up in a completely new room, in a new city and, most strange, in a new body. After absorbing all these news, she learns that this body belongs to Taki Tachibana, a boy of her age who lives in Tokyo and has a busy routine in the big city
Confused by that and excited to finally be in Tokyo, Mitsuha takes this opportunity to “use” this dream and explore the big city and everything it has to offer. Be it walking in the busy downtown streets, going to school, eating wonderful sweets in a real cafe and even working as a waiter in an Italian restaurant. Despite this "dream" being longer than usual, Mitsuha took advantage of every second of it, since, for a brief moment, it was the fulfillment of her great desire
But, as the days go by, she discovers that this “dream” is more real than she imagined, since this is not happening only with Mitsuha, but with Taki himself. Whatever the reason, they end up switching bodies on random days over the weeks, and every time she stays in his body and lives his life, Taki also stays in her body and lives her life. And the plot of the story basically goes like this, with Taki learning to behave and live with Mitsuha's body, and Mitsuha learning to behave and live with Taki's body, ensuring that they don't cause any major problems in their lives and for the people around, which is obviously not an easy task
The interesting thing about Kimi no Na wa is exactly how it explores this theme, and presents us with another very interesting point of view on the subject, especially with this idea of exchanging bodies between Taki and Mitsuha, since yes, we can grow and evolve by ourselves, and the ideal is to continue doing that for the rest of our lives, but due to our nature, and because we are human, if we continue this journey completely alone, eventually we will find a barrier in our lives, because, alone, we can only grow to a certain port, up to a certain half, since the other half that will be empty cannot be filled by ourselves
Kimi no Na Wa is full of incredible messages and lessons, and the main one is to show that yes, we can grow and live alone, but when we're with the right person, the person that fate has already chosen for us and who connected us through the Red Thread of Fate, finally we can see how wonderful life can be
Bellow there is a video link, entitled “The True Message in Kimi no Na wa/Your Name”, which better analyzes the Anime and its premise as a whole, making this review even more accurate (Please turn on the English Sub for it).

Are you ready for the true terror?
Fear...a word that, like Love, defines us as human beings, countless Animes try to evoke in us this extreme feeling during its history, whether with horrifying monsters, desperate situations or even surreal disastersbut there is another effective way in causing that unpleasant feeling... so, are you ready to discover what the real terror is?
First of all, let's present the Anime in question, Yakusoku no Neverland, or The Promised Neverland, is a Anime produced in 2019 by CloverWorks Studios, Kaiu Shirai's original work, and it presents us with a very interesting and, even different, plot than we are used to
Right
...
off the bat we're introduced to the Grace Field House, a sort of orphanage that's surrounded by a large forest, with a vast green field on all sides and a great internal structure, whether with food, clean clothes and even the best education to offer, is the perfect place for its residents, children up to twelve years old, to grow and develop in the best possible way. Within this group of children, three of them deserve a special mention, which are precisely the oldest in the house:
Initially we have Emma, an energetic and cheerful girl who takes care of her siblings with great affection and behaves like the older sister of them all
Norman is not as cheerful as Emma, but he's also affectionate with all the other residents, always showing to be a chill person
And Ray is almost like a lone wolf, not that he has trouble getting along with others, but he always prefers to be in his own space
In addition of being very close friends, the three stand out due to their unusual intelligence, like Emma who can learn and adapt to new things quickly, Ray with his ability to plan and solve any problem that appears to him, or Norman who is smarter than all the other children in the orphanage combined, they always record the highest grades of all the tests, making them very special children
And, to ensure that they're growing healthy and in the right way, there could be none other than "Mama" Isabella for this position, responsible not only for doing and supervising all the daily tasks of the orphanage, but also serving as a true mother for all of them, doing everything so that they develop in this very important phase of life that is childhood
The differential of this Anime is precisely in the way it presents its story, because at no time is it being told exclusively to us who're watching, the story has already started and has been happening for a long time, and it is up to us to find out what is happening in this universe together with the characters, making this distance between the Anime itself and us on the other side of the screen almost non-existent
So you know what the real terror is? It is not discovering that the devil exists, but discovering that the devil is watching you all the time, getting closer, and closer and closer...he is in no hurry, he will catch you, but seeing you in agony without knowing when it will happen, is one of the greatest pleasures he can feel...
Bellow there is a video link, entitled “The True Terror in The Promised Neverland”, which better analyzes the Anime and its premise as a whole, making this review even more accurate (Please turn on the English Sub for it).

How to create "Perfect Characters"
A "Perfect Character", what came to your mind when you heard that? Maybe a character who taught you valuable lessons about life, maybe someone who inspired you to be a better person, or even someone with flaws and difficulties that you can identify with...but that's it? Are there any other ways to create a memorable character? Yes, of course there is, and it's a way that you've probably never seen before...
Let's analyze the Anime in question, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo, or simply Konosuba, is an Anime produced in 2016 by Studio Deen, Natsume Akatsuki's original work, and it presents
...
us with very interesting cases, especially when we talk about its main characters
It all starts with Kazuma Satou, a normal boy who lives isolated from the world and society, to the point of spending all his days locked in his room playing video games. One day he decides to leave home to buy an exclusive game, but on his way back, he ends up acting without thinking and saves a girl from a fatal crash, costing his own life in the process
After his death, he meets a beautiful goddess called Aqua, who is responsible for helping and guiding all of Japan's recently deceased souls to their next steps. Aqua says Kazuma's options are reincarnation to his old world or go to heaven, where his soul would be wandering in peace. As both options aren't so attractive, Aqua suggests a third alternative, which is to go to an RPG world, to try to kill the Demon King and become a great her
Kazuma ends up accepting the offer and, choosing Aqua herself as a companion in this new venture, they're sent to the city of Axel, with a new life and a great mission ahead. Facing all the monsters in this world is no easy task, so Kazuma and Aqua quickly try to recruit new members to create a powerful party and improve their chances of success, and they initially manage to recruit a small and powerful mage, called Megumin
Megumin is a descendant of the Crimson Demons, powerful humanoids who are very intelligent and familiar with magic, and this reflects in her own class, which is ArchWizard, one of the best classes for offensive magicians. With all her potential, she can use one of the strongest spells of all, Explosion, which is able to evaporate and destroy everything with its power. The recruitment doesn’t stop there, because soon after a new partner appears to strengthen the party, a blonde, beautiful and strong woman called Darkness
Darkness is a noble warrior with tremendous physical strength, and that not only shows in her appearance and armor, but in her own class Crusader, another advanced class for warriors and especially those who focus on hand-to-hand combat, presenting great potential for attack and defense. Her resistance is so high that she can not only withstand almost all the blows and spells in this world, but even resists Megumin's Explosion
And now with his small party of the most incredible members, an Archpriest focused on healing and support in Aqua, an ArchWizard with offensive spells in Megumin and a Crusader with enough physical strength to protect the entire group in Darkness, it seems that the mission of Kazuma is going to be simpler than he imagined
With everything so far, you should already have a good idea of why they can be considered "perfect"...but I'm sorry to tell you that it isn't for the reasons you imagined, the interesting thing is that all of them weren't created to be perfect, at least not in the way we are used to, because the characters that we consider perfect have something in common: they have the intention of pleasing the public. When we create characters in a story, we make and shape them so that they’re accepted and received by the general public, but in Konosuba they weren't created to please us, to tell the truth they don't even care about it, they just want to be themselves
So the characters are just themselves and have fun, allowing the Voice Actors to also have fun, and consequently allowing us who watch to have fun together with all of them, and that is the reason they're perfect characters
Bellow there is a video link, entitled “How Konosuba created Perfect Characters”, which better analyzes the Anime and its premise as a whole, making this review even more accurate (Please turn on the English Sub for it).

Should we be embarrassed of our teens?
Are you familiar with the term “Eight-grade Syndrome?” It refers to a frightening, yet charming ‘disease’ that second-year middle schoolers are said to cacth during puberty. With a developing self-consciouness and their childish imaginations still intact, they often adopt strange mannerisms and, as you can see, it becomes something too embarrassing to remember...and that’s exactly the premisse of this Anime, I hope you’re ready
First of all let's present the Anime in question, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai, or Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, is an Anime produced in 2012 by Kyoto Animation Studios, Torako's original work (and as I
...
couldn't find a photo, here's a photo of Rikka, isn't she cute?), and it explores this 'disease', which in Japan is called Chuunibyou, through its main characters
Right off the bat we're introduced to Yuuta Togashi, one of the students who suffered from this disorder during his last years at school. Like dressing differently, speaking as if he were a Manga character and even carrying toy guns and swords, going by the name “Dark Flame Master”, and let's say he doesn't remember that phase of his life so fondly, to the point that not only is he ashamed of these memories, but now in high school he decided to move to a school away from home, in an attempt to have a new start and a normal life
Everything was going well on his first day, there was no one who recognized him in his new classroom and he even managed to make some friends, but the universe was saving some surprises for Yuuta, as his Chuunibyou past would come back to haunt his life, all thanks to one of her new classmates, called Rikka Takanashi
Rikka is a cute little girl with blue hair and, unlike Yuuta, she's experiencing this phase with all her strength, whether how she dresses, wearing an eye patch and bandages on her arms, or even in her way of speaking and to act, saying that she is "born from the darkness and needs to keep an eye out so as not to let her mana destroy the people around her ", even calling herself "Wielder of the Wicked Eye". The surprises don't stop there, since Rikka not only knew Yuuta because she's his upstairs neighbor, but she's a great admirer of him, actually, of the "Dark Flame Master"
Obviously this's one of the worst scenarios that Yuuta could imagine, so he tries to do everything to "silence" Rikka and try to prevent his shameful past from being discovered by the rest of the school, but of course that doesn't work, since not only does Rikka get closer to her great admirer every day, but she even introduces her friend and “servant of chaos” Sanae Dekomori, who also knew the famous magician “Dark Flame Master”, ensuring that these shameful memories of his past would all return
Yeah...unusual story, isn't it? But if we bring to our reality, not so much, since everyone, or most of us, go through this phase in our lives. When we're in the process of maturing and we still have the trends and values of when we were children, we try to escape normality and live in our own fantasy world, where we're incredible, unique and special, who never wanted to be a superhero or a superheroine right?
However, despite being a relatively common thing to happen, when we look back and remember this moment so unique in our lives, there is a great chance that we will feel ashamed of who we were and, like Yuuta, try to hide and pretend that this phase never really happened
Chuunibyou is a very interesting Anime, because in the end, do you know what is the reason we are so ashamed of this past? Nothing, in fact, we should be ashamed of ourselves for thinking that way, because in this phase of life, we were true to ourselves and our passions, and that's something we end up losing when we get older
So why not? Why not try to escape normality? Why not try to bring all that passion back? The world around us is becoming more and more gray and lifeless, so maybe we do need to revisit these memories, maybe we need to imagine ourselves as a superhero or a superheroine again, because these are the people who will be able to fill the world, full with colors

How the world can destroy our individuality...
“Listen, I asked you not to fall in love with me before, and you know why? Because I hate myself, and I can't be with someone who loves something that I hate so much...so don't love me, that way I can keep loving you” Yes, it's with this powerful phrase that we're going to talk about one of my favorite Animes, so sit back and relax, because we have a lot to talk about...
Bloom Into You, or Yagate Kimi ni Naru, is an Anime produced in 2018 by TROYCA studios, Nio Nakatani's original work, and addresses my favorite genre,
...
called Shoujo Ai, which focuses on the relationship between two women, and it's precisely here where the story starts
Right off the bat we met Yuu Koito, a girl who has always surrounded herself with countless works that talk about love, be it books, mangas and even music, that word has always been present in her life. After entering high school, she's recruited by her teacher to help the student council in their activities and, during this walk, she ends up encountering a confession of love right before her eyes, and to her surprise, the girl not only ends up rejecting such confession, but she's a member of the student council, called Touko Nanami
Touko, besides being a year older than Yuu, is incredible in all aspects, tall, beautiful, intelligent and future candidate for president of the council, no matter how you look, she shines before the eyes of all students, and the rejection witnessed by Yuu is nothing new, since entered high school, she has received more than 10 confessions of love, whether from men or even women, but no one has been successful, because according to Touko herself “none of them made my heart flutter”
Touko shows the student council to Yuu and all the tasks they perform on a day-to-day basis, proving that she's a very caring Senpai, to the point that Yuu not only agrees to actually help the council, but is the person to ask for advice regarding her latest problem, because a month ago at her graduation, Yuu ended up receiving her own confession of love!
That sounds wonderful, doesn't it? For someone surrounded by the word “love” and who heard all the incredible stories related to the subject, she knew that, when her time came, it would be as if she were flying in the clouds, however, when that happened, it was quite the opposite, since her feet were firmly on the ground
Touko not only comforts her new friend, but when Yuu says that she also “didn't feel her heart flutter”, she holds her hand, says that everything will be all right and gives the necessary courage so that Yuu finally gives her final denial. Feeling as if a big weight came off her shoulders, the moment she turns to thank Touko for her help, she not only pulls her closer, but ends up confessing to Yuu, saying that, for the first time, someone made her heart “explode like fireworks”
Confusing, isn't it? But the confusion has just started...later Yuu ends up questioning whether Touko's confession is real, and she ends up not only confirming that, but turns and kisses Yuu in the middle of the street, stealing her first kiss. And even more confused, because once again her heart didn't flutter as she expected, Yuu decides to be sincere with Touko and says that she cannot have the same feelings for her, and Touko only says that:
"Yuu, don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to love me, because I know you can't feel that for someone...even so, can I love you?"
Yes, a real mess, but that's exactly the intention behind Bloom Into You, and everything starts to make sense when we look at the real message behind it. There is a reason why this Anime, and especially the Manga, is considered by many to be the best work of its genre, since the genre itself is not the main focus of the story, it only uses the Shoujo Ai elements to deliver its real message, which is about knowing yourself, knowing who you really are, showing how we're pressured to love and how we have a wrong image of what “real love” is
Whether we like it or not, we are shaped by the people around us or by the environment in which we live, and it's scary when we finally realize it that, after living for so long, this person we have become is just a sum of what everyone thinks of us or simply because of the world around us. Want to see how? Can you answer this simple question:
"Who are you?"
