JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Season 1

I finally finished JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Season 1 after dropping it three times. The first part, Phantom Blood, felt pretty average. The story didn’t grab me, and Jonathan Joestar, the main character, was a bit too straightforward to keep me hooked.

Things got better in the second part, Battle Tendency. Joseph Joestar brought some much-needed energy with his cleverness and humor, making it more enjoyable. The battles got more exciting too, and the lore around the Joestar family started to get interesting.

The art style is unique—bold and over-the-top, just like the show itself. It’s not always the smoothest animation, but it ... has its moments.

Overall, Season 1 had some highs and lows. If you can push through the slow start, it might be worth it, especially if you’re into shounen anime with a lot of flair. I’m hoping the next seasons pick up the pace.

My Hero Academia Season 2 offers a solid and enjoyable experience with a rating of 7/10. While it doesn't quite reach the legendary status of Naruto, it still stands out as a good shounen anime with its gripping story, well-developed characters, and impressive animation.

The plot delves into deeper themes and explores moral dilemmas, which adds depth to the overall narrative. The character development is commendable, allowing both main and supporting characters to shine and evolve throughout the season.

Although the animation and art style are impressive, they might not reach the same level as some top-tier shows like Naruto. However, the fight scenes are still engaging ... and visually appealing.
