I started reading this manhwa after getting a recommendation from Youtube and oh boy am I glad I did.
The manga market is saturated with isekai and the manhwa is saturated with stories containing towers, hunters and a game like level up system. So, it is a breath of fresh air when you get something different.
If I had to draw a parallel, Barbarian Quest resembles the first arc of Vinland Saga and maintains that hype throughout. But its not only a manhwa with bloody battles, the MC even talks actively about the meaning of life.
Story-10
The story might feel kinda slow paced in parts where
...
the characters talk about the nobles or different religions but imo that is when it shines the most as the world resembles Europe around 1400s or 1500s, so the world building is downright amazing.
Art-10
The art is stunning for a manhwa. Every scenery looks picturesque especially the evening scenes with the orange hue and the whole manhwa looks as if its printed in 4K. The attention to detail on chain mail and armors of old times is breathtaking.
Character-10
The progression of our MC just within the first 50 chaps had been really good. Going from an active warrior, which he still is, to a person who wants to explore the world and learn everything. Going from a fearless man, to a man who accepted a religion so that his soul doesnt wander the earth for an eternity. The side characters also get substantial development.
Enjoyment-10
The story is very enjoyable. And also liked the part where people follow different religions and follow different beliefs but the MC respects everyone. The MC is a mercenary leader who is strong but not OP. He has won against multiple opponents 1 on 1 but once he fought against a strong company of soldiers with coordinated attacks and heavy armor, they gave a very tough time to the MC, almost killing him.
Overall-10
This manhwa is worth reading based on its worldbuilding alone. Yes, they still live in a time where the flat Earth theory was widely accepted and they are now going to go on an expedition to discover the Asian mainland. The story is adventurous and coupled that with good characters, what you get is nothing short of a masterpiece.

So, Netflix again dumped all 12 episodes at once, but oh boy, it sure was one hell of a ride. From exploring the shows best character Lunatic in detail, to showing the growing tension between Next and Non-Next, to Kotetsu finally using the last remnants of his power and quitting as a superhero, Tiger and Bunny 2 Part 2 was a blast. Another thing which I liked was how Barnaby's injury was explored upon properly, being an athlete myself, its always frustrating to hear that you will be benched indefinitely until you get the thumbs up from the doctor. Barnaby looks like he is headed
...
for an early retirement if he continues to use his powers at this rate, but whenever the situation demanded for it, he made sure to deliver.
The show maintained the similar atmosphere as earlier seasons with perfect blend of action and comedy and most importantly understanding where and when it needed to be serious or funny. The soundtrack has always been great. Now, coming to the villains, all of their interactions were great, and their powers were honestly pretty overpowered and varied, from controlling other people to making Nexts go on rampages to a freaking All Might, combined with a prison outbreak, everything was a treat for the eyes.
Now, what the show was missing was more info about Ouroboros, all we know is that they are a secret organization, thats all, the main villain, although working under them, was operating independently according to her own ideals, so the goal and ambitions of Ouroboros is still not clear, although their influence was aptly displayed as they have people all over the police force and even ministers were involved. A next season might clear things if there is ever one. Although the show reached a perfect climax like situation, as we saw Tiger and Barnaby's portrait at the end hung in Hero's Museum for the Buddy system, so the future looks uncertain, but lets hope there is a new season.

Now this manhwa right here is the literally embodiment of the word "Badass". The story just gets your blood pumping with all the insane action sequences.
Story-10
A revenge story slowly starts becoming bigger and better as time goes on. Also the creators plan on introducing more Individuals with special powers in different manhwas and then interconnect those stories, (probably like Ylab has already done with their own universe) Rooftop Sword Master is just the first installment in the series, we have a long way to go.
Art-10
The creators of Boss in school were responsible for this manhwa, expect some top notch art.
Character-10
I mean if the main
...
character is literally the Hulk with a massive Guts-like sword with Mjolnir like powers, you know that you have stumbled upon a gem.
Enjoyment-10
Thoroughly enjoyed it, although some people werent happy that around chapter 40, we discover MC wasnt only the one with special powers, but imo it helped a lot in World-building.
Overall-10
Give it a go, you surely wouldnt regret it, a short and good read.

Kinda surprised this webtoon has no reviews till now. An emotional thriller which pays off if you make it through the first 10 chaps which might be slow for some readers but imo helps in excellently establishing the environment in which our MC grew up. So, lets break down and analyze this webtoon-
Story-10
The strongest part of this webtoon is its story which not only progresses smoothly but also surprises you with the twists in a certain incident which took place in the beginning.
Art-9
Art is great dont get me wrong, also the Dark Mortals look absolutely badass, just deducted one point as I found some
...
backgrounds to be pretty basic with not that much detail.
Action-9
Although this series has action, its more of a story driven webtoon. The action, although sometimes confusing, is quick and on to the point, no bs powerups or anything.
Character-10
All the characters get substantial development from the first time they are introduced, no character was left or forgotten. They all had their character arcs which tied up nicely in the epilogue.
Enjoyment-10
Certainly enjoyed reading this. It was heartbreaking to see MC lose a lot of important things in his life at a young age, but slowly gaining them back as he grew up and choosing his family over revenge finally cemented this emotional rollercoaster as one of my favorites.
Overall-10
I am sure if people read this through to the end, its score will be a lot better, than a mere 7.22 at the moment, if you are looking for a story at a grand scale, this is not it, this is a story about a person who slowly finds meaning in life and gets a reason to live after losing everything.

If I had to describe this manga in one line, it would be-
A pretty decent fantasy set-up which is slightly similar to Overlord for now with revenge elements.
Story-8:
The story although not being that deep still has a strong establishment where a former Sage with the Hero, who subjugated the Demon Lord are killed ruthlessly by humans as they were suspected of becoming the next Demon Lord and were pushed into the Valley of the Dead to die. The hate for humans burned deeply in Sage's heart, enough for him to become a skeleton and gain massive power in the process, although the hero was
...
already dead. So, he resolves to bring "True Peace" to the world to make humans realize how wrong their concept of peace is and one day to also resurrect the Hero, the only person he cared about in the world. He brings with him an army of undead and announces himself as the next Demon Lord to the World and starts to lay waste to human's armies gaining some trustworthy allies in the process.
Art-7:
Art is pretty good for now, although it has potential to become even better. Some double panel spreads have been amazing.
Character-6:
To be honest, except the Sage, and his subordinates, not many people have been given enough screen time to develop their characters, although with the appearance of a new Hero, things are looking interesting.
Enjoyment-7:
Although, his revenge was short-lived as the former Sage destroyed the country, which killed him and hero the off, in a single chapter. His motivation of becoming the demon lord to annex human territories to bring about true peace has been pretty enjoyable until now. Most of the battles have been pretty one-sided except for the time when he fought with a former imprisoned archer who eventually became his subordinate. Also, as of writing this, 11 chapters have been released, and the chapter ends on a cliffhanger, where he gets ready to face off against the new Hero, so this battle might also pose a threat to him as the Hero uses Holy magic and being an Undead Demon Lord, his attacks would be super effective against him.
Overall-7:
This might be too early to judge this manga, but seeing how much potential this manga has on top of getting more and more views, I think that it might become the next big thing and even receive an anime adaptation if it continues to build up upon its story. Last but not the least, am truly glad that this aint an isekai, too many of them on the market, bruh.

Surprised to see this manga has got no reviews when it is pretty similar to Mieruko chan, which has already received an anime adaptation. Both of these series have Horror elements plus a tinge of yuri comedy here and there. Moreover, Mieruko chan focuses on the supernatural whereas this manga focuses on a more "grounded" approach for looming threats.
Story-8
So coming to the premise, the MC can see premonitory corpses and the time of the death of a person one day prior. So what does she do? She goes around telling people that they are gonna die tomorrow but saves them in the nick
...
of time, almost every time which has caused her to earn the ire of her classmates and attaining the moniker of "Liar Satsuki". But you might be wondering why isnt she called a hero then? If she saves people? Pretty simple actually, it depends on the circumstances.
Be it saving a person from a football coming to crash into the window to cause its splinters to impale someone's neck or a signboard falling at an angle which beheads a person, our MC never gives up. The deaths might be outrageous, but you can see that the mangaka has some medical knowledge, as MC's father is a doctor and also her attempts at saving a kid who was choking were pretty accurately depicted.
Art-6
Art is pretty mediocre if I am being brutally honest but it isnt like its un-readable or anything. Slowly but surely the quality of art is also improving with upcoming chapters.
Character-8
Now, this is where the manga shines, the characters are different and all have a role to play in the story with sprinkles of character development. MC probably has a regret when she chose not to use her power to save someone in the past leading to her "overly-good" nature of saving everyone. Also, one of the closest person to her is actually quite mysterious and I might just be speculating at this point but I think averting her death might have a negative impact on the story later on.
Enjoyment-7
All in all the story has been setup in a terrific way for now, although it has still not capitalized on its full potential in my opinion.
Overall-7
The pros of the manga have been that it has been quite enjoyable until now with little twists along the way. Some mysterious characters have been introduced and the story is looking to take an interesting turn recently as her power was not able to correctly identify the time of death of the corpse and also for the first she saw her own premonitory corpse. So, this manga has massive potential to become something bigger.
Although some cons which I found out were that her school is too dangerous of a place if there are premonitory corpses appearing on a daily basis and also no explanation about her obtention of such a power has been touched upon till now but I'm sure that it will be explained in the future. Also, in the earlier chapters, no boys were present so I thought it might be an all girls school but recently a major male character was introduced to establish it as an co-ed.

So I had given this manga a rating of 9 earlier. What exactly happened to make its score drop to a 5, you might be wondering. Well, thats the point nothing happened, the story just became repetitive, bland and the MC just had a deus ex machina relic when it looked like he was in a pinch. Also a random mercenary like him was made the leader of a contingent of trained space troops. Hmm, yes he was successful in completing a couple of missions so he could've been hired as a tactical advisor but to straightaway make him the interim leader is a bit...
What
...
I liked about this manga was its initial premise, it looked very promising as it was a pretty unique isekai out there with sci-fi elements in the horde of hundreds of isekai which have magical fantasy.
Story-4
Doesnt, really have a plot, had massive potential at the beginning but failed to build up upon it.
Character-5
The characters initially looked like they had depth to them but it just turned out to be another isekai where the girls just fall head over heels for the MC after making eye contact. Well, atleast the MC aint dense or a virgin, so thats the plus point.
Art-5
The art is pretty basic but the background designs could have used some work.
Enjoyment-6
I had liked its initial premise so I read more of its chapters only to later realize that it was skipping a ton of content from LN, to make it concise. I know the whole LN cant be adapted as it is in manga format but if we got a better insight about the different types of battleships, it would've been a lot better.
Overall-5
The manga started out good but soon turned mediocre, we can only wait for the future chapters to see if the story improves or remains the same bland mess it has become.

So, I felt compelled to write my first review on MAL after I saw so many fans bashing on AoT's last chapter for different reasons-some legit while some non-sensical.
Could the ending have been better? Definitely.
Was it the worst ending ever? Definitely Not.
I tried my best to keep this review spoiler free, but I guess there are slight spoilers for the last chapter so I apologise in advance.
I feel like Eren's character was the most tragic in the series. He changed and also did not change at the same time after he saw everything when he kissed Historia's Hand. He had to do what
...
he did for achieving peace, be it a temporary one. I also felt that the ending was realistic and most fitting. Wars, unfortunately cannot be erased completely. Where there is a society, there are bound to be conflicts. Humans have different viewpoints on various matters, they clash with each other for glory, land, money, religion, race and for anything and everything. The ending might feel Lelouch-ish, but if you notice Eren's character closely over the whole series, you will notice that the last chapter brought his character to a full circle. Everything went according to Eren's plans, in which he accounted for the happiness for the people closest to him while disregarding himself and majority of the people outside Paradis. Some things might have been explained better if the ending was stretched out in 2 or 3 chapters. Also Eren's conversation with Armin was heart-wrenching and beautiful at the same time.
Also, the criticism which I felt legit for the last chapter by most of the people in the reviews is that Stockholm Syndrome....seriously, Isayama-san, I think he could have done better with this one or could have just not included this in an otherwise masterpiece of a story. And the foreshadowing actually turned out to be true in the end about Helos and the Devil. The Great Titan War's history just repeated itself.
The bitter truth that those who died can never be brought back was portrayed again in the end. Levi's character was probably the best in the series and that was shown again in the last chapter. And it was great to see Armin and gang again after another time-skip. Felt sad for Mikasa though, but we all need to move on in life, we might get attached or shackled to a person or a moment, but we cannot live without moving on. Also the Yeagarists preparing for a possible retaliation from the world in the future just showcased for humans how transient the concept of peace is.
And moreover, people think that Eren is a simp just due to 1 panel, the last chapter’s main goal was to establish Eren as both a monster and a human, even he wanted to live a long and peaceful life with his friends and family but he knew the weight of the sins he carried, he regretted his actions but still moved forward for a brighter future for Paradis and established peace (no matter how temporary it might be or at what lengths he has to go to achieve this peace)
But, its also a fact that the first 123 chapters were just peak fiction, after that the story went sorta downhill but still stabilized by the end. People are rating the WHOLE manga based on the last chapter. We must not forget how thrilling "Return to Shiganshina" and "Attack on Marley" arcs were, also the Paths scene of Eren and Zeke was absolute genius. So, I think its sorta unfair to rate a whole manga just based on your feelings for the last chapter.
And due to some mistranslations, people have misunderstood that scene about Eren's mother in the last chapter, so I implore you to please read the chapter from the official site for accurate translations. Also the last 3 panels of this chapter were just for symbolism and not to be taken at face value.
Well, keeping that aside, I felt that the last chapter was fine, not exceptional by any means but not entirely terrible that people have started giving the whole manga a 1 or 2. Many promising series have had bleak or downright terrible endings like The Promised Neverland, Demon Slayer, Death Note, Bleach, Naruto, Mirai Nikki, Erased, Seven Deadly Sins, etc. But in my honest opinion, Attack on Titan's last chapter was okayish, could have been better and I might change my score from a 10 to a 9 later on.
What I have noticed is that most of the people expected some massive plot twist or a time travel or a time loop thingy or everyone dying in the last chapter, they wanted the story to go their way but when it didnt, they started hating on it.
So, now, felt very sad after the last chapter, it was bitter-sweet, left a void in my heart. I will try to read other mangas and watch other anime but I havent been able to find anything close to AoT at the moment. One Piece and Jojo have been pretty good at the moment and have been able to partially fill the void left by Attack on Titan. Thanks for this masterpiece, Isayama-san and thanks for reading my long review.
