Honestly, this show needs more recognition. Four episodes into the anime, I found that this show is incredibly relaxing and heartwarming.
I'm actually more of a dog person but what sold me on this show was how it tells its story. Each episode is told in two perspectives of both the human and the cat, making it very enjoyable to view the different perspectives of the same situation. A lot of anime rely on the same formula to create episodes that are suspenseful, leaving viewers to desire the next. “My Roommate is a Cat” actually breaks away from this formula, making it a refreshing show

Honestly, the show is very enjoyable if you like action in general. The show mainly focuses on the action rather than the story, where the story is not hard to comprehend at all. To me, that's a good thing, where it doesn't try to overcomplicate things. I would definitely take this over the original Sword Art Online storyline any day.
The sound is great, where it really complements the action scenes. The music is also enjoyable, where the EP is easily one of my favorites. Characters are whatever, I only really liked the MC (Karen) and her friend (Miyu). The art was good, for the ... |
