Story: 5
I personally thought Tanya the Evil was a good show. It is far from perfect however it falls short because of its "mediocre" story in my opinion. That might be because I just don't enjoy war stories but seeing how it progressed and how it attempted to push these sudden changes for no reason made me see the overall product and unsatisfactory. However saying this the story did have some moments were it had me thinking and staying up watching the show.

The art was fair its what I expected seeing the anime's picture and certain screenshots. The animation was lackluster with

fights which I didn't really like however some "gun" fights and kills were pretty good. The attention to detail however with some major scenes didn't allow me to really feel what the creators wanted me to feel I guess...
Sound: 7
In regards to sound it was good the control of fighting with gun shots and voices were well balanced. The opening was good I enjoyed but ended up skipping near the end. However that might of been because I didn't really like hearing it overplayed. The magic casting sounds were good as well but not perfect.
Character: 9
Overall: The only character I would really highlight is Tanya due to her having the most impact and her progression being the thing that drives the plot. She was a very strange character. No unique is a better word. She was portrayed as evil however if you look into it at a more "person against the word idea" you can see he/she had good reasons. She doesn't really fall out of character and if she "does" she is joking and supporting the characters with the conversation making nice warm feeling scenes. Overall she is a great character and her progression is presented almost perfectly in 12 episodes.
Enjoyment: 5
I didn't really enjoy that much of Tanya the evil mainly because the plot didn't do for me. I just didn't really like watching because I felt as if the show could of done with more episodes to further development certain things with I felt forced which broke my concentration with enjoyment of the show. Furthermore I didn't like how certain things were explained rather then showed which did heavily impacted the score I am giving it.

Overall Tanya the evil is an alright show. Some moments stick out more then others and Tanya has some major moments where the anime provides you with certain thoughts making it impactful and memorable. However it doesn't do this much for me and I didn't really feel what I thought I was gonna feel going in to it. Its a good show however could of done things a little bit differently to make a more impactful show in my opinion.
