"If it's true love, I'm prepared to even accept expulsion." -Kaguya Shinomiya
I originally was never the biggest fan of Romance animes, but that all changed a year ago when I saw the first season of Love is War. Here we are a year and a half later and the second season of Love is War has now officially finished airing. Needless to say, the new season of Love is War is now officially my favorite Comedy/Romance anime up to this day, and it has a really good reason for why it has claimed that spot.
Even though "Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2" is mainly considered
...
a Comedy/Romance, the anime sure has a few scenes in which it completely doesn't feel that way. In this new season, we are faced with a couple serious moments where the tone of the anime is completely changed and headed towards a more emotional and psychological journey for some of the "other" main characters. We are eventually introduced to Miko Iino, whom is the kohai of our main protagonists and whom eventually also becomes one of the main protagonists in this new season. I'm not going to give any major spoilers in this review but, her past experiences with her emotions, turned her into the person with the ideologies that she has today. "Dealing with ones past" seems to be a major theme for the story of this new season, and it's exactly this relatability that makes it so good for the audience to enjoy.
Of course "Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2" is still all about clever comedy with well-timed punchlines, and let me tell you that in this new season of Love is War, it is still done incredibly well! I honestly don't think that any other anime has made me laugh more than the first season of Love is War, but then the second season released and I gotta admit that this new season has proably even made me laugh more than the first, since it has some incredibly funny moments. My only complaint is that some material that I found hilarious from the manga wasn't included in the anime, but that still doesn't change the fact that with the material that it does have, has been implemented incredibly well.
Just like the first season, the art and animation is phenomenal. Sadly we didn't get another ED like the Chika dance from the first season (probably since they blew all their budget on this one ED lmao). Other than that, there isn't much to say about the art in terms of animation, but I'm glad that the same great quality from the first season carried over onto this second season.
Overall, I'm giving the second season of Love is War a well-deserved 10/10! It was well worth the 1 year wait! It does absolutely everything right by keeping the same amazing humor quality from the first season and at the same time by also making things exciting with the new unique story and characters. <3

SHORT SPOILER FREE REVIEW:
Ever since I saw the first trailer a month and a half ago I've been eagerly waiting for this movies release and boy was it worth the wait! Whenever Netflix produces either anime series or movies, it's either an instant hit or miss and let me tell you that Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu definitly is a solid hit and probably even the best anime movie released so far this year (that is if we don't count the North American release of Tenki no Ko, which is arguably a worthy contender).
The movie follows the story of Miyo Sasaki and how she
...
transformed into a cat in order to get closer to Kento Hinode, the guy for whom she has a crush on. I'm going to avoid mentioning any spoilers in this review, but let me say that that's just the surface of the movie. Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu deals with the emotional and romantic topics really well and this could easily be seen through this movies amazing storyline. I originally thought that the story would just be your average school romance, with a slight twist (since our protagonist can turn into a cat), but it's actually way deeper than just that.
The art style is also one of the best that I've seen in not only anime movies this year, but also anime in general anime series. If you've taken a look at the trailer for this movie, you can see that the limited animation is almost non-existant. The characters (especially the cats) are all drawn in a unique and really cute art style which makes it really easy for the viewer to distinguish the characters apart from one another. The art style for the setting and the background of the movie is also incredibly gorgeous and the soundtrack does a really good job in complementing this, making it a perfect duo between Art and Sound. I personally found the OST quite memorable and I'd even be willing to say that it's worthy of being the top 10 anime movies with one of the best OST's.
Overall, I'm giving Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu a solid 9/10 and I would definitly recommend checking it out! Definitly one of, if not the, best anime movie released so far this year! <3

Short spoiler free review:
After reading the synopsis and watching the trailer of "Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?" I was expecting nothing other than a Harem/Comedy/Romance/Ecchi/School anime, and it turns out, that's exactly what I got.
I will admit that this type of anime has gotten to the point of it being really overused (right after the glorious Isekais of of course), but nonetheless I still enjoy them. I will admit that I consider myself a "tasteless brainlet" when it comes to good quality animes, but I have to say that I really enjoyed "Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?" more than
...
almost any other harem anime out there.
The story takes place in the typical setting that you would expect any other harem anime to take place in: "A SCHOOL!". I'm not sure why animes constantly overuse this setting, but what I will tell you is that the story is quite different to all the other harem animes out there, and all the characters have their own unique personality, so you should be able to find that one school girl which you could proudly call your "best girl".
Overall, as a trash taste weeb, I'm proudly giving this anime a solid 7/10. If you are a harem loving weeb like me, you should give this anime a go.

Quick short review:
Do you feel like having a fun time and having some good ol' laughs?
Trying to feel that missing piece in your heart that craves an anime similar to "Nichijou" or "Asobi Asobase"?
Well you came to the right place! Joshikousei no Mudazukai is the anime for you!
The story, location, jokes, and even some characters, can't help but constantly remind me of Nichijou/Asobi Asobase, and I like to think of this as a good thing. Others may indeed call this a "Nichijou/Asobi Asobase ripoff" or a "Nichijou/Asobi Asobase wannabe anime", but trust me this isn't the case. Both of them may have a few
...
similarities, but even so, they have there unique features and style of making the jokes pop-off. Ever since Nichijou/Asobi Asobase ended, I have personally been craving for some more of that "good stuff" and "Joshikousei no Mudazukai" finally brought to me what I desired most; laughs.
All that aside, I truly believe that this is one of the hidden gems of this anime season, and I am truly amazed that simply not enough people are talking about it. It really does everything right and I highly enjoy it. Overall, giving it a solid 8.2/10. <3

Netflix adaptations tend to be either good or trash.
"7 Seeds" falls into the dumpster category.
After watching the terrible trailer, I still had my hopes up, as I heard that the Manga was really good and since I had a genuine interest in the concept. But sadly, even less then half-way through the first episode of the Netflix adaptation, I already despised it.
First of all, there are so many stereotypical characters and moments that it feels like I'm watching a shitty attempt at a comedy anime. Every single one of the characters is just so damn irritating and it pisses me off. I don't
...
think I have ever hated an anime character more than every single one of "these" main protagonists. I just don't have the slightest interest in any of them, and it just left me hoping that these were are all joke protagonists and that they would all somehow manage to die at the end of the first episode, in order to reveal the "real" protagonists that I would be genuinely interested in (sadly this didn't end up happening).
The animations are also a pile of dog shit, and the Netflix trailer warned us about it. Yet I still decided to keep my hopes up, which ended up being a terrible mistake.
So far, I am not enjoying this anime in the slightest and I have decided to drop it right after the "4 episode rule".
Overall, this anime is getting a solid 2/10 from me. The entire anime is just a joke. Don't waste your time with this shit. <3

SHORT SPOILER FREE REVIEW:
Bungou Stray Dogs is simply... Bungou Stray Dogs.
If you enjoyed the previous seasons of this anime, then you might as well also enjoy this third season, just dont get your hopes up and expect something extraordinary. In my case, I thought the previous seasons of Bungou Stray Dogs were just alright, but somewhere deep inside me I was just hoping for something "more" from this season and that left me a tad-bit dissapointed in the end. Dont get me wrong, this season isnt bad, but I also just dont understand the massive hype that revolves around it, as it just isnt anything
...
out of the ordinary.
In my opinion, the story of this season was one of my least favorite from the three (which I find quite shocking as this one has the highest score on MAL). It is simply mediocre at most. I was honestly way more immersed in the previous 2 seasons and I also enjoyed them way more than this third one, though that may just be me and my shit-taste for quality anime.
In the end, I'm giving the 3rd season of Bungou Stray Dogs a solid 6/10. <3

Sarazanmai is a masterpiece that completely caught me off guard. I personally haven't followed any of Kunihiko Ikuhara’s previous works, so my reaction after seeing the first few episodes of this form of art were nothing other than: "What the actual fuck..." and if you're just like me you aren't familiar with his previous creations, I can pretty much guarantee you that those exact words will be your reaction as well. Just the plain concept of Sarazanmai is the goofiest thing ever, and that's the exact reason of why it is so damn good.
The story is absolutly ridiculous (in a good way). It makes you
...
not want to take this anime seriously at first, but that rapidly changes as you get more and more attached to the characters and the emotions that they emit. I went into this anime without any prior research, and after the first episode I thought that it would be nothing other than a really wacky comedy, but it turns out that it is WAY more than just that and it will without a doubt take you on a rollercoaster filled with more emotions than just laughs and giggles.
The art style is also glorious; especially the ED. I really liked it, and even though some people may consider it "generic", I believe that it is way more than just that. It truly is beautiful <3
The sound is also amazing. Once again, the ED has to be one of my favorites of this anime season, but rather than focusing on the ED, I want to get into the songs that the characters sing inside this anime. I'm going to be honest, at first I found these songs a little irritating and repetitive, but that rapidly changed and soon had me singing along with all the other characters. It may take some time to get used to, but it is truly amazing.
Overall, I'm giving this anime a solid 8/10, and it sure is a shame that it doesn't have the recognition that it deserves. <3

"Oh boy! I can't wait for the next anime isekai!" -Trash taste Weeb.
I've seen pretty much every isekai that anime has to offer, and meanwhile some of them were not that great, I believe that I'm in the minority that truly enjoys most isekais.
Kenja no Mago follows the typical isekai storyline of being reborn in another world as an OP MC. While I personally enjoy these types of anime, I understand why the majority of weebs out there are sick of this non-unique and generic concept with only slight differences in the story. I'll say upfront that if you are one of the people that
...
despises isekais, then this is without a doubt not the anime for you.
The art for this anime is pretty generic and there isn't really anything in particular that stands out, as far as the art style goes. I don't really mind it, but I know that other people out there will believe the contrary.
The soundtrack isn't anything special either and the characters are as generic as an isekai anime could get.
Even with all these flaws, I for some reason really enjoy watching Kenja no Mago, and while I must admit that I have a "shit-taste" in anime, I believe that Kenja no Mago is a good anime.
Overall, I'm giving this anime a solid 7/10. <3

Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san is without a doubt the happiest and fluffiest anime of this season. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I'm really enjoying the story and art style of this anime, making it one of my favorite ones this season. It's honestly just so wholesome and pure and makes me wish I would have a helpful fox of my own (even though that's never going to happen and I will most likely die alone). I'm not sure what it is about the art style, but I am genuinely in love with Senko-san. She is just so damn cute and fluffy! (don't you dare lewd her though...
...
she must be protected)
The sound is also amazing. The OP is without a doubt my favorite one of this season and the ED is also amazing. So far I've listened to the OP a couple hundred times on repeat, and I'm still enjoying it as if I heard it for the first time.
In the end, the characters and story are similar in a way to "Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon", except replace the dragons with Mofu Mofu foxes. But don't get me wrong, it's a complete different experience and is without a doubt not a "Dragon Maid Clone".
Overall, I'm giving Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san a solid 8/10. If you're looking for a nice and happy FeelsGood anime, look no futher as this one is for you. <3

Gunjou no Magmel is without a doubt one of the most underrated animes this season. I feel like not enough people are talking about it, and that leads me to writing this review.
After reading the synopsis and looking at the front cover art for this anime, led me to having some quite low expectations, but boy I was wrong. After watching the first episode, my impressions for this anime changed immediatley and to be fair, it reminded me a lot of "Made in Abyss" (my favorite anime of all times) except this time with an OP MC.
The story for this anime is pretty solid
...
(even though it may get repetitive). I personally am a huge fan of mysterious worlds filled with potential to explore, and I believe that this is the main feature that got me hooked on this anime in the first place. I also enjoy the "dark" aspect of this show, which just adds an extra enjoyment level to the show.
The art and sound is also pretty good. I really enjoyed the opening art style and I loved the ending song even more. Sadly, I don't believe the OST is as "remarkable" or "good" as all the other animes out there, but that is one of the only negatives that I could spot in this anime.
The characters in Gunjou no Magmel are also all quite unique and filled with mysteries of their own, and this is something I'm really eager to uncover.
Overall, I'm giving this anime a solid 7/10 <3
Edit:
It went to shit 0/10. Absolute garbage.
