I really enjoyed this show i was looking for something new but in the fantasy genre. the animation was great. And i liked the story a lot. I liked how killing the goblins wasnt easy that they struggled they kicked they pulled the screamed it almost was like what the characters were doing was worse and they werent just attacking some random animal. I dont know it just seemed different then most shows about fighting monsters etc that it wasnt as easy as other "heroes" make it. I also like that they didnt really use scream power moves out or whatever it is that most ... anime do. I loved the water colour style backgrounds and the character design was great. Id say this is a great anime for some one looking for something in the fantasy genre.

Code geass is a great show i started watching it after death note years ago. And since i have rewatched it 4 times all the way through. its just that good i dont rewatch a lot of shows. but this is one that you can enjoy even through the second or third or fourth play through. it has twists turns cool giant robot action.

Yes it has flaws...what show doesnt those flaws are some characters are useless to the story. But for the most part this is a fantastic ride one i am happy to take again. A classic in anime. But as i see ... some classics have their detractors. And i do get that. I get why some people will hate the ridiculous fan service at points or some bad charactizations but for me i just really enjoyed it and if you like your shows with a deep story that twists and turns along the way the code geass saga really is for you.

Stiens gate is one of the top Anime on this site for a reason it is a masterpiece. I'm not really going to go deep with this one but i will say it is an addicting show you will find yourself wanting more after each episode wanting to find out what happens next in this epic story. There are many twists and turns and the story and characters are so appealing along with character evolution of the lead from bubbling goof to caring human being. great show and defiantly worth checking out if you want some thing smart and keeps you interested the whole way ... through.

I am surpised by some of the awful reviews this show is getting a 3? Really for its animation it should be getting atleast a 5 even if you hated the story. This show is beautifully animated. Some of the characters are a little cliche from anime troupes.

But i'll pull back here from reacting to lower reviews. I watched this show over about 3 days when i could get some free time.

The sound in this show is very good the way you can almost feel your on this train. Its just so well done.

The story i found to be good it has ... some eh moments or when characters become all power ful. There are a few characters we're suppose to be killed off that we dont really care about because they just seem to be there for that purpose.

Now is this an Evangelion, Cow Boy beebop or Akira? No its not reinventing the wheel but it is giving a new take on a concept that is really hot today vampires/zombies. I think it does pull off the desperate fight story the hopelessness very well. And the main two characters are well developed and so are some of the supporting cast.

the fight scenes and action scenes are where this show shines there are some spectacular visuals and some really well thought out creative fights. That kept me on the edge of my seat.

I am a big fan of serious anime that avoid the goofy faces while chars are angry or sad cause it looks lazy and unappealing and takes me out of the story. So this not having that is good for me. This really is a good show and if you are looking for a good action or horror expence you should check it out. As there are some great fights and it really is a visual treat.

Naruto is one of those animes that is really well known has a huge following.

I've attempted to watch it for years but failed in a couple attempts. But thanks to netflix i have finally been able to watch the entire series. Well minus the filler i skipped those episodes.

The show starts out and i hated the lead character he was loud and annoying and seemed to repeat the same lines a ridiculous amount. As the show went i would say i had passing interest until around the episode 50 mark in the series.

The characters seemed to really start to develop around this ... point. In the chuein exam arc in particular. Naruto himself gradually became less annoying. Sakura slowly faded to the background before disapearing almost completly.

I found that supporting cast was actually moe likeable then the main cast. Kikashi was two scoops of awesome but their would be long spans of time he would completly disappear from the show. this would happen with pretty much everyone except Naruto.

One problem was that some fights would drag on way too long. One in particular that featured a character death took so long that the impact of this characters death was completly lost. This was something id call dbz syndrome where a character over explains their moves.

Another thing that came up alot is that it seemed during every battle a character would say "i have used up all of my chakra" or something around those lines it got to a ridiculous point that i joked about it with a friend.

I think what holds this series back is the fact that it drags things out too much. In the same way dragonball z did. The fights that are the most enjoyable are the more all out action fights. There were fights that did last multiple episodes that were fantastic like the last "main" fight of the series that the animators seemed to bring beyond their a game and during that series of episodes itself i would give a ten for the arc as things just looked beautiful.

The story had some great moments and if some things werent dragged out like i think that if the show were cut it half we probably wouldnt lose alot.


All in all i would recommend this show it may not live up to the hype some people give it but it does have its moments it is worth a viewing if you have the time i would suggest finding a filler list to skip filler episodes though.

I want to start out by saying I love Zombie movies I watch them constantly i've seen everything from night of the living dead to wild zero. So when I found a manga that was zombies in a high school i was like SHIT this is awesome. I started reading it and I loved it the zombies are there the drama's there its not as good as Robert Kirkman's walking dead but its still awesome and you can't complain about the fan service in there either. The story flows very well and the charcters are likeable. Id recommend this to any one who wants a ... fix of zombies or ultra violence with a mix of good charcters as well.

The art is sleek and while it does go the goofy low detail faces here and there it doesnt do it alot. the best thing about high school of the dead is the charcters they are all very well written and this is defiantly a must read for zombie and horror fans

I read this after being starved for some ultra violence after reading gants while the violence is there. And I really enjoyed the first volume the tartintino style story telling can be a bit jarring and some of the charcters i found to become less likeable as the story went on. And I love tarintino but it got confusing trying to figure out what era I was reading. By the second volume the time jumps got too much for me ill return to it eventally just not just yet. I found the art beautiful and but the story was a little to out there for ... me at the time.
