It started off good. But the ending was... uhh well, I'll say it: AKIRA AND SATORU DIDN'T DESERVE THAT SORTA ENDING!
Chuoku is straight up evil and FINALLY Kaibyakumon had taken the initiative to destroy it. ATLEAST HE HAD TAKEN THE INITIATIVE! NONE OF THE MAIN CAST HAD DONE THAT! AND HE GOT SUBDUED BY THE MAIN GROUP OF THE CAST?? SHOULDN'T HE HAD BEEN BACKED UP? this was lit. yes, this was absolutely amazing. loved the coming-of-age theme in this short lil anime. especially the (obviously) dubious ending.
well then again, everyone might not like this show as the darker elements might be a bit TOO much. we have child abuse as a major theme but the way the other kids lick their wounds and continue with their "partner" is definitely a sweet aspect. this may also set an example on how if you dont always convey your feelings, it causes a problem to all around. you may be a bother but well if we're not a bother who can complement ... |
