Shinobi Life

What they have in common: - The stories both revolve around the couple and their developing relationship. - Both girls in each story have the male as the protecting figure, and they're both ninja-esque. - Both couples have complications arising from a difference in "status." - Both stories have wonderful art, coming from someone who's very picky, and the bishies are lovely. Differences: - While they both have humor elements, Shinobi (in comparison) is a bit darker than Arakure.

Kamisama Hajimemashita

First off, I'll state that these two manga (Shinobi Life and Kamisama Hajimemashita) are in my top ten of all time... thus I may be biased. =) But, if you feel the same, read on: What they have in common: - The stories both revolve around the couple and their developing relationship. - Both girls in each story have the male as the protecting figure. In the case of Shinobi it's obviously a ninja, and in the case of Kamisama a fox demon. - Both girls in each story have trouble adapting to the lifestyle of their male counterpart. - Both stories have wonderful art, coming from someone who's very picky, and the bishies are lovely. - Both stories deal with the past of the male counterpart. I won't spoil it for you. =) - Both can get a little difficult to follow if you skip through or, in my case, have one too many cocktails during your reading session. Differences: - Kamisama has more humor and is more lighthearted. - Kamisama is a little bit more "episodic" than Shinobi, but still neatly carries the plot. - Shinobi has many more historical elements, which gives it a more realistic air (aside from the time traveling of course).

Personally, I like He's Dedicated to Roses way better than this Cutie Boy. Cutie Boy's characters were really just too dumb and helpess for me. Almost to the point where I coulodn't stand it anymore. He's Dedicated to Roses isn't that far of a step up (as both of the leads are dumb or helpeless as well), but for some reason I just find myself liking He's Dedicated to Roses much more. There are a lot more bishies in that one too. <3 Both are worth a read though. If you like one, you'll have no problem with the other. Similarities: Both manhwa, both great art, cute shoujo romance style, both involve jjangs/gangs and all that fun stuff, female lead doesn't have complete control over her life, etc. etc.

Very similar feel, drama, art to them. If you like one, you will DEFINITELY like the other. Nana (Bokura ga Ita) / Fujisaki (Tomodachi), Motoharu (Bokura ga Ita) / Mizuno (Tomodachi), and Takeuchi (Bokura ga Ita) / Sasamoto (Tomodachi) all have very similar circumstances (i.e. love triangle). Personally, I like Bokura ga Ita a little bit better because it's longer... and I like drenching myself in a long manga. But, they're both very good!
