Preliminary (14/? chp)
This manga contains a unique artstyle, dark (and sometimes dirty) humor, and a more episodic nature.

"In other words, it's another Sayman Dowman manga?"

You are correct, Mr. Quotation Marks. If you like Dowman, you'll probably like his bizarre and clever take on isekai. If you don't know Dowman, this might be a safe place to start since it lacks his usual amount of full frontal nudity. At least, it isn't in the 14 chapters that are currently out. That said, there is partial nudity and also a lot of blood. However, the more simplistic artstyle makes the fanservice feel less sexual and the gore feel less ...

A hitman and an 8-year old girl swap bodies! This is a disaster! Well, just for the hitman. The girl is chilling and happy that she doesn't need to deal with bullies and her overbearing mother. The hitman has to deal with the girl's problems while still being a hitman. Both situations are hilarious, and the two characters have great chemistry with each other.

Despite the violence, it isn't too gory, and it also doesn't have fanservice. So, don't worry about anything creepy happening with the 8-year old girl. It's a family friendly experience! (Ignore the murdering.)

Anyway! This is a promising action comedy manga that I ...

Me, 291 days ago: I love how we can see the Lucky Star girls again as 30-somethings! The characters are just as charming, the banter is fun, and the new character designs fit them. The new art style takes a while to get used to, but it's nice art. Only two chapters are out right now, but I hope to see more in the future.

Me, today: pain

Yeah, there's only two chapters. It's uncertain if any more chapters will come out, but if you treat these 2 chapters as the full story, it's a glimpse into the adult lives of these beloved characters that will leave ...

You see that tall blonde woman in the janitor's uniform on the cover of this manga? That's Nao-chan. She isn't the main character.

She is more of a supporting character in a bunch of stories. Each chapter of this manga is about a student going through a problem. The problem could be as minor as not liking how your friends badmouth others or as major as sexual assault. Then Nao-chan does something to help the student, usually by listening and talking to them. She's no genie, however, and the problem always remains, but her joyful and kind nature always seems to leave the student in a ...

Let's get through the obvious questions you might have first.
Sexual Fanservice: None that I noticed
Romance Progression: Fast
Art Quality: Solid
Diabetes: Yes

Blooming Love feels like a standard nerdy guy and tsundere girl romance at first, but it blooms into a wholesome story about 2 awkward people falling in love. While I did call Ibuki a nerd and Sugisaki a tsundere at first, they don't really fit into those tropes. They are more real and likable than that. A common trait they have is that they work hard in their passions. This makes them more relatable to us real people, who have to sacrifice and suffer to get ...

Preliminary (8/28 chp)
There are only 8 chapters translated at the moment. So, here's my review.

Write Sisters has the same crass humor from WataMote, Nico Tanigawa's more popular manga. The art is clean and fits the comedy, and the chemistry between the characters is great. My favorite character is Kanae, the overdramatic younger sister with twintails bigger than the rest of her body. As a wannabe writer, her struggles are relatable and inspire me to write more. Her older sister, Noizumi, is a weirdly fashionable NEET who drags her little sister into the world of books. Tamaki is a seemly prim and proper young author but has a ...

I can be a sadist. When a fictional character is suffering, I tend to laugh rather than feel bad for them. However, Goodnight Punpun shut me up, and I think the reason why it did that is what makes the manga so special. (BTW, there's no spoilers in this review, but I'll be speaking in abstract terms how I felt while reading.)

Goodnight Punpun can be a funny manga. That much is obvious when the main character is a poorly drawn bird in a detailed and beautiful world. There are jokes that build the characters and the world. There are running gags that break the tension. ...

WataMote is a comedy that could've easily have been a tragedy. Tomoko makes every social situation she enters worse. She fails at ordering food. She fails at making friends. She fails at saying a simple "goodbye" to her teacher after school. She has no one to turn to for guidance, and she is left alone to hopelessly figure out what is wrong with her. But it's still a comedy. Why? Because she never really gives up. No matter what happens, she will always recovers and gets up the next day to face the world again. For that reason, this isn't a story of a girl's ...

Pretty Boy Detective Club is a wonderfully weird mystery of the week anime with beautiful art, but keep expectations low.
While the it can be fun, I think the weirdness makes stuff not make much sense sometimes. Many times the solution is more "beautiful" than logical if that makes any sense. However, the solution tends to be mostly inconsequential since they just go to the next mystery. There is a small connection between the mysteries, but they are mostly independent.
Art is beautiful, especially later on. They like to change art styles for some scenes, and it's fun. There's a little goof in episode 3 when they ...

This movie is a proper continuation of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!, and if you wanted more of that story, this movie will scratch that itch.

However, I had problems with the action. The fights themselves had noticeable CGI, and they covered it up with some weird filter. Frankly, I believe that Silver Link tried to emulate Heaven's Feel with all of its complex movements. A noble goal, but it didn't pay off. It looks like trash. However, I don't care much about action. My eyes were on the story.
This movie fleshes out the villains and Illya more than any other part of the series. We learn ...
