similarities: -dystopian theme -the setting seems to at first be a peaceful and good world but as the shows go on it is revieled that the worlds are built on questionable morals -art quality differences: -psycho pass has more action/shinsekai yore is more calm -characters age (psychopass's characters are older) -antagonist (in psychopass, other then the dystopian society, there is also a human antagonist/in shinsekai yori the antagonist is only the dystopian society)

Both anime have extremely hard working protagonists, who start out inexperinced in a field (circus performance in Kaleido Start and playing go in Hikaru no Go) and than grow as performer/go player as the anime progress. Both have a similar length, similar art styles are similar overall feel.

Very similar art style, and the worlds of Shaman King and Hunter x Hunter have a similar feel to them. Hunter x Hunter is however the better quality anime, and also the more mature one.

Both anime have an extremely hard working main lead, both also have a similar art style, similar feel (light hearted but with parts where the main character experiences stress/loss/defeat), and similar length. The setting is however very different: Hikaru no Go is about a boy trying to become a professional Go player and Saiunkoku is about a girl trying to become a court official in a society modelld on ancient China.
