This anime is average in almost all aspects. The art, the writing, the pacing, etc. There is honestly nothing that makes this anime stand out from any other. If you are not a fan of sports anime than I would recommend that you skip this anime because like I said, there is really nothing special about it. A good thing about this anime though is the writing of the character's relationships and the character's developments. The most notable character development was with Chika. in the show, Chika hypes up the fact that he wants to go to nationals. It is talked about so much that you really expect the show to end with them heading to nationals. But no. It instead ends with an underwhelming episode that shows the aftermath of a regular old match they had with a rival team. There isn't even any gameplay action or drama in this episode either, just the characters saying corny stuff to each other. One could argue that this is just setting up for a second season, but let's be real, 2.43 doesn't appear to be getting a season 2 anytime soon. Apart from that, it was a perfectly mediocre anime that wasn't amazing but not horrible either. You should probably watch this if you are a big fan of the sports genre and also appreciate a good relationship between characters.
