both are historical dramas taking place in Europe during the Middle Ages and dealing with religion, belief systems, and challenging the status quo of what is expected, or accepted, in their respective settings. both series are incredibly moving, thought-provoking, and heartfelt.

Even though they're different genres, these two give very similar vibes imo, mainly because of the main characters. First, the main characters have the same Japanese VA, Daiki Yamashita. The main characters are both hard-working, silly, nerdy, and passionate about their interests (anime for Onoda, and heroes for Deku). They are both inspirational, and motivate you to work hard to accomplish your dreams.

if you've watched Cardcaptor Sakura you HAVE TO WATCH this OVA, it's actually the cutest thing ever, and such a sweet addition to Sakura and Syaoran's story.

bullied underdog mc at a special school for those aiming to become the strongest in the world, both have great fights and you really find yourself rooting for the main characters- MHA is definitely better though

An originally powerless main character using borrowed strength in a special school. Both characters get progressively stronger throughout the series, but Iruma-kun is more of a comedy, while My Hero has more action. Overall, I think if you liked one then you will probably like the other.

same animation studio and just similar vibes imo. both have really fun characters and great fights, if you liked one you will probably like the other- FMAB is definitely the better of the two though
