Both series have an unusual, hilarious cast. They're slice of life feel good comedies. They involve romance but that's not actually what the focus of the show is. Both are character driven with art and inspiration playing a huge role in the plots. Listen, I just died laughing multiple times during both of these shows. The humor is great. Kuragehime is more about the character journey, but Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun hits the same funny bone.
