This is not for everyone. In fact, this employs common tropes that are common in isekai.
But my, what power fantasy is this.
If not just pew pew, boom boom, there are a lot of element of diplomacy which is central in modern military as well. You can attack everyone to gain supremacy but modern weaponries are expensive. You also need trade to support modern living, which is why alliance is important.
The only problem I see, the are just firing precious expensive ammunitions that are hard if not impossible to reproduce, since most of military tech in democratic countries(including Japan) comes a lot from joint work with

Not going to lie, with the earlier chapters I agree that this can satisfy those who are looking for power fantasy. The trope is MC is overpowered but oblivious to his power.
But in the later chapters after they established all the main character, it started to have some serious stake in the story (previously it was all very low stakes). And that is when things got serious. You can try to brush of the remaining part as increasing power in the power fantasy, however the characters do hit some snag that limits the use of their power. I don't get the negative review. It's not the best isekai, but it tackles a different perspective than other isekai so I do find it interesting and somewhat heartwarming.
I like the art, but since there is not much action, you can't really compare it much to other isekai which are more action pack and would demand more from the art direction. Character wise, there are competing factions that have their own motivation, although at chapter 10, there was still no directr confrontation.
