My Review: Among Us + Kaguya-sama: Let's sus out the main protagonist!
The story revolves around the female protagonist, Shino, and her personal butler, Kimi, who's actually her classmate and crush, Yu. As expected from a rom-com scenario, Kimi (or Yu) is trying to keep this a secret, or he would be ousted by Shino's parents as they would disapprove her relationship with a classmate. Typical conservative asian parents lmao. (though her mother's character design is so distracting) The appeal is how Kimi/Yu would almost get busted for doing suspicious actions or baiting readers with possibilities like early Kaguya-sama. Oh, there's also another rival girl, Fuuka
...
(or called by Yu as Kafuu-chan) who's definitely going to lose in the end and of course she's a childhood friend. Fuuka doesn't have a Hayasaka or Ayase appeal, but an alright rival in my books. Fortunately (for some people), Yu's younger sister, Mimi is a great comedic relief. I wish no one ship them with Yu, although she didn't appear that often. The manga would revolve around either butler-master situations in Shino's house, or at school where more characters interact with each other. Funny enough, there is a lot of western references compared to other mangas, like Max Verstappen on the TV or X-Men cosplays during school festival. Also, I love how they implement several fan service shots to hook you in the early chapters like Shikimori manga, but that would be a rarity later on. Overall, a great read if you wanna kill some time or someone with a truck. 7/10 Waiting for an anime adaptation or live action.

i will normal summon traptrix pudica and pitch traptrip garden to my hand. then, I will link summon sera by using my pudica on the field and set my traptrip garden on my field spell zone. due to the effect of the garden, i will second normal summon mantis and pitch arachnocampa to my hand. then id like to use sera's effect after using pudica's effect, i will set holutea on the field. by sending my gravedigger's trap hole from my hand to the graveyard, i will flip up my holeutea and special summon it as a monster and then special summon dionaea to pitch
...
my gravedigger's trap hole from my graveyard to be set on the field. now, i will xyz summon rafflesia in defense position. and finally, id like to special summon arachnocampa and then xyz summon pinguicula in attack position from my dionaea and holeutea, and detach holeutea to pitch another mantis from deck to my hand. now i will set 2 more cards in the back row and end my turn.
on the other note, it was an enjoyable manga.

if ur a kukkuro heroine enthusiast, u would enjoy this manga deeply.
if u followed her works from onyanoco, u would be surprised.
if ur interested in a gacha aspect of the story, u would be alright.
and if ur interested in reading a good ecchi comedy manga, personally I would recommend rozen garten saga, but this manga definitely has good fan-service for people who enjoys heroines in dangerous situations.
the characters are not annoying at all, and I kinda root for their totally unforseen success, however my engagement was ruined a bit by the repetitive formula of: girl meets monster -> monster attacks girl ->
...
ryona fan-service -> sudden power increase -> victory
not only that, the story itself gets repetitive real fast, since they were no further discussion past chapter 6. it became a monster of the week formula with more variety in the ways the monsters would damage our heroines than the variety of superpowers. the lack of focus with the main girl happened after about 15 chapters in when the other character with a more complete motivation and a hero's journey narrative was introduced. the ending got rushed (again), but just like onyanoco, it was somewhat within the level of satisfaction.
the manga supposedly fulfil it's objective of satisfying everyone's fetishes from characters getting hugged in the face by insects or being petrified into stone (and into gold in a separate occurrence) or being zombified while still being alive or just good ol' ryona and vore.
im not joking here, you can find the author's fanbox and see the alternative outcomes for our beloved characters which supposedly survived the attack or not fully submitted to pleasure in the manga/canon continuity. she's still drawing ryona til this very day, not saying that it's a bad thing though.

5/10 due to a sudden shift of the story and it's repetitiveness + its lack of variety of special powers. score not including the quality nor quantity of fan-service. ps. im not aroused nor disgusted by the fan-service. i was just enjoying the ride with an open mind.

DISCLAIMER: i have also read the light novels alongside with the manga, although the light novel doesn't have a proper page here in the website, so im putting it here. also the light novel was illustrated by the nachoneko. please make a proper page there for pops' sake.
firstly, the manga fully kept details from the light novel, however lacking several background shots, so it looked like characters talking in white space. btw i do not mind the manga artist not fully replicate nachoneko's art style. it does give more emotion than the original, like imagine gura making bocchi faces lmao.
now for the actual plot. WITH
...
MINIMUM SPOILERS. the entire story is a journey of wtf moments after another. from start to finish(?) it felt like i was reading a different manga, like started from reading bocchi->index->monogatari->guilty crown->railgun. although the story (estimated at manga chapter 12), would finally found it's footing, but overall it is definitely an experience. a comedy(?) about friendship(?) turned mystery(?) with unexpected plot complexity & twists and red herrings.
in short summary, i was having a field day with this one.
