This is an anime where every detail matters. So many things in the begnning that made no sense or seemed peculiar became important details by the end. If you can get over the hurdle of the oddities at the beginning (namely a character that is very perverted) I consider this one of the best anime stories. The ending wrapped everything up so well, but it still left me with an emptiness at having to let go something so wonderful.
