I think this anime is mostly fine if you are forgiving. It starts off with a very promising story, one that seems of vengeance, but then it turns out to be very different.
I have a few problems with that spoil the fun though, they are:
1. Thorfinn is a weak protagonist and a badly written one
2. Young blonde guy (not Thorfinn) has changes personality too abruptly and it's an unreasonable part of the story, it's almost as if the guy becomes someone else
3. Everyone's swearing loyalty to the new would-be king out of the blue is also nonsense

Dropped after watching just the second episode. This is also my second time trying to watch this anime.
The first episode presents the main protagonists and the premises upon which the show will run, which is a game where every participant has a "future diary" that lets them see the future. The final goal of the game is to kill everyone else so as to become the god of Time and Space, the guy who set up this game in the first place. Although it's a pretty weird anime, be it because of its theme or the characters, I found it to be very well executed and there weren't significant drops in quality like most animes have, where they start out good them they go downhill.
This alone made me like this anime. Another thing is that I never knew what was coming next. I wouldn't say that it have "plot twists" in it, I don't even find plot twists to be a positive thing because they seem to me like a device used by writers to get out of a dead end. I just saw a lot of the bad reviews here saying the animation is bad and the CGI too, but decided to give it a go to see what I think.
Man, this looks atrocious, don't waste your time. First of all because it's all CGI, beginning through end, and bad CGI btw. There's not much more that I can say. The art is bad too, but the main problem is the CGI, it makes it look like it's not an anime, but a CGI film. The main problem I had with this anime is how garbage it looks. I don't know the manga, and I didn't take the time to see how the story unfolds, but these I can say: 1. Let's be fair with The Animatrix. Some people here are criticizing it without knowing or taking into account that it's a compilation of several different films that were produced independently, and then were packed in the 10 DVD Box Matrix Special. So this was never meant to be a single film.
Apart of that, some of the stories bring you some small bits that complement the official Trilogy, for me the most important being the ones about the war between humans and robots, that's great. Great show, you know. It has its flaws but overall it's a great anime. Positive points for me are:
- It is an enjoyable cyberpunk, detective story. I link both genres and it satisfied my thirst by not being too over the top and relatively well executed compared to other shows in the genres above - Mental health is a main theme in psycho-pass, and it's interesting that this show made me reflect quite a bit about my how simply "changing subjects" ( like when a negative thought or conversation comes up) has a positive impact in our moods in daily life. This show is, you know, bad. Not gonna spend a lot of time talking about this, I'll try to sum up why it fail in comparison to the first season:
1. Everyone is OP. A lot of the supporting cast and antagonists are as powerful or even more than mob, breaking the premise upon which the first season was built. 2. It's not fun. This anime is very cliché and predictable, the characters aren't great and the character is super OP and boring. Yet I had fun watching it, it's a cool anime that doesn't take itself seriously. This season is good because of this. The second one messed up because they tried to make it more serious and had a more ambitious plot and it failed in executing it, but this one is actually pretty fun to watch if you don't expect a masterpiece.

I liked Aragoto too, just as I liked the first noragami. I tend to find every series I watch crap, because generally start out too ambitious and then the quality falls down. I found noragami not to be ambitious at all, it has simple premises and almost no ambition at all, it is mainly focused on character development and on friendship, it turns out to be a very nice anime because of that.
