all those 40+ chapter leading up into a mess 7 chapter of ending....

pain point:
1. Irrelevant / gimmick side character that really does nothing to add into the ending of the story
2. Later, the series extremely into shoujo romance
3. They drag the series way too long with hollow, meaningless chapters
4. All character feeling and logic are nonsense / stupid that you can figure it out in the first chapter
5. Predictable and hollow ending, left the rest of the character with no proper ending / the author want a good ending for all character but fail miserably
6. The series want to be "light and entertaining to read" ... but fail and become an extreme shoujo romance manga *BUT* afraid to spice things up and become boring, dull and predictable

Deathmarch is Fantasy Game Isekai with so much mystery to unravel. The tone is light but sometime it spikes and so much action going on.
Mostly because its more like slice of life type, but it kinda lack in execution, yes in so much aspect.

4 - Story revolve around Satou's Harem, trying to enjoy the world as he stuck in it. Doing anything he wanted as justice warrior.
Plot is a bit strange, because we are losing tempo ... as the episode going on.
I dont like when they trying hard to make action scene look good, because we're know he will success in the end with his so much power.

4 - The progress of information or world building is slow, like the story itself. They intended to make Slice of life kinda type as the novel readers said. Not so much exciting to watch, it fail flat.

4 - Its decent, because of the animation, we can't really see quality of it. The fight choreography is disaster.

Story and plot - 4
There is no plot. The anime is really episodic in the half end, the main story is actually only competition of the girls winning jurai love. Really ? I expect something more comedic or entertaining about club activity. But they prioritise romance drama over thing i expect above.
And they bring something called 'war' or some shit that actually not the story.

The art is ok, but so much fail drawing and animation on the half end of the anime that really noticeable

Voice sfx bgm ost 6
The VA is good enough, but not consistent at some point, especially about Jurai. The SFX is only on some comedic and chuunibyo things. I didnt notice about any bgm in this. OP and ED is nothing special. Its gonna be good if they improce about the sfx and bgm.

Character 4
This a romance drama anime in the end. So all the development is only make the viewers choose who is the best heroine.
But seriously, thats nothing important about them beside the background story and their past. They really show us who and what actually he/she are. And they make Jurai is one sided, self insert and perfect person for all the girls like really ? Girls really want Jurai's deek

Enjoyment and directing 4
Yeah, this is actually a love drama about who get Jurai love. Theres nothing interesting about supernatural power or some shit. Nothing really special about the chuunibyo things. They just put all development about the girls and this anime is changed to a hatem building anime. Good job.

This is a harem romance drama anime. But its ok to watch harem anime like this, its entertaining but nothing good about this.

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni, is not rip-off or unoriginal version of Isekai genre or trying to follow the successful of their predecessor Isekai genre. They have their own story, directing and different taste from other Isekai setting. But, lets see what they're all about!!

I know this is Harem anime. Like......... "We dont need to make solid feel about the setting.
We just going to rush the harem and make a dream like 'Fantasy Story' about ideal man encounter with 6 or more (12 i think) attractive and interesting girl that really ... exciting and entertaining!!"
Sounds good right? (That just sarcasm!!! This anime is so bad)

They used the story with rushed Slice of life style, feel so fast and leave no trace. Everything is flow so damn flawless. They made a loop of conflict - climax - resolution for every episode and that was really easy to find the solution.
This a type of 'Happy go lucky' anime for making us impress. The event to event or plot went fast and peacefully. The first impression about how the MC journey will begin really hollow. The atmospheric feel about this 'Isekai' really bland, not clear and not well delivered.
Why he going to be adventurer, what is adventurer, and what his main resolve.
The usefulnes of his Smartphone not so stand out than his other skill. Because what Kami-sama give to him was 'So much'.

Animation and art is mediocre, look really flat and stiff. They cant decide what artstyle they going to focus. Sometime they make cute scene fot the girls and result are fine. But they really tryhard making a fight scene. Camera prespective and background selection are bad and not vivid. Scene to scene so far appart and fast that make me so disgust.

Voice acting was fine and really helping this series existance. OP is catchy, ED not impressive.
BGM placement and selecton REALLY not fit and kind of annoying. They more care about the sound effect like footstep or something drop. However, result are like, we not give a ****.

This is harem anime. Noone bats an eye about their personality. What our need is cute and more ecchi moment and playing dumb male MC. atleast some of them are entertaining and loveable.

For turn off your brain and just watch. Maybe you gonna like this beacuse everything gonna be fine and flat, even my feeling is hollow and not react to any should be heart-warming moment or intense scene. Even the joke and normal behavior are cringe and awkward.
You gonna be like: 'haHAA', 'WutFace', and 'cmonBruh' (google image it).
This series can hook my interest but execution, production quality and happy go lucky is really 'Bad' quality.

Conclusion is 'Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni' may be your choice for entertain and killing time purpose (but still bad too), not for amazing or heavy material story.

I not recommending you to watch this anime because everything in this anime seems bad and worthless. Unless you come just because the harem fantasy. Final score = 3

Mawaru Penguin drum, its definitely not your 'Happy Story' or 'Roller Coaster feeling' kind of story that dont have any 'message or moral value' that after you watch you dont get anyting for yourself.
This is not your "Oh Im so sad, after all that moment and interaction they have done, they ended up like that" Anime for 14 YO that only think about how fun life are and suddenly, "Oh goddamit" moment out of nowhere.

But... actually Mawaru Penguin Druim is still far away from 'Master Piece' or kinda Elitist's praised 90s anime.
Its gonna be different from my previous review that explain point per ... point. Instead im write what i like and what things should get better .

(+-) As i said before, this is not your main source of entertain with all every day normal things. This is basically a Tragedy anime, but things just so warm in here and all kind of crazy & supernatural things are good and worth the time to know all the revelation of the well-built story. Dont expect to get a normal things on this anime. Its kinda too long for make this to 2 cour series, but it fit and filled with content, so it worth and not boring at all, we not watch something same every episode.
(+) Great concept about Fate / Destiny. Things are so deep and meaningful throughout the story. It really change me as a person after i noticing the meaning of all that messy thing.
(+-) The complex of the story and character that at some point i just cant following it or denying somethings that really surprisingly so different than before.
(-) The overall settings of the anime is kinda weird or uncommon, not only the supernatural things, buy how peoples are the world itself.
(+-) In my opinion, some artstyle or visialization of the scene and settings and confusing and unclear (i can say like plot hole) where the reality and imaginary cannot be differentiated.
(+) Visual quality and overall Sound are decent, its good but im not like all of that.

1. Some of Children arround the world are not lucky than the others. Some of them must bear with their parents past.
2. So, how you gonna accepting your fate? we all dont know how life gonna turns, bad things must happen and life keep goes on. But we must know what target in our life and things you want to protect, do it without hesitation.
Good things always follow the person that keep their promise.

Gakkougurashi. The story revolve around Gakuen Seikatsubu (High school living club) with only four member, with their resolve is 'You dont allowed to go home'.
Did you think is easy to survive apocalypse? you only need psychical needs? you only need to live for tomorrow? you didnt have any dream? etc.
Watch it and you will understand. -Story and moral value = 7/10

The art is great and enough for satisfying us. not full gloomy or full colurful. The animation and art enough for execution of the story and really memorable . The screen effect and screen to screen really fit and enjoying.
The op and ed are dynamicly ... follow the progress of the story.

The VA are really fit and memorable. OST are really great and emotional. Sound effect and bgm are fit and dont have any problem.

Their characters are really fit each other and enjoyable on overall of the series. with the combination of the art style and their VA. The interaction of the character is perfect and emotionaly support each other. Their kind of realtionship are really heartwarming and memorable.
-Character = 9/10

Overall, this is really a good melow sad-happy story and really enjoyable and meaningful. How they develop their life, interaction with each other, enjoying their life, have a plan, getting rid of problem, and have a dream.
-Enjoyment and directing = 8/10

This show know how to make a mellow story and make us relate and getting into the story. the execution are almost perfect and memorable.
Sad-Happy story that know how to manipulate and 'play' with our feeling.
Overall score = 8/10

This is the smmary and what Gakkougurashi offers
- Not 'Happy go lucky' for only entertain with slice of life
- This is a mellow show that people can relate 'if' they onto the story and imagining the situation
- But this is not full forced forced plot or drama
- This series have a lot of moral value and sad-happy feel
- This series is 'Really' heartwarming, breathtaking, and success made me cried
