Supernatural mystery thrillers, that take part in massive mansions where a creepy family presides: it's not that common a combination but it fits both these titles. There is also a lavish feeling to both, with Victorian-like clothing and a very eerie atmosphere of dread that keeps the viewer guessing at what precisely is going on, as much as it does the cast.

Both of these shows throw plot out the window. They have vague reasons why the large groups of girls are important, but don't let those 5 minutes of explanatons fool you: They're about getting a dozen or so anime girls together to do cute things and that's it. They're 80% 'filler'

Kusuo Saiki is a typical 16-year-old high school student… except he has psychic powers. He can use them to get whatever he wants, but he also knows everything that people are thinking. Everything. No surprises, no secrets, no normal human experiences. He's kept his powers in check since childhood, but with the temptations of high school now on his mind, he's bending the rules—and spoons.

Similar stories for a real figher, in a group of mercenaries, who want to become stronger, and get to the moment he is unbeatable. A lot of blood and nice fighting scenes are just part of the plot, in both animes, there is a nice story of a human's life.

Both shows have the exact same type of characters.- Nice main character- Loud, physically abusive tsundere- The calm, nice one - The yandere- The side character who knows the tsundere in some way and is the last one to become interestedBoth shows have a strong comedy focus, although I think Nisekoi dives a bit deeper into the romantic aspect of rom-coms.

From the same studio, and each feels like an alternate universe of the other, because of how many character designs overlap between the two. The Ether Gear is basically just a sci-fi version of the magic in Fairy Tail, and there are a lot of other similarities.

- Both have a mixed dorm and both are funny and cute (mostly) the diffrence is this one has romance in it - They're similar in the sense that both have the main characters live in a dorm and they both have these great feel good moments. Sakurasou is more of a romance story while Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san is more of a cute slice of life anime with some fanservice.

If you liked Miss Caretaker of Sunohara-sou, then you'd like Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks? because both anime are uncomfortably perverted. They both feature incredibly voluptuous main characters who do sexualized activities to the main male characters. In one anime the male MC is a feminie middle school aged student, while in the other he is the son of the female MC. Either way, both are distasteful regardless of the "harmless" and innocent nature of the female MC's.

Basically the same show. They're both slice-of-life comedies about a shota young boy who gets to live in a dorm house full of older sister-type women (you know, the kind who would say "ara ara") and often ends up involved in absurd and slightly lewd situations. Sunohara-sou is a bit less explicit, but tbh they're both relatively tame and more about the comedy than the ecchi content anyway

Both shows play with the same idea, but one is harem with fanservice while the other is vanilla and more innocent. Oddly enough, in the more innocent show, the male lead is much more successful at pursuing relationship with the older girl. If you liked one, maybe you'll find something to like in the other one, though one of those shows is much better.

Berserk

Both of these anime feature an epic and dramatic story centered around two deep and well developed characters. Among these characters I found Griffith from Berserk and Reinhard from LOTGH to be very similar, both being young feminine looking men with dangerously grand ambitions, strategic genius, and subversive ideas. They also each share a distinct tone in their storytelling which can best be described as poetic. This poetic aspect overlays the constant brutal battles that drive each of these anime and creates an unsettling but engaging contrast. I think that anyone who is willing to overlook the shift in scenery and time period will appreciate one series if they did the other.

There are a lot of reasons why you wouldn't think these two anime would go over well with the same people, but when it comes down to it, if you focus on characterization more than on plot and you liked the characters of either LoGH or of Death Note, I expect you will like the other. The presentation of each anime is very different - indeed, LoGH is about 20 years older than Death Note, and the original LoGH novels are even older - and many aspects of the plot of each are totally unrelated, there nevertheless exists a similarity between the main characters (especially in the two main characters of each respective show) and in the ideals and morals that drive each series, particularly the two main concepts in each series: The struggle between the Machiavellian desire to do whatever is necessary to right what is wrong with the world, and the belief that certain methods of achieving victory and peace are unacceptable, no matter the consequences of forgoing them.

- Both stories share the same kind of setting aka imperial dominion. LoTGH has much more in depth character devolopment in a more slow paced fighting scene enviroment. Only downsize about the show is its aging graphics :( but storyline makes it worth watching even now. - They're both pretty similar when it comes to strategy display. Also Reinhard von Lohengramm and Lelouch Lamperouge both folow through a similar kind of story where they both try to be good but still end up doing horrible things.

League of the Galactic Heroes and Code geass Characters are very similar in ways, both Lelouch and Prince Loghengramm are trying to make the future better, while Yang Wenli and Suzaku are trying to improve the present, while both anime present the goal of Unifying the world/universe in there storylines, both anime have very compelling storylines and if you loved one there should be a 99.9% of you enjoying the other!!!

Two titanic intellects, one bent on reshaping the world to their own desire, the other fighting to maintain the status quo. This description fits both of these animes to a tee. They both tell their respective stories from the perspective of the two main characters. Rather than portray one as the protagonist and the other as the antagonist, they both leave the decision of who's the good guy and who's the bad guy up to the viewer. I have often heard both of these being referred to as a "thinking mans" anime and require some thought on behalf of the viewer to aperciate. So long as LOGH's archaic animation doesn't bother you then there's no good reason that if you liked one you wouldn't like the other.
