Act-age

The MCs of each manga are aiming to become actresses; however, due to their outstanding talent at the beginning, they go through different performances trying to learn to "act" their role. In Act-Age, the protagonist is an actress who acts based on past experiences whereas in Glass no Kamen (aka Glass Mask) the protagonist acts while "becoming" the individual. Both perform very realistically and are envied by their colleagues. Although Glass Mask has an older art style, the story is very good. Those interested can watch the anime instead.

The New Gate is a game come true but Id is rather about someone from a korean country ending up in a different world. Both graphic novels have a strong main character, in martial arts/swordsmanship/etc. And they travel to find a way back home.

Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami

The development of each novel's protagonist is around the same. In Koushaku Reijou, a woman awakens as a character from one of the otome games she had played before; however, being the antagonist of the game, she decides to strive for a happy ending instead of the known defeat. The story goes through the changes she makes to her father's fief, while applying her knowledge in business and (modern) societal laws. Likewise, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta goes through the development of a "monster's city" that was built by the male reincarnate from our society, who now has the body of a slime (the monster you see in rpgs). He will start from scratch to build his kingdom, whereas in Koushaku Reijou, the protagonist improves the living of the people already under her family's rule.

Cheese in the Trap Season 1
|
Both manga/manhwa...graphic novels are about a couple who are the smartest in their grade. They get to know one another's flaws/darkness, lessen the distance between themselves and become a beautiful pair. In cheese in the trap they seem to view each other in a negative way and never got to know one another till a year after, but in karekano, the characters start off as friends and grow on one another. Both are great reads and highly recommended.

Also based off the hakkenden novels. The eight half brothers who are now reincarnated in a different time are gathering together (in coincidence). Unlike this movie, the hakkenden anime series doesn't have as much romance--more friendship, family bond stuff.

Yawara!

Both concentrated on the life a person aiming to be a pro in some sport. In Yawara, the female is unwilling to play judo but is very skilled at it whereas in Major, the protagonist has a passion for baseball and will eventually as the title suggests, play in the Majors. Major follows the protagonist from childhood till adulthood while Yawara starts from high school life to adulthood. The love aspect is stronger in Yawara whereas in Major there is barely or slightly any love life involved (only one can be sensed but it doesn't affect greatly on the protagonist's game play as much as in Yawara)

The time period may be somewhat the same since they both wear those royal gowns etc. The protagonist in Pandora Hearts has a personality similar to Fred's. Romance isn't one of its biggies though and its more like action than romance.

But because of certain circumstances his hatred towards baseball grows and he becomes a salaryman instead of a pro baseball player. Now he is asked by his high school coach to become the coach of an almost ruined baseball team that'll be disband in a year if they don't make it into Koshien

Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2
|
In Code Geass, the protagonist Lelouch is basically a lot like Koumei in Koutetsu Sangokushi. However the difference is in the characters and tactical analysis--Code Geass's is...deeper. In Koutetsu Sangokushi the characters are bound by the power of the Sovereign/Imperial Seal, wanting to keep it in their possession, but in Code Geass, the "power/supernatural" thing is the geass--a power that differs with each person. Of course I don't want to give anything away so therefore I won't say any more. But a recommendation is to watch the first code geass before the second or else you'll be confused in some parts.
