I don't know what to think about it. I expected more. The plot was difficult for me to understand. I couldn't connect with the protagonist either... I have to say that, in comparison with others, he felt emotionless and boring. I couldn't get the message Hayao Miyazaki tried to convey this time. What I liked the most about this movie were the vibrant colors, the animation and the soundtrack, even though I think it is definitely not one of Joe Hisaishi's best works.

Give it a try if you like Ghibli movies, but keep your expectations low so it doesn't disappoint you.

"My Happy Marriage" is one of the greatest gifts this summer season has given us. It's not all about romance or the emotional challenges the characters may face, but it also incorporates supernatural elements, mystery, and even action. While romances typically follow lighter themes, this one delivers an exceptional performance in addressing delicate subjects."My Happy Marriage" portrays and embraces the imperfections of its characters, especially those of Miyo.

What I like most about this story is that, even though from the moment she reunites with Kiyoka, it could have completely ignored Miyo's past and portrayed her as a changed person since she already had her ... future husband's approval, it doesn't hesitate to remind the audience of the impact abuse can have on the victim and that it takes a considerable amount of time to heal. Physical wounds heal at some point, but emotional ones can leave much more painful scars capable of lasting over time.

Its animation, led by Kinema Citrus (Barakamon, Made in Abyss...), is a true marvel, and its soundtrack, composed by Evan Call (Violet Evergarden, Josee, The Tiger and the Fish...), is equally outstanding. I highly encourage you to give it a chance!

As a dog lover, out of all the works related with these lovely creatures that I have read, this has probably been one of the most heart-breaking ones (or maybe I can even say that it has been the most heart-breaking one, although "Stargazing Dog" will always be on the top for me). Three hours ago I knew nothing about its existence, but now, I think I can state that it has become one of my favourite mangas. If you love dogs, are aware of the suffering and sadness that this kind of stories can bring you and you are ok with it, I totally ... recommend it. I'm sure it will make you want to hug your pets stronger than ever.

A heartwarming slice of life with endearing characters that are impossible not to end up loving. Somehow, Mitsumi reminded me of myself during my first year at university as a rural girl in a new and unknown city. As an anime only, I thought that the last chapter was going to be different, but maybe this is a good moment to start reading its manga, as I need to know how the relationship between Mitsumi and Sousuke keeps on developing. Shoutout to Mitsumi's group of friends, which became an important source of serotonin during the whole series too, together with the two protagonists. These kind ... of groups always make me yearn for a friendship like theirs. I totally recommend this anime if you love following the life of highschool boys and girls and exploring their relationships.
