When I decided to watch Another, the series had already ended. I had just finished watching Umineko no Naku Koro Ni and I had the necessity of watching a similar anime. I came across Another.
At first, I was not really convinced on watching the series, but when I saw there were only 12 episodes, I thought 'eh, why not?', but at the same time 'it's only 12 episodes? How can an anime so short hold a really interesting story?', hell I was wrong. Even though the serie was really short, it is one of the most interesting stories I've ever encounter.

series starts pretty slow, I have to admit I didn't like it much, but then you start to get attached to the caracters and you get caught into the story little by little, until you cannot stop thinking about it. There is si much mistery, so much creepiness that, in my case, You start watching episode by episode and you don't leave the computer until you've finished the complete anime. I have to say that Another has one of the best build ups I have ever seen. This is what makes this anime so great. Little by little it goes revealing the meaning of the series, everything (music, enviroment, characters, etc) helps the build up and makes you attached to the story line. Thus, it is also amazing how they create the plot and the results of it, especially the results, at the end of the series they give you an answer you'd never expect.
Believe me, take my word, if you're fanatic of horror, drama, supernatural, etc, this is an anime you must put on your 'Plan to Watch' list.
