Ive reread this book countless times and I honestly liked the different story more than i liked the main series. The original doesnt give you much time with any of the characters especially Mami and Kyoko. A lot of people have complained that the main series doesnt have much character backstory and that Mami was basically there just to die, but the different story fixes basically all of these problems.
I liked how it was set more in the past (despite it being an alternate universe, i still dont completely get the madoka timeline thing lol), after Kyoko just made her wish and a few months

I started reading Tokyo Mew Mew (omnibus 1) a few years ago and decided to pick it up again recently. I wasnt disappointed, but it does have some flaws too.
The first few chapters are boring, but it gets better over time. The endangerd species fighting aliens is unique but it could have been done better. I really wish they would have done more with the fighting part of it because it usually gets resolved in around like 2 pages which made me more interested in the romance than the actual thing. I could see the relationships with Ichigo and the other characters all working some ...

First of all, i would like to say GLT is only good if you have the patience for it, if youre into actioned packed series or anything like that then it isnt for you.
I would like to start off with the two main characters, Chito and Yuu. Personally, i found the characters enjoyable, but they do have their flaws. Their relationship dynamic is very overrused at times, but watching them interact with eachother is very cute. They can have some funny moments with eachother once in a while, but a lot of it is just Chito hitting Yuu. I can imagine some people finding this ... |
