If I had to review this anime in short, my words would be: exciting, smart, serious and yet funny, and most importantly FUN.
STORY
If you're interested in the story just check out the synopsis, I'm not going to go into details, since it would spoil your entertainment too much. It's about a group of people who accidentally discover a basic form of time travel. They can't travel trough time themselves, but they can send things back (although the result is not too beautiful, everything becomes a green gel-like thing) and later on they discover that via SMSes they can even send messages back in a limited
...
interval.
I believe the pacing is just great, you never get bored, yet you get to know everyone, it really is perfect. One of the best things about the story is its transformation, there is a distinct point where from being mostly funny and comical everything becomes serious. The 10/10 rate is a no brainer, really.
ART
Now this is one beautiful anime. The first thing you're going to notice is that everything is detailed enough to make you feel like you're part of the story. Then comes some grainy, washed out filter (barely noticeable, really, it won't disturb you if you're not into it), and all of the sudden you feel like leaving the streaming site you're on and getting (by which I mean buying, obviously, we're not animals! ;) ) it in high definition, and believe me, it's worth it.
Personally I think that the visuals are on par with Ergo Proxy, which in my opinion has one of the best visuals around. All in all, 10/10 for sure.
SOUND
Now this is something I can't say too much about. I'm normally fine with anything as longs as it's nothing unbearably bad. All I can say is that the opening and closing themes are very good and go well with the atmosphere, and the voices of the characters are top notch, you can't stop smiling when you hear Feyris or Mayushii, they are so cute that you're going to heal from the worst depression after they say anyithing, really. 10/10, because I feel it deserves it, but I'm really no pro in this department.
CHARACTERS
Speaking of characters, wow... All of them are so detailed and multidimensional that even the last supporting character could get his/her own show. I'm not kidding, they're that good. I don't want to say anything about them specifically, but all of them have great and unique personalities, and they all have some character development trough the story. Of course the two "mainest" main characters, Okabe and Makise (The Zombie - I have no idea how she got that nickname) are top notch, unique, and have chemistry, which isn't always the fact. You just can't find anything to complain about in this department. I have to mention how great Okabe's character is in particular. The guy transforms from a mad scientist to a paranoid conspiracist to a caring big brother type so smoothly that you just KNOW that you would love him in real life. 10/10, no doubt.
ENJOYMENT
I don't think that I have to write too much about it. Great characters, awesome art, mind blowing story, what else would you need? 10/10

Overall:
I have to admit I didn't really feel fascinated about this anime when I decided to watch it. It's the 3rd on the list, but still, I thought that I would find it boring. But thankfully I started it anyways, since I have more time than anything else, and it was my best decision up to date in the anime world. I'll have to rewatch it to conclude wether it will kick Death Note from the throne for me, but the very fact that I find it to be in the same league as DN is something that I wouldn't have thought 2 days ago.
If you got this far with my review it means that you are at least a little bit interested in this anime. In which case just start the downloa... I mean go buy it right now and watch it, I'm certain that you will love it!

Alright, here it goes, the second season of Code Geass, and I must foretell, I'm impressed!
I guess if you watch Code Geass you like or at least watched Death Note. In the beginning of the 2nd season, I felt the same as with DN after THAT character's death, it felt a bit off. I thought that once again after a phenomenal first season we get something subpar, but boy was I wrong!
After you understand the first little twist and get used to the situation, it's the good old Code Geass. The art style is the same (duh), the characters are just as you remember them,
...
with a few nice additions. Seriously, if you liked the first season, you won't lack anything, we have the mecha fights (by the way I never liked mechas but surprisingly enjoyed this element in CG), the fights fought with brains, everything.
But what really makes it totally worth watching is the ending. Don't worry, I'm not spoiling anything, let's just say that it makes perfect sense, gives meaning to everything done before and makes you question everything that happened up until that point. It's simply ingenious, and thankfully satisfying, unlike Death Note's ending (in my opinion, of course).
I don't even know why I'm writing this review, seriously. If you liked Code Geass you'd watch it anyways, even if everyone told you to stay away from it, and the fact that everyone is praising it doesn't really make any difference, does it? All that I can say is that I envy you, reader, because you're yet to face the twists and the ending without knowing anything.
Enjoy every last second of it, and just lay back, Lelouch is taking care of everything else!

First of all, this anime is really enjoyable, so even though my review is going to be mostly negative, please don't think that I hate it. I seriously don't, it's fun to watch, my problem is that it could have been so much more.
The main theme is the Z-apocalypse. Oddly enough it's the only anime around with our brain eater friends in focus, it seems like japanese people are totally scared of even thinking of having to live trough such thing on an island. Anyways, this is the main selling point of the anime, it just feels so great to see the familiar setup in
...
an anime.
The characters are okay-ish, the protagonist has some character development (nothing serious though, from being a normal, depressed student to a reliable "leader", that's all) and Saeko is one badass chick with some psycho flavour. The others are unfortunately as one dimensional as you can get, you have the typical nerd who happens to love guns, the doctor with huuuuuuge breasts, the necessary little girl and the supposed love interest for our main guy.
What really ruins (or can ruin) your enjoyment is the ridiculous amount of fanservice. When I started to watch it I felt like I was that pervert japanese guy from those infamous TV shows which spread on the internet. All (really, ALL OF THEM, :ohgodwhy: ) the camera angles are designed to show you either boobs bouncing or panties under the skirts. Even the traditional and supposedly strict japanese Saeko becomes a total slut sometimes, just because...well, I don't think that anyone knows why, if there would be a semi romantic moment it's ruined by boobs (I didn't think it's even possible o.o ) or crazy dialogues.
In the end I'd like to say it again, it's an enjoyable anime, really. But the setup and the atmosphere of the first and second episodes makes you think that "hell yeah", only to make you go "oh god, please don't do this to this awesome stuff". If you want zombies go for it, if you want harem and boobs, then great, you've found the paradise, but otherwise I'm sure you can find something better (but again, if you want zombies you have no other choice).

–NO SPOILERS–
First of all I have to say that this was my second anime (after DB/DBZ, so basically you could say the first real one), so I might be a little partial, but if I am, then so is everyone else here. This anime is in my opinion in its own league, and very few animes I watched came even close to it after the pinky cloud flew away after watching them.
One thing you must know though: if you're looking for action, move along, seriously, now is not the time to watch it (and be let down because of you anticipation), but when you feel
...
like using your brain while watching something you MUST get back to it.
Without giving anything away the story is about the "detective war" of two similar and yet incredibly different minds. The fight is going on behind the scenes, and you can never know who will win, until in the end someone eventually does.
The best thing besides the brain-factor is the two main characters. I'm sure you will find yourself totally supporting one and hating the other, but it's entirely up to you who you're cheering for, both of them have understandable motivation. It's even possible to cheer for one, and then change your mind as the story develops, it happened to me (oddly enough not during the story, but after my first watch).
I guess I didn't say anything useful, but seriously, there is no way to tell you guys anything that isn't going to spoil something. All in all, if you want some smart entertainment and this wasn't the first anime you've watched, then by all means go for it, you're not going to regret it!
