This was a really fast-paced story and it ended as it began. So the viewers might find it difficult to follow up due to pace but not story.
There were some "good minus meh" theoretical grounds on physics in this show. Those positive scientific claims can be discussed in forum or Reddit. Let's begin.
**Story**
It was fair (6). The show did not succeed to amaze me while revealing true identities of some characters.
**Art**
...
Very good (8). Yes, the show was "meh", but it had a unique style. Drawings on faces, thematic color palette etc. It was unique (apart from a pair of huge bewbs).
**Sound**
Not a mess, and not unique either (6). I began to think some guy is up and creating OSTs for modern anime series. They all sound like some particular one person. I will not remember any of OSTs from this show. Even Chaos;Head's tense OST was good.
**Characters/CD**
DUDE, WHAT THE HELL! It was a mess, really. You can see those guys in every series. Starring;
- Mr NEET Talker (Gamon Yuuta)
- That Girl You Know Loving Cats (Aikawa Miyuu)
- Mrs. Silence (Kurenaino Aria)
- The Guy Who is Fun At Parties (Hashigami Sarai)
- Party Pooper (Moritsuka Shun) (Seriously, this guy appears INTO every conversation)
- My Ulti is My Bewbs (Narusawa Ryouka)
- I Drew You All Bitchez (Nishizono Ririka)
- Ascention (Sumikaze Touko)
- LGBTi At The Same Time (Izumi Houhei)
- I Use My Power and Wait 4 Cooldown (Kisaki Asuna)
CD awards:
The Most Original Character: 404 Not Found
The Most Annoying Character: Narusawa Ririka
The Coolest Character: Well...
The Most Hopeless Character: Aikawa Miyuu
Which is, character development is shit in this show.
**Enjoyment**
Good (7). Why? Because I could not find any other better shit in this season.
**Overall**
Good (7). Yes, the show was down, but they tried to fix something up on process. They slowed the pace down in middle episodes. They show'd another characteristic of Narusawa just to say "Hey, we are trying.". So, yeah.
For me, it is just waste of tiem.

# Introduction
This show is best of 2016/Summer, to me. You will see details and reasons below.
## Story
Story is so great. A drama in a city. Heavily supported with character development. There are no unique stylistic on storytelling, it just goes. And the end of story (no spoilers here) forces you to face with the absurdity (as in Camus) of life and motivation and meaning of living (and you can sense this in the dialog between Nero and Angelo in camp in the ending episode).
## Art
Art is so unique. The show has specific color schemes and drawing has unique styles like details on
...
face. Addition to color schemes, just saying there are no particular color schemes based on context. However, the choice of lighting in intense scenes overcomes this.
## Sound
Opening band is Sigure, same band in first season of Psychopass. I somehow like their style of vocals. Opening is good, ending is also good (and needs a goddamn lyrics video btw). OST's are okay.
## Character and Character Development
CD is very great in this show. When I say "CD is good/great", I mean that characters have their own limits based on their personality. And in this show, only handicap is Angelo's decision on Nero, but it had a reason (you will see in the end).
## Enjoyment
You will enjoy every moment.
## Finally
Yeah, very good.

Now, it is not a complete detective story, I know, but it firstly gave the impression when a couple of first episodes arrived. So we can at least say that it is a Chekhov-like story, that gives a mystery at the beginning of each episode and solving it at the end. This is how it is like.
As I always say, I love theoretical grounds on shows. And this show has several. I take *dying or killing is the stupidest thing* thought as critics to *die for mother nation* or any other military approach, that is just great. But, there is no other grounds to mention.
**
...
Story **
As I told, seperated stories in each episodes. At least, I would wait for a complete puzzle by solving the little pieces. This is how a detective story is like, right? This is what it falls short. You enjoy, okay, but there should be a bigger scene of mysteries.
And also, it finished like there will be a second season. I do not know what people thinks about this, but I decides on series to *have an end as soon as possible*. This is a climax. So the ending -at least- did not satisfy me. It will surely go on. That is why I take two points from story.
** Art **
It is very good. Especially the brightness and darkness makes you sync with context. This is where it is unique. Also character art design is good, like, it contains *sirs* and *ladies*, you know what I mean. But it is surely not a masterpiece.
** Sound **
Opening, good, ending, good. But I will not listen them while I smoke. OSTs are also good.
** Character **
I love the way that characters having static characteristics and they can adapt the theory. It is quite professional.
*************
I enjoyed the show, but do not wait for a great detective story from it. That is all.

EDIT: I started again, so the review might change. Keep that in mind.
=======
Now, I hardly watched 11 episodes and I thought I did not enjoy. This review will not be positive. However, take it as a "review of anime", not "review of a person who does not fucking understand from music".
**Story**
Story is, meh.... When I was in 3rd episode, I even realized the problem of Kaori (not saying for the sake of not throwing spoilers, but the attitude of that girl is already a spoiler of a few final episode). The story goes through in the painful monologue of Kousei and this makes it painful
...
for us, too. Should we call authors as successful or not for sensing the pain?
**Art**
Art is very good. It has a unique style. For the sake of lips, I give 8.
**Sound**
Yeah. We know the plot is entirely on sound. Very good.
**Character**
This is not a joke: Character development in this anime is a MESS. Anime industry nowadays be like "I'll play a loser ADC and you'll play a crazy support and then we'll tell our success to everyone.". Every... single... character in this anime... is a stereotype. NOT an instance of a stereotype, THEY are the ESSENCE of stereotypes. You can simply take this shit as a cheatsheet on character development in anime if you ever happen to make one.
::Starring::
- A Loser
- An Annoying Support
- The Guy Good with Chicks
- The Girl Waiting for Confess
**Enjoyment**
It is as enjoying as walking through a brick wall.

This season was the most shitty of all. Really. I want my bytes back.
Story is having two sides of the same coin. Fair enough. And this makes you empathize with characters. Story, or setup, is just a bridge on this case. But that ending? Really? Do they plan a third season? Or they just tried to do some "Let's make them understand." stuff and suddenly fucked up on last episodes?
Art is very good. Color change due to emotions and stuff...
However, fuck the sound, really. I can do the same opening music with FL Studio or Nokia 1100. Really, bruh? I mean, the themes of first
...
season was fairly good. Why in the sweet dicks in my mouth does this particular season have poor themes? I wanted to randomly punch my computer screen. Thanks god, I heard the first season's opening at the end.
That character change? Bro? Why? WHY? You do it professionally, did you not even hear about Myers-Briggs and personality theory stuff? Noone can have those radical changes in a short amount of time! Kaneki was tortured, so he should have some traumas inside. Like, recovering takes time, y'know? However he suddenly had some godly powers to fuck bad boy, but the only thing fucked was story.
Did I enjoy? I hardly finished, goddamn. Funimation! Give my bytes back!

This anime -for Christ's sake- is the best of season. And it will be on focus for the ones who have already watched the series for a while after it finishes airing. It has a nice spot on casual characteristic psychology.
The story is well made. Not the greatest of history of anime series, but it has a good place. I love the anime series bases on its own theoretical ground. The main character has a problem and mystery power forces him to go back the time when the root of problem occurs, just great. And the story itself, you are not a detective but you
...
play it, you solve casual puzzles, analyzing future and stuff...
Art is great. The sudden color change based on character's emotional state and the narrow frame of past. You exactly sense what the character on focus feels and the frame makes you sense exactly in which time sequence you are.
Sound is very good. Especially the dub. You distinguish the characters inner voice and outer voice.
Characters are well-developed, really. Characters have their own static boundaries and they are stick into that, which makes the show realistic. And the adult characters projected well. But I will not say so for children. They are acting adult. However, since it is the way of anime world, those can be avoided. And children having adult spirit makes the story develop.
You can really enjoy this anime. And if you are sync with it, the endings will make you feel empty for a week, and you find yourself waiting for Friday excited.
Finally, you better check this show out. It has a great casual manner, psychology and you will find a bit of yourself in it.

Now, now... I guarantee you will feel guilty watching this anime. This time, the finger is pointed at you: "Hey, you! Life is there, outside! And you are sitting here, watching this. You are a loser!". I've never felt this guilty before, I swear.
This time, the theoretical ground is on psychopatology. A new type of depression (?) hikikomori is described by a Japan psychiatrist called "Tamaki Saito". And our main character is under this kind of depression. There is also a schizophrenic ground in anime too. Also, psychoanalysis, philosophy... I feel like a mazoshist.
Cool story, bro. I mean it. It catches the mood and *forces*
...
you to emphatize with context. Goddamn! You feel like, you are the responsible for whole things, even the precense for this show. And it has boundaries on theoretical grounds I mentioned above. Like, our main character is a hikikomori, and you see this situation of his decreases, but he cannot break through it. | And I want to talk about the end episodes. I will not give spoilers. But I want to mention anyway: You WILL feel empty. You UTTERLY feel. You will be like "Now, what?". What is the meaning of life? I felt like this before.
Art is standard. But the thing makes it unique is, the schizophrenic graphics and the normal ones. And you cannot distinguish in some point, saying that "Is it a dream, bro?". Art blurs the story, I mean.
Sound? Inner OSTs were quite good. They were so *unique*. You cannot hear OSTs like that in every series. However, I cannot say the same for opening and the second ending theme. But, the first ending theme, it IS... it IS FUCKING AMAZING! I mean, as meaning and as a music, I felt so strange. I did not felt like this before.
Character development is very good. I said, they have boundaries and they cannot break through walls like a superhero. They are just a humanbeing. The thing is, they are based on standard character template of anime world. Like, an angry boy, an unexperienced good-for-nothing boy, a girl that you don't even understand, a girl that is unnecessarily depressed for no single fucking reason, an so on... This is I give one point less to character development.
I FUCKING ENJOYED IT! The fingers were pointed at me, but I recall who I am, now. In the end, you will feel like, you looked through space from outer side, and saw everything, lived everything, felt everything. Great work, so great.

I did not hear about this anime from anyone. I found it by chance. But, this goddamn show, my god, was so touching and cleverly made, which means I both emphathized on characters and thought of story at the same time.
== SOFT SPOILER ==
Everytime I say, and will say, I love series with a theoretical ground. I can tell this fictional places mentioned in show and the people belonging to there have a common genetical property, "intelligence". This way, it is really based on evolutionary theory, especially the part that Gray Wolf is impregnated by force. The intention was to create a new child with
...
high intelligence. And the Saulline Kingdom -where Gray Wolves are born- has successfully come to this day, survived due to their genetic property.
The story also projects the conflict between science and religion.
== SOFT SPOILER ==
Take the story. It is goddamn great. At the beginning of series (like about 1-10 episodes), it seems to have a Chehov-based short mystery stories, yet after that, you see it was actually part of whole story itself. Then you be like: "What the hell is happening?". However, I must tell, story is kind of heavy.
Art is great. The scenes of past events, teh art of old stories really project the feeling to you. You will not only watch, but you sense.
Music is great. That second ending -"Unity" by Lisa Komine- did really touch my heart. Whenever, wherever I hear that song, I sense the same feelings of anime. Theme sounds are also great, and -how to say it- different in a kind. However, the opening theme could be great.
Characters are developed inside the boundaries of classic anime culture. You will remember any character (including main ones), like we have that girl who is impossible to satisfy, the one loving but not taking a step, another one who is unreasonably so excited bla bla bla. I think character development could be better. Especially Kujo running everywhere of school, just screaming "Viktorique, Viktorique..." annoys me.
But in the end, I really really enjoyed this show. If you want to watch a detective story that somehow touches your heart, you can watch it.

I love the animes with theoretical grounds. And by this, I mean not only referencing a real theory on real world, but the show itself might have a theoretical ground, a system inside. I enjoyed this show since it has the both.
You must watch the show with a knowledge of psychoanalysis background and a bit of Carl Jung's social unconscious. It has a mysterical ground of transfer unconscious state of emotions and thoughts through saliva. And these affecting the real physical world and neurological state is just depends of Carl Jung's metaphysical description of social unconscious.
==============
The story is very good. It is actually a school
...
anime where the story takes in, but the actions of that "mysterious girl" in the story (to achive transferring some emotions through his new boyfriend's mind) makes it curious and you were never be able to drop it to understand what exactly the flying fuck is going on there.
Art is old-style, that ecchi animes of late of 90's and beginning of 2000's you'll remember. So at least I said "Yay, I feel as before if I keep watching this show" and made me feel utterly like that. A stunning old-style.
The sounds, OSTs, oh god. Those were really amazing. Especially OSTs will make you inside the chamber of story and you will feel like the observer of whole things. That's just great.
Character development was good, but the development of our main boy would be better. I know it is a cult to have a sexually unexperienced boy in these kind of series, but it became too mainstream. However, this type of characters make the story develop, I accept. I am just complaining about mainstream and why authors never try the hard way just one single time.
I really really enjoyed the series. You must watch it. Instead of being ecchi, it has really soft taste on it. You will not even realize it is an ecchi.
