Its been good visally.....but outside of that the story has been all over the place....the power scaling is something im still not sure of 45 episodes in and thats not a good sign for the overall legacy of the show. I wish I could feel stronger about it. I really do. Dont get me wrong, I still come away entertained every week but some episodes feel like very uneventful and not impactful to the plot at all....Im all about plot and detail and character development. So far the show has been weak in all of those areas...Nobara SHOULD NOT be getting her backstory 43 episodes

Aside from FRIEREN this IS the show everyone should be watching. I'd completely ignore the critics who don't recommend it. The voice acting and direction is superb, the animation quality and music score is fantastic!! Every week I'm left feeling entertained and enchanted by MAOMAO and her life in the rear palace. She literally smacked a girl to the GROUND for being an idiot. She has more sass and personality than most female protagonists you'll ever come across.
So far, the adaptation was beautifully animated without cutting any corners. Maomao doesn't thinks she is better than other women and the story doesn't force any unnecessary main ...

Ive seen many types of anime, but this one sets itself apart from the rest. Easily one of the best I've ever had the enjoyment of watching. It even stands alongside bleach, full metal alchemist, even dragon ball z as one of my faves.
What makes this anime so enjoyable is the 2 main characters themselves, hayate and nagi. Nagi's uselessness complements hayate because he can literally do EVERYTHING and makes up for what nagi lacks. The side characters are also amazing. Klaus, The katsura sisters, nishizawa-san, etc... are all great characters. I love how they all reference other anime and make fun of ... |
