The first season of Tokyo Ghoul was very good, i can tolerate the fact that Kaneki didn't go super saiyan until the last episode because of the character development and the new concept that the series presented. I loved the art of this season too and the sound was very good, in particular the ending, i found it nice to listen. I really enjoyed it in the last minutes of episode 12, that scene in my opinion compensated a little for the lack of development of the plot. I suppose that the author wanted to leave a lot of things in mystery and let us ... figure it out or fill the blank by ourselves but something just need to be explained a little more in some way. Im not gonna lie, i did enjoy the series, the first couple episodes were exactly what i was expecting but passing the mid point it started to let me down a bit. I am always willing to tolerate certain things in a series if the concept is new and interesting enough and while Root A still is a new concept, it got less interesting. Im hoping there is a season 3 that evens things out. The story was not the best, while i didn't know what was going to happen next and got really nice surprises, sometimes i didn't felt compelled to know why things happened the way they did, i felt disappointed, i was really hoping this season to be much better than the previous one.

One of the best anime this season if not the best, it has a very original trama, nothing in common with other stories that you can predict whats going to happen next. While watching kiseijuu i can never know what's coming next. I like that the drama, is very realistic... except the part that parasitic aliens come from the sky and infect humans to then proceed to eat other humans. It tells the story of how Shinichi (the main character) coexist with the alien that tried to eat his head from the inside, and how they overcome the problems that arise by being a half ... alien, half human. The intro is one of my favorites and i can listen to it like if it was one of my favorites songs, it reminds me of the intro of Air Gear, another one of my favorite series. Kiseijuu to me is a mix of Mirai Nikki, Btoom, Psycho Pass and maybe Akame Ga Kill, so if you liked any of them you'll probably enjoy Kiseijuu. If you are looking for a series that's more mature, filled with suspense this is for you.
