I was scrolling through Instagram, until I saw a post from the official Crunchyroll, talking about the anniversary of when this anime was released. I decided to watch it and was really compelled with the whole first episode. You would not expect how a girl finding one million yen, will lead her to a whole other place. The story is great overall.
The art is amazing. The art captures the world of Antarctica in a really pleasing way. Madhouse animation studio never disappoints. I can't really say anything else because the art is that good.
The sound, the opening, and the ending song really capture the
...
mood of the anime. Don't get me started on the score. Just them being in high school, while having music playing really changes the perspective of the anime. Combine an aesthetically pleasing image with an orchestra, you get a really emotional combination.
The characters are really good. In the anime, each character has their own background and why they are coming to Antarctica. They are an odd combination of friends, and yet they make the story a whole lot better.
I enjoyed this very much. The anime has a really good mix of being emotional and being funny. Especially them experiencing new things, and their reaction to them. Overall, I enjoyed this very much.
In conclusion, just watch this. It's a 13 episode anime that has good art, a good score, very nice characters, and of course, a really great story.
