Yuuri was a normal high school student until he is transported to another world after an unpleasant encounter with some bullies and water. Arata wanted to disappear after feeling down while Yuuri did not, but they were both in for a surprise. Yuuri is an easy to like character, his personality makes Kyo kara Maou! a fun and exciting adventure to watch! Arata is a character with whom one may be able to relate to because we all feel like that at times and/or have had similar problems.
